Very nice person who greeted me when I pulled up. She seemed a bit overwhelmed and it was an hour before closing. Asked if they offer conventional oil since I had issues at the last two Jiffy Lubes nearby. She said they do but are out at the moment. I asked when they will have more and she told me that they'll get their delivery at the end of the week. I said no problem, I can come back and she seemed so relieved. In any case, I came back a few days later and got my regular oil change with basic conventional oil that the other two Jiffy Lubes did not even offer. This will now be my go to Jiffy Lube. Shout out to General Manager Casey! She is sooo kind and compassionate. I really think that's why you need wahines in male dominated businesses. I shared with her, as a kupuna, that car repair places gives me great anxiety cause it's an unknown environment and it always cost me money. Plus male mechanics are usually not people persons. They're good at cars but it doesn't translate to being friendly or customer service oriented. In my long life I've known only 3 friendly (male) mechanics. But she completely understood what wahines go through! She was super kind and really looked out for me. I felt comfortable that I could trust. Safety checks are now by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Luckily I did make one cuz that mechanic got sick and I had to reschedule from a Monday to Wednesday. I had to replace my windshield blades ($19) and my brake light bulb ($19) also. Safety is about $25, the standard. Not too many cars I think I was 2nd or 3rd?? Took less than 1 hour. I've seen them slammed so I was happy with it especially end of month when safely is gonna expire. But I am so happy with Casey! She works hard, she's moving cars, prepping them, doing customer service. She's a whirlwind of activity. Please please give her a huge raise and keep her. I chose this location as it's at bit of different location and it already looked extremely short staffed though there was just three cars waiting I was quoted 1.5hrs wait as one car had a bit major work to be done so that's one guy working while this lady who greeted me tried her best to apologize for the wait which I was completely understanding and told her it's okay. She calmly says yesterday it was over 3hrs wait and suggested for me to wait while I call and check elsewhere and if I found anywhere else to grab it and go or if not wait it out here...understand mine expired in June so I just needed to be done...sigh! Got a safety check here and they just willy nilly but the inspection sticker on my car. I did not want that done because I had a bracket to put it on to avoid damage to my brand new bumper. I got in my car where the I was told the sticker was in my passenger seat and it was not. When I asked Ryanna the crew chief why she did that cause I told her I didn't want that she said "that's just what we do" while snacking on a handful of potato chips. Had to peel off my sticker which messed it up and left residue on a brand new bumper. Lots of places do safety inspections, I recommend doing it somewhere else, you get the same thing and won't risk the disrespect to your vehicle read more

This location is my 2nd favorite location. There is a water station and most of the time when I come in the AM it's not as hot. The AC seems to be on full blast as the waiting area is small - I enjoyed my time outside looking at the school, traffic, and birds. The service took a while almost 2 hours for an oil change and an additional brake flush (?) that I was not aware of but the staff kindly showed me an indicator. The wait was acceptable as there were 2 cars in the bay with 7 cars in front of me. It was also at the end of the month so people must've also been there for their safety check. Safety check hours are limited so call ahead to double check. Bring a book or talk to your chair neighbor and time will pass quickly. The staff were all friendly and joyful to be around - they were also clear about how much time it could take 1-1.5 hours for an oil change. I've been here a few times throughout the years since it's downtown and it's a walkable distance to work. read more

Punchbowl is not as fancy, spacious or big but the people made all the difference for me. University, I waited and waited with no interaction with anyone and when I finally spoke with an employee, they told me 4 hours. This was with 5 vehicles in front of me. At Punchbowl, they accommodated me all the way. greeted me in the parking lot, invited me to the lobby and got me in and out in 30 minutes. It's a drive up, get your oil changed, pay and drive out place. I loved the fact I didn't have to get out of my car to get an oil change and the guys were very courteous. When I arrived there was one car in front of me and it took the two guys about 10-15 minutes to finish up. When it was my turn they guided me into the shop, explained the process, did a safety check, changed the oil, collected payment, provided receipt and off I went.
