Everyone loves a convenient oil change. You stopped by on my way to work. Before I got up to the bay doors, I was stopped to open my hood to see if they had the filter in stock. I understand there are supply chain issues. They also said it would be $100. I drive a 2000s Mini Cooper. The trainee and recent trainee couldn't find the vehicle info, so I produced a previous Jiffy Lube invoice from another location. It wasn't $100 by the way. They have the oil filter in stock. Hurray! I sit in the lobby. There are no other customers. After a few minutes, the manager gives me the up sale. I sit for another 10 minutes in the lobby then they come in to tell me that they don't have the nut wrench to change my oil. Wasted at least 25 minutes of my time. I had an emergency and had to get to Casa Grande 2 hours away, I knew my car would not make it due to needing oil and refill coolant. The "change oil now" light came on in my car a couple of months ago, and since I was out running errands, I simply pulled into the nearest Jiffy Lube. It wasn't very busy, so they told me they could have my car done in under an hour. Two hours later, they were FINALLY about to finish up. The manager told me my tires really needed to be rotated and they could do it for five bucks--and it would only take a few more minutes. Instead, it took twenty minutes--when there was only one other car in the bays, and it was waiting on parts. I was thrilled when they finally handed me my keys and I could be on my way. I vowed never to go back, but at least I was done. Recently my dashboard lit up to tell me that my left from tire needed air. I put air in it--but the dashboard info remained unchanged. Long story short is that when the guys at this Jiffy Lube rotated my tires, they didn't bother to hook the sensors back up properly, so the car's computer wasn't able to read the information correctly, and it was not the left front tire but the left rear tire that was low on air. Locating and repairing a punctured tire, which should have been a pretty straight-forward problem, became far more complicated and costly because these clowns couldn't be bothered to do their job right. I had to have all my tires checked and adjusted because of Jiffy Lube's stupid, lazy mistake. read more

I used to always go to dealer for all maintenance or repairs. I have been coming to this Jiffy lube for a couple of years now. They earned my trust the first time. They live up to the name. Very fast usually 15-20 minutes. They do a thorough job. Manager remembers you and your vehicle and the previous service details without even looking at the history in the computer. Had my oil changed here with no issues several times. Today they were busy so I went to the location at val vista. Experience was pleasant but when I got home I noticed they put a semi synthetic with the wrong viscosity rating. I called that location and they said that was ok. So I then called this location and the manager confirmed that the wrong oil was put in at the other location. She then offered for me to come in and they would rechange it for free. Just went in for a standard oil change. Took over an hour and they didn't do all the services they normally do. No tire pressure check no windows cleaned and no vacuuming of the interior. I was disappointed, the locations on country club/baseline as well as chandler Blvd/Alma school are superior. I'll be going there from now on read more

I sat in the waiting area for 10 minutes, just to be told it would be another 20 minutes before they would finish. That wouldn't have been a problem but I'm one of two customers. He has been here 20 minutes. 30 minutes for an oil change. Why do you needle nose plires and a flashlight? It's just scary to see three people underneath the hood of a car. It's an oil change... Hands down the best service I've ever received getting oil down on any of my vehicles. They are honest and reliable. I would recommend anyone coming to this location. I just got off work and 15 minutes before they closed I over here the manager talking to a customer ahead of me not blindsiding her but treating her like she was family. I knew then this is the place to get my work done. I apologized ahead of time coming right before they closed and he without a beast said no worries I don't turn down anyone. To the manager of store #2084 in Gilbert, AZ. I have been taking my vehicle to your store for the past year for oil changes and was originally pleased with the service. I just had my car serviced at the dealership I purchased my car from and the mechanic informed me that the oil filter was never changed on my last visit to store #2084. I'm absolutely in shock that a business that specializes in oil changes would do this to their customers. Now that I am aware of your companies practices, I will NEVER bring my car to Jiffy Lube again and will also do everything within my power to make sure no one else does either. If it takes email blasts, blogs or social media outreach, I will make sure everyone knows how Jiffy Lube truly operates. Unbelievable! BEWARE! Took over an hour to get an oil change and that was not even the worst part. Half way through the oil change, the service technician came up to me to show me my car and asked what kind of oil I wanted for my car. when I told him I wanted the Shell oil special for $26.95, his reply was, "why would you want that crud? That right there is a red flag that all this company wants is to up-sell and mark-up. I declined anything they offered as extra and let them finished up. When I came home I found they overfilled the car oil immensely. I would not be surprised if they put 5 quarts when only 3.8 were needed. The oil on the dipstick is 1/2" above the "full line" and that is DANGEROUS! I wanted to get this oil change done quickly and thought this would be the best alternative but I will never be going back there again. read more

I went in for just an oil change, and asked for the cheapest oil change. After they pulled my car in and talk to me about prices, he said that the 41.99 oil change is the cheapest that they offer. I said I've gone to other Jiffy Lube's and paid less. Homeboy tells me that they do not offer that oil at that location. So I said well if this is the cheapest that you have and that's fine. I then went on the Internet to see if I can find a coupon, which I did. The coupon was for all Phoenix metro area and was $26 I showed this to them when they called me up when the oil change was done, and they said that that was the cheaper oil and they did not use that. I said oh do you have the oil in stock, they said yes. So I corrected them and said that they did not give me the cheapest oil change because they do have a cheaper oil change and they lied to me. Homeboy then proceeds to tell me that I don't want that oil in my car, that it is for lawnmowers. So i'm not sure why they wouldn't sell oil for Cars that is for lawnmowers. I am ase certified, and I know the difference between oils. I usually change my own oil because of places like this. Unfortunately I do not have the time to do so at the moment because I'm not a mechanic anymore.. Extremely disappointed that I had to experience what I hear people experience at bad shops. For my first time going to a jiffy lube, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I went to this jiffy lube because I was in a rush on my way to work and I needed an oil change, I had bought the oil and filter a week ago and meant to go to a Chrysler dealership but didn't have the time and went to jiffy lube for a fast oil change. When I pulled up I informed the guy that I only wanted an oil change and nothing else and that I had brought my own oil and filter. I asked the service guy if I was only going to be charged for labor and he said yes. When his associate wrote my ticket up I noticed the price was $38.47 and I asked if that was the price and he said yes, before I could tell him to stop they had already drained my oil, he said I had a 3 dollar discount for bringing my own oil and that's it. I asked why it was so expensive and he said that it was for a package, I made it clear that I should only be charged for labor and the service man and the manager insisted the price was correct. For an oil and filter change that was bought by me it was $38.47 just for labor. If I would've taken it to a dealership it would've been $10.00 in labor and that's it, avoid jiffy lube at all costs. Car dealerships are WAY cheaper than this joke of a company. I was charged for service that I didn't get and was told by the manager that he could give me no discount. Never again will I give my money to this joke of a company. read more

I used to come here when they were actually good but I'm now rethinking this.. I'm no longer coming here because the crew isn't very experienced with infinity g35's and my last visit wasn't up to par like they used to be. After pulling up they took a minute to greet me I was wondering where they were when it used be like they were ready for you as soon as you pulled in.. They weren't to friendly either, almost like I annoyed them because they weren't busy at the time and I kinda ruined that I guess i don't know. Then I asked can you reset my oil reminders and she told me she did but that wasn't true because the light was still warning me when I got back in my car. 5 days later I'm driving on the freeway, all I hear is a clicking noise and it got louder and louder, come to find out they didn't finish their job and didn't put back the plastic cover that covers the bottom of the engine. So yeah luckily things didn't go south there and jiffy lube from another store that I was closer to at the time had to kindly consider picking my car up for me and delivering it back to me within the hour. So my love for jiffy lube is still there just not with this store. I used to tip the crew for great work too but nope their loss. read more
