I went to this Jiffy Lube for an oil change before leaving on a long trip. Just 80 miles into my drive, my oil light came on. I immediately stopped at the nearest Jiffy Lube, where we discovered my car was leaving a trail of oil and had created a puddle in the few minutes I sat waiting in line. When they checked my car, there was no oil reading whatsoever. I was told the oil filter gasket was ripped, causing all the oil to leak out. Thankfully, there was no damage to my engine, and I was eventually able to continue my trip. When I returned to the original Jiffy Lube to explain what happened, the manager on duty was neither apologetic nor sympathetic and offered no helpful resolution. He seemed more focused on eating his breakfast burrito, which made the entire office smell, than addressing a potentially serious mistake. This could have caused major damage to my car or left me stranded during a long trip. I do not recommend this Jiffy Lube. I was able to call corporate and someone did call me back right away and gave me a refund for my oil change and set it up for a mechanic at the San Ramon Jiffy Lube to check out my car. read more

Brought my truck to this Jiffy Lube in Concord on 6/13/2025 because I was in a hurry (going on a 1,000 road trip the next day). They changed my oil and rotated the tires. The next morning there was oil leaking from my engine onto my driveway. I drove it back there immediately and had them look at it. They put it on the rack and told me I had a small oil leak when I brought it in the night before (they never mentioned this), and that everything was fine. I have never had an oil leak or oil stains in my driveway prior to this. I took it to my regular mechanic after the road trip. He called me right away and said "Let me guess, you had a Jiffy Lube change your oil". He said they screwed the oil plug in crooked, hence the reason for the oil leak. He drained what remaining oil was left, put in a new plug and had to clean the oil that leaked all over the skid plate and undercarriage, and put in another 6 qts of fresh oil. He said he sees 2-3 cars a month that had similar problems as result of faulty work from Jiffy Lube. I spent $156 at Jiffy Lube, then another $248 at my mechanic to fix their mistake. This was a complete disaster and I'm lucky the engine wasn't damaged. I should've taken pictures to post here to show the oil leak and my driveway. So here is the story of what they did to me and how they not helped me. I went a week ago to get my oil changed. after about 10 hours I noticed that the low oil pressure light went on and of and there was a burning smell, probably the oil that got on my exhaust from the leak I called them the next day and they told a manager would be calling me back.. no one called me back,and this is my only car! I lifted the car up on a Jack in my parking lot and noticed straight away that the oil drain was left open! I went and bought new oil and closed it by myself ,hoping that I didn't do any damage to it until I get it to a garage to check everything out after the holidays . First they try to charge you high prices for an oil change. Even when you tell them you want the low priced. Then after they didnt even screw on my oil tilter all the way so it was leaking. So when i brought it back "oh its been a while" like ok.? How am i supposed to know you guys didnt do your job correctly. Then after they tightened it, they filled it with the wrong oil. If your named "Jiffy Lube," shouldn't being fast be a part of your service? I went to this location to get my oil changed. Not a big deal as I've done it many times before. But I've noticed that service times have been slowly getting longer. And they seem to be fully staffed, so I think it's quantity over quality. I pulled in and there was a van in front already getting serviced. I pulled in at 9:45. (I know because I had a phone call that started right after I pulled in to the bay) I get off the phone and notice that it's been quite a while that I've been sitting here. 2 trucks pulled up behind me so I was stuck for the moment. I asked the service tech how much longer he thinks it'll take before I can move up and he says something to the effect of "The guy in the pit is being slow cause he's mad." I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I didn't press the issue. I sat there in my vehicular prison. I'm sure that leaving them the key and getting out would have been an option. And I've done it before. But this tech brought me in and kept me close to the bay door so I couldn't open my door enough to get out without possibly damaging it. So there's that. Finally, the van is done and pulls out. I get to move forward and get my oil changed. This is at 11:00 now. So I e waited in my truck for over an hour to finally get this done with. Part of me wanted to just drive through and leave. But the van driver decided to leave while getting serviced, so the tech just pulled up enough and left it there in the main driveway. They had a minor wait, which didn't bother me at all as it is the holiday weekend so I sat inside walked to get a coffee across the street and everything was done in about 30 minutes. The technician John was really nice and patient and very quick and clear with any information he needed to share. Not just with me, but with others waiting as well, you don't feel pressured or cheated. I would appreciate it someone from this location would contact me to refund my oil change and compensate me for my mechanic bill, or I will be there on my day off. My oil filter was removed and presented to me to try and upsell me an overpriced replacement. It was put back incorrectly and so loosely that it was damaged while driving- now there is oil all over my driveway, street, and workplace parking lot. So embarrassing and difficult and expensive to clean! By the time I got to the mechanic when the sun rose and I could see my car was DUMPING oil everywhere, my oil was completely empty. Came for a routine oil change. It's never just an oil change.. these types of places are like webmd for your car. They'll tell you 846 things wrong with it and if you don't fix it immediately your car has days to live. The guy at the desk talked me into getting a tire rotation for $30 bucks- okay, that's reasonable I thought. They offer rotations but not alignment (wtf). I should've known better than to trust an oil change place with my tires at all, guess that one's on me. Immediately after leaving I noticed my car violently shaking when going at or above 50mph (which it had never done prior) I thought it just needed a day or two to get used to the rotation. I ended up coming back in and they took a look at it again. Talked to one of the same guys from before- Initially very argumentative with me and explained that the shaking was because it needed an alignment. I asked if they could fix it for me for the inconvenience, but as mentioned earlier alignments are not something they offer. I left empty handed with a car that now had a new problem I had to pay to get fixed elsewhere. No coupon for free oil change, voucher or refund of any kind. Hell, I would've taken the $30 back for the initial rotation and probably been satisfied. But, nope. Nothing. Because of the service at this location, I will never step foot into another jiffy lube ever again. They've lost a loyal customer read more

I almost fell into the pit with my kids in the car cause it was 2 different directions and talking to me very aggressive! I'll start this review by saying I've been coming to jiffy lube for years ever since I first owned a car. They've been known to be quick, efficient and cost-effective. About 6 months ago I first took our Ford Escape here for an oil change, and afterward I noticed that two bolts on the brake fluid reservoir were not reconnected and the splash guard underneath the engine was not reconnected. Stuff happens, I figured maybe they had a new tech who didn't quite know the job. 6 months later I took the same car back, had them perform an oil change First I was greeted by a young man who, from experience, I believe to be hungover. Then the same problem happened; after the oil change the splash guard was not reconnected. On top of that while I was waiting for the oil change to be finished, me and the other customers could hear the techs arguing in the auto bay. We heard raised voices, some shouting and complaining, and overall general unprofessionalism. When I asked to speak to the manager it turns out that the manager was the young man who greeted me who appeared hungover, he proceeded to complain to me about his personnel problems, as if it were they were mine. I didn't ask for a discount or refund, they're still a business and they still did the job. But I will not be returning with my vehicles, I will pay more money to take them to the dealership next time because at least I know me and my vehicle are going to be treated with professionalism and respect. read more

$158 for an oil change? I usually take my cars to Walmart same cars from 51.00 to $65.00 There's no wonder why I quit coming here! NEVER AGAIN! From the moment you pull up, you know that you're in for a lube job! And I don't mean an "Oil change" Did I mention "NEVER AGAIN"? These guys ought to open up a used car dealership! With their tactics I'm sure they will do just fine! From the moment I pulled they insisted that it's going to be more than 5 quarts which I know it won't be because I change my vehicles oil often enough to be absolutely sure that it won't be more than 5 quarts. I'm not sure how they figured that it'll take more when they haven't even checked the oil level, one would think that if they told you after checking the oil level that would make some sense. DO NOT COME HERE. I came in just for an oil change and tire rotation and they severely fucked up my service. I came in and waited for over an hour and a half when they barely worked on my car for the remaining half an hour I was there. They took out my air filters first thing before working on my car and when I told them I didn't want to replace them w/ them, they put them back and left a mess in my car of all the things in my glove box all over the seat, the floor and on my dash. I don't fall for this sales tactic because air filters are easily changeable yourself. When I left, I noticed a wobbling noise from my car but I suspected that maybe it could be from the rotation. But it would not get any better for the following week and I checked the lug nuts, air pressure and etc. I finally noticed that 1 of my wheels have weights and the other 3 do not. I called them and spoke with the manager Steve. He insisted that "weights fall off every so often" but I had told him that this noise happened right after I had left. They do a "full tire inspection" but don't look to see/note if there were any weights on. I know for a fact that my car and wheels were was completely fine before this bullshit tire rotation service. It makes no sense for my weights to "suddenly" come off when I got my 2 front tires replaced and balanced in Sept 2023 and my original weights on the back wheels of my new 2020 car had no problems. The weights on the remaining tire are still adhered strong and show zero signs of being loose or falling off. They will fuck with your car just for you to come back and get serviced again. If I could give a negative star review, this place would be it. read more

People avoid spending hours at other shops to come here because they need quick service, we even pay more! Terrible customer service. I brought my aunt's car there for her because she was sick at home and she needed an oil change. While visiting family in the Bay Area I decided to take her car to get the oil change. I was only visiting for 3 days then fly back home to Los Angeles. The employees told me I couldn't wait in the car which I found to be a little unorthodox. 60 minutes after waiting in the waiting room an employee comes to me to tell me they're not able to change the oil because the don't have the correct sized tool. When I heard him say this I became irritated. I had a slight attitude in my voice but didn't become disrespectful. I will never come back to this location. read more

Last time I went here to get an oil change they offered me some new windshield wipers and I politely refused. They then offered to sell me some "NEW" windshield wipers at a discounted price to get me to give in and buy, which I did. They put on the "new" wipers which I figured were new so I didn't try them out till about 3 or 4 weeks later and when I did they barely scraped the water off of my windshield. They might have even been worse than my previous ones. Just yesterday I was driving on the freeway when the rubber on the driver side wiper breaks off and start whipping all over my windshield. Once I got home I was easily able to just rip the rubber off like it was a sour candy string. read more

However they are short handed and cannot provide the services that are included such as windows cleaned or air in the tires. It will state that the air in the tires and windows cleaned are completed on the receipt - how ever my car windows were Not cleaned air pressure not completed. Not a big concern...just do not state that this service has been completed when obviously it was not. SOLUTION: watch over the employee while your car in being serviced. It's June 5, 2021 and I just left this location. The shop had just opened and 8AM and I was the first and only vehicle in line. One of the employees directed me to drive into a bay and told me someone would be with me shortly. I waited in the lobby for about 15 min without any employees even acknowledging me. I saw one employee, who I believe was the manager or supervisor, hanging outside with another person in the parking lot with their phones out. Finally, the employee who first directed me into the bay acknowledged me again, told me it was just his 2nd day on the job and he would get an update for me. The employee who was outside fraternizing with his buddy finally came in and basically told me if I was in a rush, I could just go and come back. I was the first vehicle in without anyone else waiting. He didn't give me an explanation as to why it would take a long time for a simple oil change. The convenience of a drive thru oil change sometimes isn't worth the poor customer service. Stay away from this place. read more

Need an efficient and not time consuming place to get your car's oil changed? I suggest you stop by here. It's conveniently located by a Taco Bell and a Sam's Club. There's a bunch of parking too. Also, you don't need to park to get the change done. You have to drive up in one of the two lanes and things will be handled. What I love about this place is that the line is almost never long? Drive up until a worker tells you to stop, leave your keys on the car, and the worker will lead you inside the building. The mechanic is always very kind. They say hello, ask how you are, ask what you need done, and tell you that there's wifi, a bathroom, some coffee, magazines, etc. I'm instantly felt welcomed by the people here. They look genuinely happy that I have come here to get my car serviced. The wait for an oil change isn't long at all. They have about five seats inside. Fairly comfortable. Best thing is you don't have to sit in them for too long. Oil change is done between 5-15 minutes. It all depends on how much you need. I've gotten my windshield wiper fluid replaced here. I've had my windshields and windows cleaned here as well. They review what you ordered and ask you what time of oil you want. They also let you know what services they provided on the last visit and offer services that could be done also like replacing the windshield wiper fluid, cleaning out the vents, cleaning up stuff, etc. I pay around $35 dollars here thanks to coupons I've found online. I've payed $89 extra to get the dirty coolant drained from my car. I will say that my very first visit here wasn't good. They spilled oil on my engine so as I was driving I kept smelling something that smelled like something burning. Luckily, no damage was made to my car. The other five times visiting here I have received amazing help and services. I appreciate the efficiency, the kindness, etc from the mechanics. read more
