Saturday 9/12 1:45 pm Traveling to Wautoma from Chicago for…read morea contracted gig, my car suddenly started to run out of time, sputtering and making it unsafe to continue on the highway. I called Mavis to see if they had the capacity and was assured that they had time and "bays open." Upon arrival I was screamed at by a technician. After inspection, the auto technician told me that their diagnostic only showed that my driver side heated mirror was not working. I asked them if i could safely drive it and they said their diagnostic did not indicate it was unsafe. I drove it approximately 4 miles on I-39 before the engine ran afoul again. I got the impression that Mavis Technicians didn't want the work. They were rude and I believe they lied to me to get out servicing my auto, putting me, my passengers, and our contracted gig at risk. Last word, Midas has the car and it'll be ready Monday morning.

Service usually takes longer than expected. They don't check all the basics like other places do. Last time I was in they put soap in my windshield washer reservoir! Yeah... that happened. I heard the employees talking about being out of windshield washer fluid and needing to put soap in there and I thought "I must have heard that wrong because no one would ever do that". The next time I used my windshield wipers, a soapy film spread out over my entire windshield. I had to pull off the interstate and run it all out and put in fresh wiper fluid which thankfully I had with me. Stay far away!

I took my car to Integrity after their phone quote was a bit lower than other garages in Beloit…read more The guys at Integrity--Lee, in particular--worked to find ways to lower the cost for me, including cleaning and fixing old parts rather than replacing them. The other shops wanted to get me for that part, and extra labor. I had a very tight time frame to get the repairs done, and Integrity told me they would meet my schedule. The problem ended up taking longer than expected, but I never felt like the shop was running me around. Integrity was very communicative with me, and even gave me a loaner car for the evening so I could buy groceries and supplies for my upcoming road trip. After the work was done, they double- and triple-checked my car with a road test, and actually made some adjustments after the test, without any extra fees. Then they tested the fix again. Lee made sure that I didn't leave his shop unsatisfied, and although I'm certain I was one of their less agreeable customers, I am enthused with their performance and service. I never felt like they were screwing me around, and their "multi-point inspection" came to my phone online, complete with pictures of my car for every problem they found. I would happily recommend Integrity to anyone in need of repairs in the area. P.S. Their waiting lounge is quite comfortable, and not depressing and old like most other shops.

Super odd when I've bought these at this location before, but whatever I guess ... so I bought the same item but in a different flavor which oddly WAS in the system. I asked why they couldn't just sell me the other flavor since it's the same price and they said they aren't allowed. Okay ... fine I guess ... so take it off the shelf. Which is why I suggested "hey, you guys should take that off the shelf then, there's a whole row of it" the lady clerks response was "AS I SAID, we aren't allowed to touch it so we can't take it off the shelf" her attitude is why I'm writing this review. Why am I being treated like shit cuz of your lack of common sense? As I walked out they laughed at me ... huh ? Unreal.
