I have been taking my cars to Tire Tracks here in Rockford since 1995, and i can't say enough good…read morethings about them. Richard DiBenedeto (Ricky) just finished installing a complete strut assembly on both the left and right sides of my 2007 Hyundai Entourage that has 244K miles on her.. She has only known Tire Tracks for all her regular maintenance and other needed care, i.e., brakes, rotors, tires, batteries, and also today, a starter. The mechanics are knowledgeable and always do a safety check before they release my car to me. The last time i had a tire losing air i brought the car in, Ricky brought the tire out to the waiting room to me and showed me just how bad it was. Both rear tires were completely threadbare on the the inside tread. Had he not shown me, one of two things might have happened, a) i'd have blown a tire somewhere on the the road and no telling what might have happened, and b) by explaining what was wrong and what was needed,, he sold two new tires that day too. Can't praise him and the entire crew at Tire Tracks enough. Thanks to you all. Karen Gillespie

And everyone else says they "beat the price" of other people, yet why was it $200 to just air out my car???? Did they get my car working? Yes, for a day or two. And now it's back to messing up again (not their fault). For $200 you'd think they'd have replaced a part or something, but nope. Also, they were supposed to call before they did any work and let us know how much it would be, and they did not, they just did it and expected us to pay, which was BS. I am tired of these repair shops overcharging me for repairs that don't even fix my car. I mean, $200...to dry out my car? Really? I get charging me like $40, but $200????

Recently I went in for air, complaining one tire was consistently reading down on my dashboard. I was concerned! The worker found a nail in it. I was just going to get it fixed then got to thinking these tires are original and have 60,000 miles on them. Maybe I better buy all new tires?! I started talking to the sweet manager and because of their past kindnesses to me, I gave them the sale! They put them right on. I didn't even have an appointment! So far very happy with my new tires, feels like I'm driving on air. I do recommend this place and their workers!!

I went to the location at 3617 W State Street to purchase 2 tires. I was told that they didn't…read morehave the tires needed for my rear, but they had 2 that were cm off and wouldn't affect the ride of my car. Due to time constraint I took the two tires ($498) and ordered the correct ones to be installed upon shipment. But,... Before any of that could happen, I left with two new rear tires and went upon my way. My TPM light was still on, but I figured it would reset soon, then 15m on 90 exprwy my Red Tire Pressure light came on. As I looked for the closest exit, BAM my tire blew. Yes the tire I'd just purchased blew completely off as I was travelling on expressway. I had slowed down luckily, but it could have been a disaster. I called the location and spoke with Clementine. He said I must have done something for the tire to blow. That is unusual. I stated that no I did not hit anything or run over anything and that my light was on right after I left the location. He said I would have to come in to have the car and the tires checked. I did so following day. He showed me my tire and stated that my alignment could have caused it. I stated that was highly unlikely that an alignment would rub a new tire to the point of blowing in 20 min. He stated there was nothing he could do and that he wasn't refunding me. I had initially intended to have the tire replaced, but because of the despicable treatment and the continued accusations that I had been responsible for the tire blowing out. I stated I wasn't comfortable doing business with them and wanted my original tire and spare. He stated he wouldn't do that and I said that the tire has a warranty on it at least for 48hrs, even though I did not purchase the additional warranty. Finally I asked him to call regional manager. He did so. He waited on 4 people after hanging up from the call, and finally came over to state that he would refund me and replace the tires. I do not recommend this location and warn anyone about their practices. I do not believe you get what you pay for. I don't believe my alignment was checked. I don't believe my tire was installed properly. Beware.
