I've gone to Jiffy Lube for years and years with all my vehicles always got signature service loved the convenience and the affordability and be able to be topped off and get service when needed.. new to the area.. Went to this location with a Vehicle I just got for signature service oil change.. came back to let them know I could not get the radiator cap off, and that the overflow was low and that I had to add water and if they could give me just a squirt of coolant.. the new gal, Megan rolled her eyes huffed and puffed demeaned me for putting water in the overflow refused service told me I needed to go to a multi point check place to get flushed before they could help me.. she was so rude and embarrassed me.. I'll never go back to this location again if I ever go back to Jiffy Lube, I am so upset! the girl was so unprofessional and the service was terrible (that I didn't even receive). I said I will never be back. She said that's fine. :( read more

The staff was nice but there is nothing jiffy about this location. I came in for a conventional oil change, that's all. Jiffy lube famously advertised their 15 minute oil changes on their website. I waited 75 minutes for my car to be seen, and an additional 60 minutes once they began working on my car. I understand waiting the 75 minutes as it is first come first serve, however, it took a whole 60 minutes of them working on my car for a basic oil change. When my car was finished and I went to pay, they ended up performing services and charging things without my knowledge including tire rotation, replacing air filter, and replacing windshield wipers. Nobody asked me if I wanted these services performed and did not tell me they were going to do them. They did not have my consent or authorization to complete these services, only the oil change I requested. It added an extra $100 to the total bill. I brought this to their attention, and the manager removed the additional charges. The manager was very nice, and the staff was honestly nice as well. My feedback though is that a two+ hour wait for an oil change is egregious and to perform services and charge consumers for services without their knowledge or consent is predatory. read more

I am so grateful for the excellent service, especially from Andrew and Jacob. They were such nice guys, and like many previous reviewers have mentioned, they didn't try to rip me off with all sorts of extra stuff that I didn't need. In fact, I overhead Andrew talking another customer out of an unnecessary "add on", and he did the same for me! He even found a coupon that knocked about $20 off my bill. I appreciated his friendly spirit and honesty! Will definitely be back! I wish the waiting room was a little bit nicer, but hey, there wasn't anything wrong, and it was clean. Very quick and efficient service. Arrived with 2 or 3 people ahead of me and was estimated at an​ hour and15-minute wait. That wait was very accurate. The staff was very friendly and didn't hard sell any extra recommendations even though I did add to other things on besides​ the oil change. Price was fairly decent. To make a long story short, I pulled in for an oil change on my lunch at 11:30, was told at 12:23 it would ANOTHER 45 minutes...walked outside to see wtf was taking so long busted them parlaying with a RANDOM vehicle, so I just stood watching them and 8 minutes later, my vehicle was ready to go! Wow, not sure what is happening with this place. I had a poor experience the last time I was there but decided it may have been a one off. I was wrong I went with a friend to get their oil changed recently. It wasn't busy at all so that was promising. Once we walked in, things got shady. We asked how much the oil change would cost to which he quoted 70-90 depending on types of oil. Imagine our surprise so we decided not to proceed but the employee stopped us and said he could do it for $50. We shared that the dealer is only $35. We said no thank you. He then said he'll do it for $19. At that point we knew something was not right. Business is that bad! Ask yourself how can you trust this type of place with this type of interaction. So I'm a firm believer a happy customer is far less likely to say something good than is an unhappy customer to say something negative. So having said that... my review is HIGHLY a comparison/contrast of two jiffy lube locations. The first, at 113 E Van Buren, welcomed my arrival with grumpy dismissal. They seemed upset I arrived. Two of the employees appeared to have been angry with one another. I was prepared to wait as long as an hour if their attitude was better. I left, went around the corner to jiffy on Dysart, and was welcomed in with a door held open, advised a new pot of coffee was coming out right away, and thanked me for my visit. The two locations only about 1/2 mile from each other... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the location on Dysart. As an owner of two cars, all of my business is finished at the Van Buren location. read more

Wife took car in for oil change: 1. Did oil change although $43.95 2. Replaced cabin air filter which I believe did not need to be done 3. Recommended service (which our mechanic @ Mike's Automotive, Avondale, verified needed to be done): radiator hose, front engine strut. Note: This service was indicated on official receipt. 4. Recommended service (which Did NOT need to be done): brakes and rotors. My mechanic said the rotors were FINE and the pads still had 50%! NOTE: This is the recommended service ONLY written on a separate paper but NOT included in the official receipt. Summary: PROS: 1. Work performed done to our satisfaction 2. Additional work recommended prices are competitive 3. Noticed additional work that needed to be performed CONS: 1. Get a second opinion from a mechanic you trust for any additional recommended work on official receipt 2. DO NOT trust any recommendations given you on a separate piece of paper Unfortunately this is the state of automotive repair.. This has become the norm. Terrible service. I would give them zero stars if I could. Got an oil change from this franchise and then my car (with less than 11,000 miles) started leaking oil immediately after. I usually take my car to the dealership but made a convenient decision to bring it here. A very bad choice on my part. Called the manager to complain, and he said I could bring the car back but would have to wait in line for them to check the car. I already waited in line for the first oil change (with resulting oil leak)...and I have to wait again? Possibly longer?? As a busy professional, I don't have time nor patience for this lack of customer service. I am now taking my car back to my dealership to see if damage has occurred as a result of Jiffy Lube's action. If so, I will be escalating my complaints to executive management. The reviews I read prior to choosing which JL to use were not at all favorable for this location. I called one in Surprise, but was not impressed with the employee who answered the phone. She took a while to give me an estimate on what it would cost to replace my fuel filters on a 2018 RAM 3500 truck w/Diesel engine. So then I tried to go to the JL off of Dysart Rd, but they didn't have the fuel filter in stock. So I went to this Jiffy Lube off of Van Buren in Avondale, and was quickly greeted by Sam. I explained to Sam that I needed my fuel filters replaced, and asked how long it would be. He hustled to check if they had those filters...and yes, they did...and let me know I'd be waiting 45-60min. before they could get to me. He was very accurate with his estimate, and they competed the work in two hours after my arrival. Those filters are difficult to change out. They offered a discount for my AAA membership, saving me about $40. Great service by Sam, and followed up with care by the cashier, Miguel. My experience with this station makes me want to praise their great attitudes, and attention to detail taking care of my customer needs. read more

I was disappointed at the experience I had today. Typically it's always pleasant (I've been going there for years). The employee completely freaked out on me after I brought it to his attention that he didn't reset my censor or air up my tires. If he did his job, I wouldn't have to ask him to fix it. I was not rude or condescending in any way. The way he spoke to me was utterly disgusting. I told him I had the right to ask a question about my service. He yelled at me to "have a great day" in a sickening tone in response. I've never been treated that way at any service station. That guy needs anger management. read more

With just moving here from WI 6 months ago the service person was very informative as to the differences to expect with change in climate such as the battery dying much more quickly, which they tested as well. Did not feel pressured to purchase extra things although they did review what was needed in my car which had been overdue, such as two filters needing to be changed. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe bad management. I called in and gave my vehicles model. They quoted me a price for the oil I would need. I arrived at opening 8AM & was there till 9:30AM. My car was pulled into the garage and I was asked to input some of my information. Upon doing so he had said what oil my car would take & the the oil they had quoted me they didn't have in store. BUT what they could do is offer me an 81$ oil change for a full synthetic. I left the store irritated to go somewhere else to get my oil change done & I received a call from them halfway down the road that they forgot to put my filter in. I will never ever visit this location in the future or any Jiffy Lube at this point due to even their pricing is ridiculous. read more

This place is very honest. They are pretty busy so the wait is usually about an hour, but you don't feel like you are being ripped off.

I had a coupon for $19.95 oil change. Pulled up and manager greeted me. I showed him the coupon right up front. He said that the coupon was for synthetic blend oil but that my car needed full synthetic. I told him I've never needed full synthetic before even at dealer. He backed off immediately. There was one car ahead of me. I went to the waiting room. There were two people there. One told me he had been there an hour. His was the car ahead of mine. There seemed to be plenty of staff there, especially a female tech with a surly attitude. They finally began working on my car and the surly one called me over to a computer to get my info. She then told me the bill would be $90.00+. I pointed to the coupon for $19.95. She said the coupon was for 5 quarts of oil but my car took 6. SEVENTY DOLLARS FOR AN EXTRA QUART OF OIL??? She couldn't maintain the scam and called the manager over. He gave me the same story about the extra quart of oil. I was having none of it for an extra $70.00 for one quart of oil. When he saw I was getting outraged he backed off. I got out of there for around $32.00. I was okay with that because of tax, extra quart of oil, etc. I was just happy to leave but it was a very negative experience. PS: All this took about an hour. There is no more jiffy at JiffyLube. I have had very positive experiences at this location. Super nice service technicians who are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Is it a little pricey for an oil change? Yes, but I am paying for the speed and convenience which is worth it to me. They have taken great care of my car and topped off fluids between oil changes for free as promised.
