I usually go to the Jiffy Lube on 60th n Bell but they were out of my oil so they recommended i go to this one. First of all... BOTH Jiffy Lubes have very nice staff! They are friendly and not pushy. This one was very kind to their customers ahead of me...you can tell they care and seem, to know the regulars. This was my first time going to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change based upon friend referrals in the past, and this location didn't disappoint one bit. They were transparent from the beginning and up-front with the pricing before doing anything. That says a lot about their integrity when many auto maintenance and repair places lack it. I also really appreciate that they check other aspects for free besides just doing the oil change to help with upkeep of the vehicle. Just went here recently to get my oil changed. They also recommended an air filter change which I wasn't surprised by at all! The prices are reasonable. They honored a coupon from their website via my mobile phone (didn't need to print) and helped me save an extra $25 off the bill. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and everything's running well. Staff was friendly and chatty, talking me through any questions I had, making recommendations and just making small talk to help pass the time. Will definitely be back again! read more

Showed up mid day on a Saturday- short 10/min wait before I entered the bay. Jacob- was very kind and polite, got me checked in. I pulled into the bay- with the direction of another employee. A 3rd employee Charles came over and talked to me about filters and additional services etc. Pricing seemed a little high- but with a coupon it became a little more reasonable. They checked wipers (which I needed a rear wiper), tires, fluids, filter (did not check one inside car). Did not tell me if anything was low. Or if they added anything else. Spent about 30 minutes here and $120 for a rear wiper and full synthetic oil change. My only hesitations are- 1.) they were really shaking the car- I mean REALLY shaking the car while tightening stuff. This made me very uncomfortable. Not sure why they needed to do that so aggressively. 2.) seemed a little disorganized everyone hopping around to each car doing this and that. I am sure this is to attempt to be quicker with services but didn't make me feel reassured that it was being done properly. 3.) didn't show oil level after or before until I asked them. Also no info on what they did. In my opinion Cars are too expensive to have someone rushing and possibly making silly mistakes. Came for an oil change, they messed up my skid plate and it was dangling off within 2 mins of leaving. I came back for them to fix it and they said "They only had 1 screw in my skid plate" but fixed it and fully acknowledged it was their fault. 3 days later my skid plate falls off AGAIN as i'm driving to sedona worst oil change ever. can't believe i paid over $100 for it! read more

Been using this location on all my trucks for few years. Had oil changed there last time, pulled in this time the New Manager of 3 months said they can't change oil on trucks with lift. They told me my antilock light was on because of low brake fluid. Then after replacing my brake fluid they said it didn't fix it and I essentially would have to go to a real place to know what was wrong. They charged $110 for labor and $50 for parts to do an oil change and brake fluid swap. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My wife has been taking her car to Jiffy Lube at 6841 W. Bell Rd. in Arizona for oil changes for at least the past 2 years. Last week she needed the oil changed, but they were closed. So, she decided to take her car to Valvoline instead. The attendant at Valvoline told her that the oil pan screw/plug had been inserted incorrectly & was cross-threaded. When she returned to Jiffy Lube a day later, the manager took pictures of the screw/plug & underneath the car, and then forwarded them to the corporate office. We received a call from someone from the C/O today (my cell phone said it was from "Light Russ"). The man whom we spoke to told us that they (Jiffy Lube) did not cause the problem, & said that the pictures are evidence of that. I cannot follow his logic; can you? Thus, he denied any wrong-doing whatsoever on behalf of Jiffy Lube & refused to correct the problem. Of course, there is no way for us to prove that it was their fault, BUT if they hadn't caused the problem, why didn't someone at Jiffy Lube tell my wife that there was a problem with the plug at the time they had serviced her car? Years ago I had the same thing happen to me by a Jiffy Lube in California. I should have learned my lesson back then. Now, I know better. My advice to you: spend the extra bit of money & have your oil changed by a reputable auto mechanic, not an oil change attendant. read more

We picked up our truck from the auto mechanic and the oil light was on. They told us not to worry about it but that didn't sit well with my husband, they tried and tried to figure out why it wouldn't turn off, 2 oil changes, clean the indicator, nothing worked. When we left there unhappy the engine now had a knocking sound it also didn't have before... we took it to Jifffy Lube they had an 1-1/2 wait but suggested 67th and Bell location and we went there, no waiting and when we pulled in right away 2 young men approached and immediately started asking how long the knocking was going on... we explained we had just left the auto mechanic with this knocking and the check oil light on. My husband was praying the knocking wasn't the engine!! They took it into the bay and one of the amazing young men helping us looked into the knocking and had 2 others listen too, turns out it was not the engine thank goodness it was just a loose hose or something like that... they spent a good 30 minutes checking everything!! When they first took it in the young man had said he could put some I think he called it "engine honey" in just to see if that would help but when he realized it was not the engine knocking he said he didn't want to charge us for the engine honey if it wasn't needed but we were happy to have him put it in since it couldn't hurt!! Long story short it was only 25 bucks for all the testing they did and the engine honey. The young man knew we had just spent almost 2000 on other repairs at the auto mechanic so I appreciated his honesty and not wanting us to pay for the engine honey if we didn't really need it... after we left there the check oil light never came back on!!!! The peace of mind they gave my husband was priceless!! Outstanding service, outstanding people, I have and will continue to recommend this Jiffy Lube to everyone!!!! read more

Their technician Trevor put my brakes on backwards and they still charged me for the service even though they had to pay my real mechanic to fix everything they messed up. Sent me on my way with no packed bearings and my tire started the day after I left. I was going on a road trip and was delayed a week because they messed up my van so much and couldn't fix it themselves my real mechanic had to order a bunch of parts. Their corporate office didn't seem to care about the time I lost or the serious accident I could have been in seeing as they, in their words, "did everything the law required of them to do." Terrible customer service. This situation could have ended a lot worse due to their incompetence and they don't seem to care because they got lucky this time. read more

I watched the employee quickly dump 8 quarts into my engine. He did it so fast the oil did not finish draining from the container. They then put the caps back on the used oil containers and put them off to the side. Not the trash can. They must drain the left overs to get extra oil. It was so obvious what he was doing. It was mobile 1. When I got home I checked my oil level. Botttom of the oil stick. Next day went to checker auto for a can of mobile 1. My expense. Few day later. I have an oil leak. 4 weeks later I had to add 2 mor cans of oil. Leak getting worse.. Underside of truck covered in oil. Than a burning oil smell on my exhaust. After reading a few reviews. One star, I will not let them ever work on my truck again. Get my oil changed at grease monkey. I waiting to find out what went wrong at Jiffy lube. read more

The oil change was very over priced at $70.99 for a few quarts of blended oil plus filter and $30.99 for a cabin air filter. At this point I was very pressed for time so went ahead anyway. At the end of the oil change my battery was dead. When asked why my battery was dead they offered no explanation. They jumped it and it was good to go. My problem with it is that with these premium prices I expect attentive, competent service. If my battery died because of something you did I expect you know what happened. Every time a battery is run like this it is stressful on the alternator and reduces the life of the battery. If you want to pay these premium prices take your vehicle somewhere better. I think I may have just found my new oil change garage! I've had some bad experiences at other Jiffy Lubes in the past. Yes they are fast, but I've always been a little worried that the servicemen there are too concerned with rushing through the job that they may miss something. I have been going to another service station down the street for years, but this morning they were just too busy so I decided to see if Jiffy Lube could fit me in. I pulled up and they were able to get me started right away. One mechanic took my keys, while another one escorted me to the office. I talked to the manager and got everything going. I was in for an oil change and full tune-up, which included spark plugs (16 of them!), new air filter, cabin filter, windshield wipers and fluids. I expected to wait a few hours. They were done in just a little over one hour. I couldn't believe it! Now, was I worried that they may have gone too fast? Not at all, because the manager talked me through everything and I actually watched as FOUR of their guys worked under the hood. The price was good, the service was fast, but what really stood out was how courteous every single employee was. When my car was done, an employee walked me out to my car, where another employee had it waiting. Good stuff. Oh - and they have free coffee and a very clean restroom in the waiting area! read more

Don't do it! There have been major scams through out this chain recently. I've done biz with this chain for over a decade. I was shocked. They started working on my car with out the standard customer approval and financial agreement required by law. That is totally illegal! I told them not to touch my car anymore & give me back my keys. They had already drained my oil. They put fresh oil in for free and told me the store # so I could file a complaint. (1191). Well the best way to know what a place is like is when something goes wrong. I took my car in, and something happend with the radiator cap. It lost all of the coolant and this burnt my water pump and other parts. I called them and they immediately called my car repair place. Terrible. I called and was told the oil change would be $36.95, sounds great. But then you get there and your wiper blades are worn out, "we can do buy one get one free", sounds great. "Your air filter is trashed", go ahead and change it. What they did was charged me for both wiper blades, overpriced air filter ($33.99) which is $7.99 at o'reilly's, and then $25 for labor! So what was expected to be a $36.95 oil change turned into $108.06. That is the last time they scam me. They're lucky I just got off an overnight 12 hour shift and didn't have the energy to argue. Wow, I have been taking my fleet car to this Jiffy Lube for several months, until they told me they couldn't rotate the tires any more because a lug nut was stripped, also one lug nut was lost! I took it to Ford dealership today and they found 8 lug nuts stripped..(hmmm, since jiffy lube was the only one to rotate the tires, I wonder how that happened) Won't go back again!! read more

Wow biggest rip off ever. I used to go to one in California and it only cost 20 dollars for an oil change. I told them when I got here I just wanted the cheapest one..the guy said it was $43.95, and then he asked if I wanted the same as last time.. I said yea sure.. And then when I was checking out I had a 10 dollar coupon.. And the total price came out to $67 including the coupon? Are you kidding me.... Always feel like I overpay but I guess that's just convenience. The staff is always nice and you can always google for a coupon. Here are a few annoyances with this location...one of the service features is the wiping of the windows. It leaves such a disgusting haze, I swear they use a dirty cloth. I request that my windows are not cleaned. To no avail, my windows are always wiped. I wind up having to get my car professionally washed afterward to remove the grime their dirty cloths leave. Bummer. Second issue- bolts were not tightened on skid plate after oil change which led me to have to pull off the side of the road and hobble to repair station to get this fixed. I called this location to let them know this step had been missed but the person I spoke with argued with me about it. My car is brand new and had had one oil change- no one else has touched the car besides the factory. Anyway, it was not a huge deal and didn't warrant and argument. Just be careful with your work and make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. Easy enough. read more
