I have had many great experiences at this location, but today was the worst customer service I have seen in many years. Brandon was rude, condescending, and just plain did not know his job. It started when I asked about pricing and discounts for coupons and veterans. He could not clearly explain anything about the pricing other than scold me for wondering why an oil change with a coupon was 69 dollars, but the 3 extra quarts of oil would cost more than $75. There are too many details to go over all the rude comments and his inability to respectfully discuss prices. After my service, he said he would not give me an itemized list of the charges until after I paid. He continued being nasty, we went back and forth a few times about what the charges were. I asked him if I could speak to a manager or another service rep. After a bit of back and forth, it came down to him telling me he is in charge of the store and there are no other employees there. Then he went on to tell me that he charged me for something I did not ask for...tire rotation. Again, he made up some stuff about how since I have had it done in the past, I must have wanted it done now. I had been extremely clear I wanted an oil change and was specifically looking for the one in a coupon I had received. Finally, he agreed to subtract the $10 for tire rotation, but the price only dropped $5.00. When I questioned him about it, again, very rudely he reminded me that the other $5 was tax and everybody has to pay that. Really? So when you subtract $10 from the subtotal, you have to add $5 in tax? In other words, he just lied and then tried to make it sound like there was a good excuse. I just paid the ransom and left. One last thing, because this review could go on for pages... When a customer does not understand pricing clearly and thinks what you told them does not make sense so they ask for an explanation, raising your voice and bellowing "I JUST TOLD YOU" is never, ever, ever the correct response. No, there is no pricing posted in the store that could explain how he got to the total that came up. If he could have just explained that extra $75, it would have made things so much easier. read more

My dad and I tried to schedule two appointments online -one for each vehicle we own- at Noon and 1pm for oil changes. We only recieved an email confirming the noon appointment. When we called the next morning they said both appointments were confirmed. We arrived on time for the first appointment. The man working the front (Willy, I think?) was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately all the information we put into the online system didn't transfer to the system they use on site so it took almost half an hour to get 'registered'. We were told dad's car would go in first and mine second so he would get a call in about an hour to let him know his was done and mine should be ready shortly there after. Well, an hour later I get a call that they "mixed up" the vehicles and mine is ready. We waited about half an hour before heading back over figuring dad's car should be getting close to done by then. WRONG! When we arrived dad's car hadn't been started yet. We literally watched the guys see us come in and run over to dad's vehicle to start working on it. We still waited an hour for his oil change. With appointments at noon and 1 we should have been done no later than 2(ish). It was after 3:30 before we got both vehicles back. They did give us $25 off each service, but one actually apologized and even with the money off the service felt over price for what we recieved. read more

took it in later in the day with grinding breaks sat for a good hour or more then was told no sound and I had good breaks ok seems fishy but I left by the time I got home grinding sound was back! went to another place for fix and low and behold my key lock is missing had to go back for it and sure enough it was there after having to hear the front guy tell me they would have called me if they had it and they run a clean ship! My brakes are now better than ever. 2020 Chevy Tahoe, 600 plus dollars for full brake job and still my brakes make noise. Dealership says I need brakes, went back to location and was told nothing is wrong. I will not go back but I will let people know to just deal with Dealership and avoid places like this. Needed an oil change so decided to try brakes plus, it was a fair price, and didn't take too long!

After having my brakes done, it seemed like I was driving someone else's car. They felt spongy and like they didn't stop like they used to. It kind of slid instead of grabbing and was very scary. Driving with toddlers in the car I wanted to be safe. I called Brakes Plus and they kindly looked at it for me no issues and got me in super fast no charge. Lana called and told me they had a master brake specialist look at it for me. He is super picky and detailed. She told me they didn't find anything. I felt like I was going crazy. I appreciated them checking. I paid to get the upgraded ceramic pads. I was dumbfounded why it felt so scary and unsafe. Maybe the brand of pads? Lana said they would always be there if I wanted they would look at it again. Driving home it was my car again. No more spongy feeling and they stopped the way they should. My husband and his brother who is quite handy thinks that maybe air was in the line. They said they didn't find any issues. Maybe they can look at it and the air sneaks out? Update...had these brakes a little over a year. I don't ride my brakes hard and don't drive aggressive. These brakes are junk. Having a hard time braking and they feel warped when I press on the brake. They have a limited warranty but I won't bother using it. Going to spend the money and have them done correctly at Toyota. When I had them put on a year ago...it Literally it took them THREE visits to get them done "right" with the last being with my husband having to make an appearance, as well as for Toyota taking pics because it was such a shoddy job. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic shop in my entire life! If I could add ten more stars I would. Usually I'm so much more aware when making a large purchase but was obviously off my game when I bought a car private party that needed more work than I first was aware. I made an appointment at Brakes Plus and was thankful for their free inspection. From the person running the counter to the techs I came into direct contact with everyone was awesome. Bryan took me out of the bay to show me all that needed fixed and tackled what he could during my appointment. I was given an estimate of other things needed and I was able to schedule an appointment for the rest quickly. I was given an estimated time to get things done and it was pretty accurate. I loved that you had the option to stay and wait, leave or use their shuttle service. The lobby has a small tv to watch, tables and chairs as well as a small soda machine and coffee. Everyone was upfront and honest and no surprises sprung. They even test drove the car when done to make sure it was running better. Lastly when I came I. For my following appointment they said hello to me instantly along with my name in a room full of other customers. They remembered and that meant a lot. I was at the KIA dealership recently getting some work done when they mentioned my front brake pads were low. I didn't want to pay the dealership prices and had remembered my brother in law told me about Brakes Plus, so I decided to check them out. I was greeted by Albert who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the entire process to me in great detail. I decided to get the premium pads which came with a lifetime warranty. I had never heard of pads before with a lifetime warranty for replacement via normal wear. I also got a brake fluid change, alignment and oil change. The oil change was free with a promotion so it was a little under $400 for all that work which is extremely affordable. It probably would've been close to double at the dealership. Albert took me into the shop as well to to do a visual inspection of the pads prior to replacing. They also showed me the calibration settings for the alignment prior and after the adjustments which was nice. When I came to pick up my car Wayne helped me checkout and was super friendly as well. I called because I was struggling changing a break light today (they were close to my house & I've heard they do more than just brakes) and to my surprise Wayne answered right away and said "come on in and we will take care of it". I went in right away and was greeted immediately, he took the car to the back right away and changed the bulb for me! They didn't even charge me since I already had the bulb!!!
