Went in for an oil change about 6 weeks ago. The following day my skid plate fell off. A neighbor attempted to remove the skid plate and gave me the remaining screws holding it on. I went back to Jiffy Lube the following morning. Jonathan, the manager, was incredibly condescending and explained to me that a Honda uses clips, not screws when I handed them over. I explained the screws are what were removed by my neighbor and if they were incorrect, then the technician was responsible. He scoffed. After talking to me like I'm an imbecile (I'm an attorney; I don't need someone to slowly sound out each syllable when speaking to me), Johnathan allegedly fixed the problem. A few weeks later I noticed a massive oil stain in my garage. I took my car back and had to deal with Johnathan again. He told me he's not sure what that stain is when I showed him the attached picture stating "I wish I had all the answers but I don't and we may never know..." making sure to speak very slowly and again sounding out each syllable to ensure I could understand. He "retorqued" something in case there was a leak. He assured me my car was not low on oil. Today, my skid plate fell off again. This is the third time I had to drive over there and once again, deal with Johnathan. He told me the bolt/hardware/screw he replaced on my car was broken and he "doesn't know how I drive" so he's unsure how to fix the problem. When asked if he possibly "torqued" the screw too much and stripped the bolt since torquing seems to be one of their issues, he told me he could quote me the cost of new skid plate. I have gone to this location for over six years and I will never be coming back or using another Jiffy Lube. I came in this morning for a quick oil change before work. The first employee was nice enough but said I couldn't get an oil change because they didn't have my filter. He said the shipment comes in on Monday. I asked for a top-off so I could drive the 60 miles to work and back. He said no and didn't even look under my hood. So, I went to the 7Eleven next door and got 2qt of high mileage Pennzoil. I went back to the Jiffy Lube to ask if it was the right kind and how much I needed, and that's when Eli started yelling at me that "ANY OIL CAN GO IN YOUR CAR!" After that I did say he was being a d*CK and he just started waving at me with a weird smile on his face. I said, "What are you doing?" And he replied, "I'm doing what a d*CK does!" I immediately had a panic attack because of PTSD from my abusive ex, which I am in intensive DBT therapy for. All I wanted was to know some info and be on my way! I am also disabled and had a very hard time trying to get the oil into my car myself. I even cut my hand trying to get the cap off. That was difficult when I got to work, I work in childcare. When I was leaving, the guy in the first picture, Malachi said he would "Shoot me" and "I'm packing! Hold on I'll get it!" , then was walking to his car I guess to get his gun?! Fortunately Nick stopped him. He called my 15 year old daughter "Trash" for sticking up for her mother. Thanks for that child abuse. I usually get my oil changed here. It seems a bit expensive but I'm not sure how much it is at other places to compare. I went today and Noah and Malachi were helping me. If it's slow, several guys will work on the car at once to get people in and out so I think Malachi was the main person working on the car and Noah was the one dealing with customer service stuff like asking what I needed, if I had any questions, etc. I hardly interacted with Malachi, but Noah was super friendly and answered any questions I had. A lot of times when I go to a car place, the guys I have to deal with are short or talk to me like I'm ignorant because I'm female, but I didn't have that experience today! I have had my vehicle for 5 yrs now and never got it back from an oil change with the oil light on for the first time. the oil itself was fine and full but I noticed that the under panel of my car was put on wrong. I brought it back to this shop and was given a story about sensors and wires which was incorrect. I asked the mechanic to the panel and put it back on properly. you could the panel over lapping the bottom of my bumper instead of inserted properly with in the the bumper. He told me I have oil pressure problems or oil sensor wires were crossed. That was never an issue any other time I brought the vehicle in. he rushed me out and didn't botherEd fixing the panel. Went in for my routine oil change, I've been coming to this location for over a year now. They've always been great, never had any problems. When I got there an old bald white guy told me that I was very early and I wasn't due for another 4000 miles. Which was odd because the guys always give me a due at X mileage sticker (which I was at), and it had been about 3-4 months so it made sense that I was due for one. I explained this to him and he said "I don't know where you got that sticker", it had a Jiffy lube logo on it. I asked him to check the dipstick anyway and he told me I was definitely in the safe zone. I figured you can't argue with arrogance so I left. I go home and check it myself a couple days later and there was barely any oil on the stick, not even close to the 3 dots. Bald guy is either a rude liar or just terrible at his job. Also asked the girl working there with him if they can put air in my tires. She rolled her eyes and moped over to fill up one tire only then she got on her phone. Took my business to vavoline and they said I was very low, they also went ahead and checked all my fluids, battery and tire pressure without asking. great guys, very professional, I highly recommend them. I got an online quote from their website for $99. This was emailed to me and said it was good for 5 days. When I went in, they said it would be $179.99. Jonathan, the manager, said my car needs a more expensive fluid. I advised him that I entered all of my car info and they knew that information for the quote. I showed him the email quote. He said "AI isn't perfect, it should be $179.99". I said "whatever, just do it" and he replied that if I want, they'll put the improper fluid in for $99.99. Went for a simple state inspection. Rep said it would be 20 minutes. Rep took my car keys, but failed to get my name. I went to get food. Came back after 25 minutes expecting to probably wait a little bit longer. Another rep comes out and asks for a 2014 Nissan. I have a 2019. Before I could ask if he misread, he walks off. I figured it's another customer. My mistake. 20 minutes later I ask to see if my car is being worked on. It's not because I accidentally gave him the old insurance card. I show him the updated one but it's now going to be another long wait. I'm disappointed in the lack of communication and service level considering the original rep looked at me 3 or 4 times without informing me what they needed. Horrible horrible awful customer service and general service. The old man that's doing all the inspections was EXTREMELY rude and gave me ugly looks from the moment he saw me. I waited an hour in line, which I don't mind doing, but when I got to the front the man was so foul to me. First, he's yelling at me to pull around (the line was formed by the side of the building, and people were going into the garage from both sides, so I was unsure where to go) and when I ask which side, he laughed in my face and points harshly at the other side of the building, then glares at me. Once I pulled in, I gave him my insurance and he said they don't accept it. I grabbed my phone to call a family member to check on the situation, and he goes "You need to leave. You're holding up the line."... I had been in the garage for MAYBE a minute and a half when he said this, after waiting for an HOUR to get service. I normally go to the E Riverside location and the people are lovely, but their inspection device was broken. One of the techs said that all the devices in Austin were down except for at this location on Menchaca. I suggest going literally ANYWHERE else but here. That man was so foul and made me feel so unsafe and uncomfortable. He needs to retire or go to a fucking nursing home. read more

I took my truck here because I didn't have time to change the oil before a road trip. BIG MISTAKE. They came and told me they were short on the proper oil for my truck. While telling me this another employee comes and says "we got it". So I'm thinking they found the oil. Nope.. They left my truck short 4 quarts which caused my entire top end to be replaced ($5000). So when I went to get a receipt for my oil change to attempt and recoup my money jiffy lube printed me a receipt with a different oil than what they had previously putt in my truck and proceeded to tell me I had an oil leak when they did it. I build dirt bike motors for a living and Im anal about my shit. I KNOW FOR A FACT there was no leak. The mechanic I use is familiar with my truck as he does my fluids change every 50k miles and also does my yearly maintenance. The mechanic nor myself ever saw an oil leak between getting the oil change and when the motor blew. And why wouldn't jiffy lube give me a receipt or tell me I had a leak when I got the truck back? This store cost me a new motor then lied to cover it up. Hopefully you read this and decide to go elsewhere. read more

Gave it a few minutes over then drove over only to find he hadn't taken his lunch yet. They told me they had a difficult customer issue involving payment, which is totally understandable. Everyone has those days. They asked me to go back home and wait for another hour. Then when I came back there were 6 cars ahead of me. I decided just to make an appointment with my dealership for later in the week. I am not sure why there are anything but 5 star ratings for this location. I refuse to take my car anywhere else; have never had anything but incredible experiences. They are always so nice and polite, no matter who helps me. Always call before coming in for a state inspection. The inspector's hours are NOT the same as the store's hours, and their hours are not consistent. Last time I got an inspection at 7 AM, right when they opened. Today, I go in at 7:00 to be told the inspector comes in at 9:00. Awesome. If you aren't going to offer services during business hours, at least put it on your website so customers don't waste their time (and gas). I've had good service here since moving in the neighborhood, and I'll still do business here, but they really need to be more transparent about their offered services/schedules. read more
