A little about me I am an 22 year Active Duty Service member Navy who was super skeptical of renting my property and was gonna sell 5 years ago. In talking with a colleague he convinced me that owning a rental is a smart idea and can really generate some passive income. He referred me to Melissa at POM who simply bridged the gap and eased my stresses of becoming a landlord. Today, because of Melissa and her team I am a success, I was able to deploy overseas on two separate tours and leave my home in the palms of her teams "Golden Hands" The day I moved out I turned over keys to a 4 year renter and had "Zero" issues. In Nov 2021, I got the sad news my 4 year renters were moving out end of December. In one months time, Melissa and her team, turned my property over and had new renters placed to move in the beginning of Feb. "Simply amazing". In closing, all I can say is that Melissa is nothing but professional and truly cares. My responses her entire team are within minutes. Then they said it wasn't their problem and I as the tenant needed to contact the HOA again after a month of inquiry. There was no HOA the email bounced back. Then the tenants were told they needed to provide MORE pictures to the head of maintenance again of the issue despite the listing agent taking pictures for POM, the plumber provided pictures, the maintenance person took and provided pictures and the head maintenance had visited the property 2 days b4 move in and should have pictures. We asked for a decrease in rent for the ongoing issue and/or a phone call. Head of maintenance said it wasnt POMs fault so no decrease. I said well it certainly was not OUR FAULT. We received an email from Melissa to end the lease no conversation. Which we happily took. And from move in to move out ~ 20 days of communication there were more than 86 emails for submission and system response to maintenance requests and over 40 texts. Meld is the system and its terrible. I would not recommend this property mgmt in any way. I forgot we were forced to take an earlier move in date and then attend to no less than 4 different plumbing appointments on our time and dime that all should have been taken care of in advance. And no staff accountability.

Danielle (who is no longer here) made us feel really welcomed here, and Chris was very pleasant and welcoming as well. Now, management has changed and fun living and feeling welcomed here is no longer a feeling for us. The amenities here are supposed to be a part of living and paying for a luxury apartment, but here that isn't the case anymore. We used the Community Room for a friendly and fun gathering for the holiday. We were given permission to use the room. After using the room we were first charged $1,000. After retaining an attorney, he advised us that there is nothing in our lease stating that they can charge us for using the room. After receiving the letter from our attorney Christy and Jasimon changed the $1,000 to $500. Which we haven't paid, because it's not valid or fair. I feel like we were targeted for them to get extra money from us for the activities that they have here. People use that room all the time, even the night before we did and they were not charged. A fact that I know! It seems like since management changed, everything has changed for the worst. Why live in a luxury apartment if you can't utilize the amenities that you're paying for? I have had two packages stolen that has still not showed up. Thankfully, the two companies resent my orders to me. This week has been the fourth or fifth time that we had to put in a work order for the microwave. It keeps cutting out, and tripping the breaker. The last time we smelled smoke. I have asked the last maintenance guy to put in an order for a new microwave. We'll see what happens or how long this will take. I pray that living here gets better and back to fun the way it used to be.

If she's not working everyone is goofing off or just laughing in the one girls office. I used to call and get a message to people but not any more. I submitted a service request three weeks ago about my faucet not working in the sink. Called about it. Said it'd be fixed by the end of the week. That was last Friday. Still broken. In short they do not have the same standards as before and it starts in that office. I don't know if it's poor management or what but they need to rethink who they hire and how they work. They are nice. I will say that. But really just goofing off in suits most days. My lease isn't over until December but I am not renewing. Not here.

My brother has been a resident at Verde at Howard Square West for the past few months and since…read morethen it has been one major issue after the other. Upon moving in the apartment was extremely filthy and smelly, you could tell it was not properly maintained or cleaned before they setup the move in for him. Within weeks of moving in both the refrigerator and microwave in his unit stopped working randomly. After he submitted numerous maintenance requests, it still took them ONE whole month before they finally repaired it. He also complained and submitted a maintenance request over two weeks ago for someone to replace his air filter in his unit and till this day the air filter has not been replaced. I recently came to visit and I can confidently say that the living conditions at Verde are unbearable and unpleasant. The overall quality of the building is horrible. The floor tiles in his bathrooms are misaligned and have spaces in between them that can cause an injury if you step on it barefoot, the hallways have a foul odor and if you still happen to come for a visit you will be met with numerous "F U" signs that people have carved into the wall. To top it off "Nia" in the leasing office is rude and she should not be in a position of customer service. She clearly does not care about the concerns of the residents.

She told me the tenant did not pay rent. Indeed, the tenant said she told him he didn't have to pay rent. Eventually I saw this in writing. She misled me or lied about the tenant many times to the point where I can't trust anything she says.
