Hubby wanted some pizza so we decided on Jet's pizza because he was familiar with them here in Indianapolis but let me tell you this location must've put some Motown seasoning with a hint of Detroit Love on their pizza. Walked in and was greeted by a young man immediately. It was relatively quiet and a chilled laidback vibe. He inquired about our order and before we paid, we asked a little about the price because there was a miscommunication over the phone but we got it figured out. This review is not specific to this location but to Jet's Pizza in general. Of all American pizza, I'm surprised to discover that Detroit-style is my favorite, and of all Detroit-style pizza chains, Jet's is on top of my list. I'm always excited to have it when we have company's lunch. The pizza always have generous toppings with crispy edges. It doesn't taste overly greasy. The dough is just the right thickness. Our work team ordered a few pizzas for lunch one day from here and it was a complete disaster. Not only did they not come until 12:45 (we definitely ordered it early), they forgot one of our pizzas. Upon realizing this the delivery guy said he could go back and get the pizza, but wouldn't be back until 1:30. We told him to just forget it, but he freaked out and almost got in a fight with one of the guys who went out to pay him. Not only did they not bring us the 3rd pizza, but we paid for all three. I normally wouldn't give a review for a chain restaurant but the pizza I got here was super duper good. I ordered a large 3 topping square pizza. It fed 4 for lunch and only cost about $12. The sauce, cheese and toppings were in Goldilocks amounts, not too much, not too little. What made it so good was the crust. It was soft in the middle and crisp on the edges and the bottom as if it was pan fried for a second. This Jets has now replaced Hungry Howie's as our office lunch pizza order. This is my favorite Jets location!!!! I've order from other Jets in the area, however this Jets location has the best pizza by far!!!! I've order multiple times from this location and never been disappointed. There square pizza ialways has a good crunch, it's never under done like the locations I've ordered from. Sometimes I'll order the wings, with the bones or boneless you can never go wrong. They taste amazing either with a side of Jets ranch, or buffalo sauce or sometimes both. This place is always busy, but it never lacks in cleanliness inside and out, the customer service is always impeccable, and there food is absolutely delicious.
