Have been a couple of times; both were take-out, and they pack their orders really well. They a good selection of tea, milk teas. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea are on my "must try" list. Lots of frozen drinks and matchas. We Tried: Steak Fried Udon Egg Fried Rice Bok Choy with Garlic Sauce Pork Xiao Long Bao Braised Pork Rice Bowl Mango Crepe Cake (stand out) All tasted fresh and had good flavor. Prepared well. The Bao's were the smaller dumplings and didn't travel as well, but the flavor was still quite good (Bao don't travel that well, even only 2 miles). Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu. Can't beat it for an excellent weeknight takeout or a dine-in.

However after placing our order on the screen, the two iced latte drinks came out with no espresso added? Apparently on the ordering screen you have to CHOOSE to add espresso, which is counterintuitive because then it's just sugar milk. Anyways that was fixed and my bubble fruit tea was good. I appreciate all the ways to personalize the tea and it's Good that they have non dairy drinks options! The staff person kinda awkwardly set the tray on our table and left - she didn't hand out the drinks to us, which is kind of weird? The cake we ordered took awhile to come out even though it was right there in the display - and I even inquired about it. we were done with our drinks by the time it came out - so it wasn't great timing and we were just over it. The spoons were cute but way too small to enjoy anything - my kiddo liked it though for a few bites. I feel like this was just for ambience and not really sustenance, not sure if I would come back. Maybe for the noodles or other foods but there's lot of other options nearby! They also advertise pizza on their front sign but I didn't see any on the inside menu...? Easy lot parking - watch out for the large pothole up front though!

Renee's has been a trusted spot in our home for years because they make it so easy to order safely. They clearly list all ingredients and allergens on their website, and as someone who deals with gluten and dairy restrictions, I genuinely appreciate that level of care. This time, I ordered through DoorDash and the food arrived quickly and still warm. We tried a variety of things, and one of the standouts was the deep-dish meat lovers pizza with vegan cheese. The crust had that chewy texture I've deeply missed since going gluten-free. It held up beautifully under layers of sauce, melty vegan cheese, and a generous helping of toppings. Bold, rich, and hearty. The chicken wrap surprised me--in a good way. It had a satisfying chew and was packed with toppings and flavor. I also got their cheese flatbread, which had a crispy edge and that deliciously soft center. Now, the fries? Not great. Soggy and under seasoned. My son picked at them but didn't ask for more. Definitely not their strong suit. But the elephant ears made up for it. Warm, sweet, lightly crisp, and topped with just the right amount of icing--they were the perfect way to end the meal.

My niece has celiac and we ordered from here multiple times for delivery. We ordered pizzas, salad, cheese bread, dessert, macaroni, and more. I'm sorry, but I don't get the rave reviews. I HATE not giving positive reviews but start making a…read moreless-than-acceptable pizza at a ridiculous price and you get my attention in the wrong way. As a New Haven pizza fan, the REAL kind, I was extremely disappointed. I know that after having eaten the real New Haven (Pepe's, Sally's, and Modern), I need to tighten down my expectations, but come on! They have these beautiful ovens, a nice, clean, and pleasant place and they turn out what I would consider pizza no better, perhaps a little less good than Hungry Howies thin crust pizza! New Haven is supposed to be crispy and chewy, NOT soggy. I tried Farmington Hills a few months ago and ate in, then last week tried Birmingham and carried out. For those of you thinking that my carry-out experience may have been bad due to the 3 miles I had to drive home, but I've carried out a LOT of pies from a LOT of locations, and I DO take that into account. There are some positives: The ingredients were impeccable. Fresh, high-quality cheese and the mushrooms were done really well. The pepperoni was of good quality but nothing worth writing home about. There are a lot of great pepperonis in the area. The doneness was great. It wasn't over- or undercooked. The flavor was good, but not, as some have said, amazing. In both cases, the crust was limp and soggy, NOT chewy and crispy. Not in the least. I don't mind if it's a little bit floppy, but not like this. An analogy I might give is to compare Tomatoes Apizza to Modern Apizza in actual New Haven is like comparing Jets Pizza to Loui's. Jet's is fine, but Loui's! (If you know, you know). To me, Modern in New Haven is at par, and not to be sacrilegious to our beloved Detroit Style, with Loui's or Palazzo Di Pizza, so it's not a style issue. My two experiences were both the same, so I don't know what to think. I'll give them one more try at some point.

The building is super cute, staff were really friendly. Unfortunately, can't say that I'm impressed by the pizza. My friend and I both ordered the Hot Honey Ricotta-Roni, one as is and the other no meat. We both felt the pizza lacked sauce and flavor. There was more bread to eat through than toppings and that was disappointing. For the pizza where no meat was requested and they said they couldn't do a substitution, you would've thought they'd add extra cheese or whatever other sauce they put on the pizza. I did request this over the phone but the background was extremely loud, so it may have been missed. Overall, the next time I visit Michigan, I'd be interested in trying another of their vegetarian pizzas to give it a shot. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly.
