We've ordered from Jet's many times, I love the pizza it's always great. This time, our order was overdue by about 20 minutes so I called the store. Apparently there was some mix up and our order was handed to other customers, and they needed to recreate the order and then send it out. They did all this, and ultimately everything arrived about an hour after it was initially due. The only thing I could ask differently here is to communicate with your customers before they call looking to find out about the problem. The avert was already known in the store, and the plan for that matter, which they executed. But no communication to the end customer is a big issue. read more

My husband and I are regulars here, and we absolutely LOVE Jet's Pizza. We always order the 4-corner or 8-corner pizzas, which are Detroit-style pizzas with every slice being a corner piece. I usually get a cheese pizza, and my husband always gets the Jet 10. Both are consistently delicious. A major shout-out to the turbo crust, which is an absolute must. If you've never tried it, do yourself a favor and add it to your order. We also love the ranch, which is the perfect pairing for the pizza. In my opinion, this is the best Detroit-style pizza in the Phoenix area. We come here often and, honestly, haven't even ventured into their other pizza styles because we love the corner pizzas so much. The whole family loves Jets. The 4 corner pizza is a favorite for us with the turbo crust! We've ordered the round pizza and it tastes good but it's just not the same without the crispy edges. We've had the wings and not our favorite. They tasted burnt the two times we got them and haven't ordered again. The ranch. Oh geez it's delicious and we buy a bottle of it every time we order. Arrived thinking this was a pizza joint with a dining room... but we were hungry and didn't have a lot of time to seek out another option so we went ahead and ordered a half-and-half, pepperoni, shredded pepperoni and spicy pepperoni and the other half sausage. So we sat and nibble on a salad while that aromatic searing hot fresh from the oven pizza cooled down enough for us to eat safely!! The Greek salad was delicious! Fresh crispy and just as it should be! But good Lord, let me tell you one bite of that pizza and I was an absolute fan and it's gonna be really hard for any pizza joint in the area to make me as happy. I'm afraid I may have found my Permanent PIZZA place. Y'all set the bar HIGH! Apparently, I'm not the only person who feels this way. The door to Jess was constantly in motion with customers, arriving for their phone in orders and others, stepping in to gaze at the menu to make their selection as well. The crust on this pizza was indescribably satisfying. As a type two diabetic, I do count carbs and I estimated one square as being about 45 carbs which is on the high end for me. I have no clue what the actual carb count was, but as one slice was satisfying, topping off the delicious salad. It was an absolute delight. We might call in an order someday and pick it up and bring it back to the house, but in all honesty, it would be hard to beat the experience we had at sunset sidewalk, dining, and the exquisite fresh from the oven jets pizza dining experience has made for a wonderful pizza memory. read more

OMG, I love Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, so when I saw the Jet's Pizza on 75th Ave and Thunderbird, I had to stop. They're famous for their Detroit-style pizza, which has this amazing crispy crust with caramelized cheese because it's baked in steel pans. They also have wings, salads, and "deli boats," which are like calzones. It's just pickup, but there are some tables outside if you can't wait. I got a big one with eight squares; the crust is so light and airy, the sauce is tangy, and that caramelized, cheesy crust is the best. I crave Jets all the freaking time. Problem is, they aren't really close to my house, (Praise baby Jesus they are building one in Surprise, soon!) so I don't go as often as I want. Went with 2 pizzas with bold pepperoni, one with turbo crust, the other without (my kids say it smells like dirty feet lol....it will smell up your car on the ride home, but it tastes delicious lol!). Think... Pizza Hut, but cut in squares and somehow more expensive. We were just passing through and stopped at a hotel nearby. Decided to try this place and ordered two large pizzas and mild buffalo wings. The pepperoni pizza showed up with just cheese and sauce -- no pepperoni in sight. The wings came without any ranch or blue cheese, which felt like an oversight. Not even crushed red pepper or Parmesan packets were included. I received a message from the business and them wanting to make it right. They offered to replace the pizza we had gotten and explained that they have new staff and are working to improve and get everyone trained properly. The interaction was great and I Truly appreciate how much they wanted to make it right. The pizza this time was really good, the crust was my favorite. The cheese was also a hit, I did think that they put a little too much sauce for my liking but my kids loved it. I love this style because I feel you get more pizza and with the size of my family this helps. I am giving them a 5 star because the service level was amazing. This is shared as a HUGE compliment to the manager, Matt, and assistant manager, Isabelle, for the phenomenal customer service that they provided in response to the concern over my order. Not only did Isabelle contact me by phone the same evening to ask if I'd like my pizza (which I'd picked up) replaced, she made the replacement herself then had it delivered to my home free of charge --- along with a complimentary order of their Cinnamon Stix. The next day, I received a text in follow-up from Matt who just wanted to know if the replacement was to my satisfaction, which it was. Their response to my complaint (which was merely that my pizza was overdone) was incredibly refreshing and much appreciated. They truly cared about my experience and went out of their way to ensure that I was ultimately satisfied with my purchase. In closing, I'd like to add that management at other places of business should take notes and learn a thing-or-two from these business professionals who obviously understand the importance of customer service, satisfaction and retention. Mistakes happen, but it's how you recover that matters most. Matt & Isabelle did exactly that. As a result, I will return to give them more business in the future and encourage others to do the same. I had a Pepperoni and cheese and Deluxe thick crust pizzas and an order of hot wings and the pizza and wings were cooked perfectly and were very delicious. I had the pizza delivered and it was delivered in a timely manner and it was still warm. I ordered through the mobile app so I didn't have to speak to the staff but the service was excellent and I have been to this place before and the ambiance was nice and clean. read more

The pizza here is good. Not really Detroit style and the toppings are on the top. The sauce is not on top like really Detroit pizza is. That said, the pizza is very good. A bit on the spendy side but worth checking out. We only tried the "Sicilian" style but they make other styles as well. This is really a takeout place as there is only a small counter with a few table on the outside. Service was fast but they didn't seem to listen well. I was craving a Detroit-style pizza so I googled it, and Jets was the top result so I decided to give it a try. Not at all disappointed! The crust is light and airy with great caramelization, the sauce is on point, and the toppings are generous. You can also add free crust flavorings such as garlic, butter, sesame seed, etc. And the prices are fine. I had this pizza on a road trip thru Texas in September and I phoned my girlfriend to tell her it's the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life. Not thin crust , not deep dish but right in between. The crust is no longer the sidekick to the toppings and cheese but is an equal partner. Airy doughy crunchy perfu**ing perfection. When I came home from 38 days away we went to our favorite pizza place in Vancouver (area) and there was no comparison. I may have to fly one home from Phoenix to Vancouver. I wanted to try something new and stumbled on Jets. I thought this was going to be just a little bit better than your Little Caesars or fill in the chain place here. I was wrong. Jet's was fantastic. Ordering was easy online. Price was reasonable for the large 8 corner pizza. Staff inside were really friendly. But what really matters the most, is the that pizza was great. It was not just another dish/pan pizza. The crust was perfect. The sauce was great and the cheese was thick and melty. The ratio of dough to sauce/cheese/toppings was right on. Texture was great. Didn't feel like I was eating a blob of dough with some sauce and cheese on it like some pan style pizzas I've had. It was just right and hard to put down. I'm writing this review because I didn't have the highest expectations for Jet's but I was very impressed and would definitely recommend trying them out. read more
