Super cute drive through, no need to get out of the car(bonus!), I got the Highlander grogg(butterscotch & rum) brew, just black, that way I'm able to really taste the coffee! It was delicious, very bold & rich in flavour. Just the way I like my coffee. I got the medium size and it was a good size, I thought it would be smaller for some reason. What a cute little coffee shop with friendly service! I needed some coffee to start my road trip, and did a quick search for a coffee shop near my hotel and Jet Coffee popped up. Just a small drive thru building in the parking lot of a strip mall, I almost missed it on an early morning. I'm always shocked at coffee shops that open at 8am but Jets was there to save the day when I was in town bright and early on a Friday! My favorite coffee in Northern Kentucky, this little stand is quicker and cheaper than Starbucks and they don't over roast / burn their beans so it has natural taste variations. My goto is Highlander Grogg,which I highly recommend. They also have an ever changing list of seasonal flavors and lots of sugar free options. The girls are friendly will make suggestions if you are on the fence about a specific drink or heck just get a few you will be fine. I love the fact I don't have to scramble to find a parking spot ( since its just a drive up shop), get the kids out of the car, wait in a ridiculous line, or deal with rude employees. I had an iced Jet fuel drink with the Irish cream. Absolutely fabulous! I have not had an iced coffee this great since trying Dutch Brothers coffee in Phoenix. Outstanding!!!! FYI - this is a little drive-up coffee stand in a parking lot. There are two windows, and the service is fast. Best Feature: Lots of drinks + options! Great tasting lattes, too! Worst Feature: ------ I spotted this place just a couple months ago while perusing Mall Road in Florence. I had almost forgotten to stop by when I found myself passing right by it this morning, so a quick right turn later and I was sitting behind a truck in line to get coffee. It's a standalone little drive-thru spot, so if you're looking for a sit-down cafe, you're out of luck. But for those of us who are fine with coffee on the go, it's very conveniently placed! It's just off of U.S. 42 by Mall Road, perfect for when you're already out visiting the Mall Road strip in Florence. I immediately saw their flashing "open" sign and a few advertisements for gift cards, non-fat beverage options, and a few other coffee-related things. I find handwritten signs rather charming, so I was enjoying my wait reading all the holiday flavors and specials they had going on. They also have basic coffees, smoothies, and other great drinks - but my mind was already made up on trying a pepperminty mocha beverage. The woman who helped me was very friendly - greeted me with a warm welcome and when I suddenly changed my mind after placing my initial order, she was still more than happy to change it to my liking. I got a minty mocha - dark mocha with peppermint - in a 16 oz for $4.00. That was about what I was expecting - similar price to the higher-priced coffee chains. The interior, from what I could see, looked clean and nice. I always like knowing people are preparing food/beverage in a clean environment, so I was happy about that. They have a lot of different flavors and I really enjoyed their push on seasonal lattes. In fact I'm really interested in stopping back post-holidays to see what spring/summer options they come up with! I really enjoy a menu that offers staple flavors and then changes up a few based on the season/holiday/etc. The coffee drink itself was very good! Actually almost a bit too sweet for me, so next time I think I'll opt for low-fat options and no whip cream, but that is just my preference. I loved the chocolate / peppermint combo - they did a great job and it was a full-flavored latte just as I was hoping. Not sure what/if any foods they offer, so I'll have to stop back there on a breakfast day and see if they've got anything. Between the friendly service, good coffee, great selection of beverages and convenient location, I'll definitely stop by again! I bought a living social for Jet Coffee even though I had never tried it. Yesterday was my first time at the drive thru coffee place and it was really good! I ordered a medium White Cloud flavor (vanilla and white mocha) and it was a much more generous portion than the medium you would get at Starbucks. The lady working was friendly and service was quick. It tasted good and the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is probably more due to personal preference because the coffee drink was SO sweet. They definitely don't skimp on the syrup. I felt like I had more of a sugar high than a coffee buzz, so I would've preferred less sweetness. read more

Best coffee in the tri state area - hands down. I lived in Sydney Australia for several years and it's one of the world's best cities for coffee. Over there you have to be licensed like a Barber to be a Barista and Jet Coffee is the only place I've ever found since returning that comes close - and it comes VERY close. It's not over roasted like Starbucks (Ever since having a Toby's in Sydney Starbucks tastes burned to me). It's nice and smooth and mild enough to be easy on the stomach, but without losing the great robust taste of a well prepared coffee bean. Service is FAST and friendly and I'm always driving away within five minutes with zero hassle. If you want soccer moms in yoga pants and pretentious d-bag hipsters who haven't bathed in weeks serving you - go to Starbucks. If you want great coffee go to Jet. read more

For taste reference, my favorite plain old coffee ever was Caribou. Starbucks is not my favorite due to its burnt bean character. Jets is better than Caribou was, rich and smooth.
