Squawking Goat sandwich
Tara R.

I stopped by for the second time and ordered the Squawking goat sandwich (which is what I got last time). Came to just over $11, no side, but a decent sized sandwich. I dined in, and food came out quickly, within 5 minutes. Love the flavors of this knife and fork sandwich, the tangy goat cheese, the sweet red pepper jelly (which is more like a Thai sweet chili sauce to me, very little heat), and the well seasoned crispy chicken. The biscuit is good, more solid than fluffy, but it all works well together. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in the area!

My first time trying Maple Street biscuit Company. I went on a Thursday at lunchtime and there were no customers. I received prompt service and the food was brought out quickly. Everything was delicious. The gravy is good and it does say it's a little spicy and it is. The biscuit was very fresh and flaky. I took my order to go and the cheese didn't fare too well.

Keto Brunch Bowl

My wife choose the egg -treme gravy and biscuit (if you like greased gravy then it's for you). She explains to me the biscuit is very good and buttery. While I choose the keto breakfast (not big fan of sauce on top of everything). This is a Military friendly location. This is a really nice place not far from x way. Don't be in a hurry we waited 30 minutes to get our food and there is only a few people here.

Ordered the Squawking Goat biscuit which was insanely flavorful. Also ordered an inched maple vanilla latte and I think about it all the time lollll. Just perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess that my perfect type of coffee needs!

When you call yourself a Biscuit Company your only real deliverable is to have amazing biscuits. Maple Street was a disappointment. Compared to other southern biscuit concepts like Biscuit Belly, Maple Street is only one star worthy. The images of fresh hot melty cinnamon biscuits with drizzled icing are actually rock hard stale biscuits that look and taste like plastic samples only put out for show. The icing was cold and the whole show piece was room temp at best. The Farmer was average at best and the biscuit was outshined by the apple butter. If Maple Street wanted to be honest with the public they should rebrand themselves as an apple butter company, at-least then they could deliver on their promise. The layout of the order counter is awkward. Am I in line? Should I stand with the door open? Should I hover over this family trying to eat? Hell if I know, this que to order is the red flag to turn around and go somewhere else. Lastly, they didn't bus any tables and the dirty dish pile was sky high. Meh. If you want to spend money on average overpriced prefab biscuits from the Sysco food truck you'll love this place!

The Retro Plate

This was our first and only time at this restaurant. It was ok, but not what I was really expecting. You enter and order your meal, get a number and then find a table. We had to clean our table, but had to ask for napkins to have a place to sit. You also have to get your own salt and pepper. My boyfriend and I ordered the Retro Plate. Who doesn't love biscuits and gravy?! I just wish I knew there was some heat to it. Neither one of us could eat it-too spicy! One piece of bacon was perfect and the other was burnt. The potatoes were ok, but I was craving more of a hash brown type. It's similar to Izzy's potato pancake.

The food is amazing the service is fantastic and the ambience is perfect the biscuits and gravy were just so magnificent

Our second visit to this nifty breakfast forward restaurant in Florence was as delicious as the first. It has lot's of different takes on biscuits and gravy and other biscuit themed dishes. On this occasion I tried the High Steaks dish which was recommended to me by the guy taking my order (that guy was awesome for the record.) The High Steaks were a biscuit and gravy dish that also had country fried steak on top. The biscuits were great and the gravy was truly delicious. The country fried steak was quite good as well and finished off what was a splendid breakfast. Emily enjoyed her breakfast a lot as well. I still have nothing but glowing remarks to say about Maple Street Biscuit Company.

Hash Brunch Bowl

Tried a new breakfast place today. Busy place on Sunday brunch time, line was gathering outside the door. Friendly service, eclectic menu and fresh everything. Watched them hand bread the chicken and roll out the biscuits! The maple coffee was good, sadly when I added some Cream, the maple flavor faded.

Fresh squeezed orange juice and The Farmer

How was the service? Service was good. You order when you walk in. Everyone we encountered was friendly Would I eat there again? Absolutely! How was the food/drink? Food was very good. We got the Farmer and the Five and Dime chicken biscuit sandwiches and both were so so good. Would order the same thing again. The chicken was tender, moist and perfectly crispy. The gravy for the Five and Dime has a nice kick and the apple butter is made in house for the Farmer. For drinks I got the fresh squeezed orange juice which you can never go wrong with! Husband got the medium medium drip coffee that has hints of maple syrup and it was also very good! How was the vibe/aesthetic? Average vibe/aesthetic. Nothing really noteworthy. How was it priced? Price was a little much but fair once you see the portion sizes. For our two meals plus coffee and orange juice it was $35.

First time here, and I was highly impressed with their menu selection. The coffee was great. I got the chicken club biscuit, and my husband got the five and dime biscuit, and we shared some sausage balls. It's all around very yummy, and the portions are more than enough. Definitely plan on coming back. The restaurant itself was clean, and the employees were awesome. Definitely recommend this little spot.

Retro Biscuit - Fried Chicken

I finally stopped in to try this place and I am glad I did. I ordered the retro chicken biscuit with smash browns. The chicken was delicious and had some heat to it. The smash browns delicious. The only thing is I wanted the biscuit to be flaky and it was dry. Biscuit is in the name so should be the highlight

If you like a STRONG coffee that is DECAF and your regular coffee shop has recently closed, I HIGHLY recommend The Coffee Bean in Erlanger. It is beautifully decorated and they even have pastries at the end of the week. I've been looking for nearly every coffee shop in NKY and can't say enough positive things about the coffee bean. They're cute as a button interior is inviting and quiet. Great place to cozy up with a book or some work. The first time I went I wanted to just stay and talk to the owners all day, they were so kind and very passionate about what they do. A retired teacher just looking to be involved in the community, love it! Their coffee itself was really good, I've tried both hot and cold drinks but always come back to a standard iced coffee, one can never replicate that at home. They also sell a huge variety of coffee syrups, candies and even little gifts. Such a cute place, wish I lived closer to visit more!
