I had already taken a bite before I noticed it. I'm attaching a photo because this isn't simply a matter of not liking the food or receiving the wrong order. Raw chicken is a legitimate food-safety concern. I understand restaurants can make mistakes, but chicken needs to be cooked thoroughly and there should be safeguards in place to make sure something like this does not reach a customer. I have my receipt and photos documenting what I received, and I am also submitting a formal complaint to management/corporate. Please check your chicken carefully if ordering from this location. I sincerely hope management investigates what happened and reviews their cooking temperatures and food-safety procedures so this does not happen to someone else. When I called the store for a refund for the missing item, I was told they don't issue refunds, only offering to replace the item on my next order and directing me to call Chick-fil-A Cares for a refund. Chick-fil-A Cares said refunds are at the store's discretion; however, if the request is made through them, the store will honor it. They requested a refund and then received a call from Wayne Chick-fil-A customer relations. After re-explaining the situation, I was told they'd speak to the store manager and get back to me, but I haven't heard anything since. Posting a review only got me another offer to replace the item on my next visit, but I don't plan to return due to the poor service. This experience has been disappointing, with unclear policies, poor customer service, and nonsense red tape between the franchise and corporate.
