Paid $22 for a giant philly sub. Asked for it mikes way and it came drenched in vinegar to the point where the bread stuck to the paper and wasn't edible. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - #17 Mike's Famous Philly - Sandwiches Near Me - Suffolk, Virginia

The sandwiches are good, somewhat pricey but fresh, nonetheless. I normally only get the ham and swiss due to it being the closest thing to a "Blimpies" sandwich. I'll be back if I just need a quick sandwich... read more

Before I begin, let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's review!!.. I walked in a myself and another customer as well as 2 employees had a friendly conversation about Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, the conversation was quite interesting and very amusing! I ordered a giant chipotle with extra onions, peppers and chipotle mayonnaise, that's my usual go to sub when I eat at their establishments! Once my order was ready the gentleman called my name, I walked up to the counter and typed my rewards number in and what do you know? The employee asked me if I wanted to use my points to get my sub free, and what do you think I said? Absolutely sir! So I walked away with a free sub. Win win for me! read more

My last visit to Jersey Mike's on Collage Dr. was last year 2024. I had not patronize this business in a while, but when I did go to get a sub, it was subpar the person that was serving me seemed that she was more interested in conversation than actually making a good sub and I have not been back to Jersey Mike's since that time. I thought the ambience was a little shabby because the restaurant itself seemed to have declined in its appearance of clean food areas and clean floors. read more

Usually love jersey mikes and they knock their sandwiches out of the park. This location gave me an absolute sub par of a steak and cheese. Ordered a $20 something dollar giant big kahuna (26 and change with a drink) and the bread was stale and the meat didn't even fill the whole sandwich... about 2-3 inches on each end with nothing on it maybe some cheese. Barely any flavor compared to what i usually get. Wont be returning to this location that's for sure. read more

I ordered the Chicken Philly bowl for lunch. I had high expectations since everyone has been talking about their bowl options. Once I got back to work 6 mins up the road I opened it and was in disbelief at the quality of the food and the portion size that was inside the container. I took a picture to post but I can't post a picture for some odd reason. There wasn't even enough food to put on a hotdog bun and fill it up. The cheese was hard and stuck to the bowl and the chicken was very dry with absolutely no flavor. I added the entire side of chili pepper relish but that didn't help much. Highly disappointed. Especially because I spent $11.13 for 3 bites of food. read more

Be prepared for a long wait for lunch. Only 2 people staffing location today. Online orders taking 45 min! Please we hire more people.

Jersey Mike's corrected the situation. They made good on the refund and we will continue to patronize the College Drive location.

Stay far far away from this location. I've never had a sandwich take so long in my life. And it's like they had an attitude so the purposely just took their time while also ignoring the phone smh. Like how do you take 17 minutes on a turkey sub? It makes no sense. I'm not one to take pics of strangers so I didn't wanna show how many people are in here right now waiting but there are 8 people in this store right now and 6 haven't even ordered yet but still been here waiting for at least 11 minutes just to order read more

It was a quick in and out even with a big order. Good service by the staff. Food was as expected.

I'm from New Jersey and know that the sub I got from this store was pretty lame. Not much meat and toppings for the price. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite - Sandwiches Near Me - Suffolk, Virginia

JERSEY MIKE'S! What I love about this place the most is they cut your meat for you right there when you order. It's not in a bin, in a chill station, but kept in a storage refrig right there. Another thing is the stringly lettuce. Something about stringy lettuce that sets off a sandwich. Walked into this location and was greeted by the staff. Sandwiches served on fresh bread and of course the fresh cut meats. You can have one of there classics or your way. The large sandwiched are HUGE!, enough for the wife and I to have one. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and good tasting food. I'll be back! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - The Original Italian. - Sandwiches Near Me - Suffolk, Virginia

These are hands down the best sandwiches in the harborview area. I don't bother with any other spots.

Subs are absolutely delicious. Have tried a couple of them. Service is fast in store or ordering online. Would recommend to try Jersey Mike's. One thing is I went to the Jersey Mike's on Taylor Road. read more

Would leave a zero if it was possible! Ordered on line, son picked it up. At home order was wrong , there was 1 piece of turkey on the whole sandwich, and toppings were wrong. The other sandwich was wrong as well. Called them said they couldn't do a refund because there was no manager. Drove there got a refund, was lied to on the phone when she said they couldn't do refunds. Won't go there ever again! read more

I have enjoyed Jersey Mike's subs for over two decades. I especially like their tuna salad and that's what I usually buy. So, I recently called and placed an order over the phone. I asked for a tuna salad 6" sub. She said Mike's Way and I said no. I just wanted Mayo, cheese, onions and tomatoes. I ordered Lays potato chips and was very specific to say "Not Baked" just regular classic chips and a can of root beer. In the past they have given me those tasteless baked chips and I wanted to avoid that happening again. I pick up my food and go home eagerly looking forward to dinner because I was really hungry. The root beer was exactly what I ordered and so were the chips. I was feeling like I had cracked the chip ordering code, at last. Then I pulled out the sub. It was some different kinds of lunch meat (which I don't eat because they are slimy and full of sodium nitrite and nitrate - proven carcinogens). It had provolone cheese - never my favorite, jalapeño peppers and it was made Mike's Way. What the heck? Where was MY sandwich? I can only assume some poor guy got my tuna salad and was as shocked as I was. It was too far to go back so I just ate it. Actually, it tasted good but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was eating something really bad for me. Anyway, attention to detail is important; even at Jersey Mike's. So instead of 5 Stars this location is getting only 4. Wake up guys!!!! read more

Good sub but not for the price! Asked for 2 regular subs and they made one regular and one giant. Guess the listening skills are not the best. Will not go back because of price. It's not gold!! read more

Went here for lunch and it's part of a new shopping center that they have built off of College drive. In order to get there, if you're coming from the interstate, you'll have to make a U-Turn at the light that's right by it. When you first enter you'll notice that it has a very similar look to other establishments of this type (sandwich shop). The menu is very reasonable and while they do have a few options, I wish I could say that I walked away from here feeling like I received my money's worth. For just a little more money, you could probably go elsewhere to purchase all the same ingredients and make twice as many (if not more) subs as they give you for your one. What you are basically getting here are fresher ingredients with someone making it for you. While the staff was friendly, helpful and cooperative, the value for the money just seems far too low for me to want to come back. If you are in a pinch (stress - pinch or rush) and want a decent sandwich made to order, this would work. However, for a place to eat regularly or visit for a nice dinner, there's definitely other places that could give you better value for your dollar. Food taste - 3.5 Overall Service - 4 Value of food to cost - 2.5 Facility - 3.5 Repeat customer? - no read more

I order from this location all the time for lunch and they always get it right. Classic Italian, Mike's Way, no tomatoes, add jalapeños, mayo, pepper relish, and spicy brown mustard on rosemary Parmesan bread. It'll change your life... or at least change the way you think about subs. Staff is friendly, fast, and efficient. They also write the name on the subs, which is helpful when you're getting lunch for the office. Avoid the Chesapeake Square location though if you want it to be made correctly. They've never gotten my order right. Ever. read more

Im a fan. I love the fact that the meat isn't precut and packaged. The subs are huge and tastey. Im mad it took me so long to find out about their rewards program. Ib would have easily gotten 2 or 3 free sub's. read more

I love ordering from this place! Me and my Manager order from this place for lunch all the time, we work across the street and we always call our order in and pick it up. We never have any problems and the staff has been nothing but friendly and wonderful! The establishment is clean and concerning COVID-19, they do practice social distancing and wearing masks is required. The food is great as well! Good quality food and tasty! I will be back again to order from here again read more

The sandwich is a little bit below average and my personal customer service was fine. However while arguing with a customer about a coupon in her email a employee said and I quote " look lady we don't have to take your coupon because we are a franchise. Do you want the sandwich or not?" I find that to be highly offputting hence the one star review read more

Absolutely worst Jersey Mike's I have been to. Customer service was horrible. They didn't bother asking me what toppings I wanted, They just threw it on there. It was really messy, the tables were really disgusting where they made my sub. Highly do not recommend this jersey mikes. read more

$10.00 for a half sub and a small drink? No thank you. And I got a present: diarrhea. Sorry to be gross. I don't usually have any stomach issues. Oddly the last place I had any problem like this was the Chipotle next door! Makes me wonder. I bought subs from here for my family while I got Chipotle (and regretted it) a while back. It smelled good in the restaurant (and when I went next door to chipotle to get a burrito while they made my subs chipotle took forever!) and my wife said it was good. My son mentioned the corn meal. Well, the sub I got today had so much cornmeal on the bottom I left what looked like a pile of sand on the table. Additionally there were two large, unappetizing hunks of cornmeal stuck to the bottom of the sub roll which I had to pick off. Hours later, my mouth still feels "dusty"! I got chicken chipotle but there was no hint of any chipotle flavor. The sub was otherwise nothing special. Have had many as good at many restaurants that serve philly steaks and various hoagies. I much prefer Zero's. I think Fire House is better. The bad stomach issue I had really gives me no reason to eat there. I eat all kinds if places and have never had experiences as bad as this, or the next door. Sure you get something a little "off" now and again but this was WAY off! Add to that the minuscule front parking lot (majority if parking is on the side of the chipotle side if the building) I have no desire to go here - but the cost is much bigger issue in general. I paid $10 for food that didn't stay in me long. Sorry, will eat elsewhere. read more

Ordered 3 subs today - we had a coupon to buy one and get one free. While the subs were good and the servic fast (few other customers), the price was pretty steep. Basically we paid $18 for 2 subs - regular size - which is NOT that big. When paying with a card the computer prompted u to add a tip, in our case the smallest options was $1.70 Could easily have bought 3 much bigger subs at Harris Tether for the same price - no tip demanded there..... read more

The best sub I've had here in VA! I'm a NJ native transplant Virginian. I'm used to overstuffed hoagies and packed cheesesteaks. Both deliver here at Jersey Mikes! The chipotle cheesesteak is my absolute favorite! read more

Ordered dinner with son. Cashier told me I was rude because 3 times I told her the screen said "processing...pease wait". Each time she told me to slide my card...each time I told her the same answer...the screen says "processing...pease wait". The machine tried to allow me to use Apple Pay. Either way, don't cop and attitude with a customer that is trying to pay and the machine is the one that is having a problem. Very unprofessional of the cashier! read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars for this visit! The young lady making my wrAp refused to make it as I wished! And when I informed her that I had it made that way before she simply said "oh!" Good, convenient, fast service, good sandwich (original Italian!). I would give them 5 x stars, but they don't have any beer :(

I opened a Yelp account just to write a review. I'm a vegetarian and I ordered a veggie sub when my co workers placed an order. I basically said make is a veggie and load it up. What I ended up with was about 1.5 pounds of floppy cheese covered with limp shredded lettuce a couple anemic tomato slices and watery mayo. It was by far the worst representation of a veggie sub but the crappy "veggies" on it are a clear reflection on how much the staff there does not care. Save your money. It's not hard to make a great veggie sub, as Subway has shown us. BTW, my friends meat sub was okay but didn't knock her socks off. read more

This is the sandwich spot that made me put subway away for good. There cold sandwiches are made to order and you get a lot of meat with your sandwich, not just bread. The employees at this particular spot are always very nice and very helpful. I usually get the jersey shore favorite. The philly cheese steak is good but not the best. I have been and will continue to be a consistent customer. read more

Ordered a reg. Chipotle chicken sub and a giant meatball sub. The food is okay but a fast food place should not get this basic thing wrong: taking orders. I ordered a chicken chipotle with no cheese on wheat; i saw the receipt and it said "BEEF" so I inquired and they had to re-do my sandwich----I ended up getting a chipotle chicken WITH cheese on WHITE bread. I called this in, took them 10min and a few more when I got to the pick up window for them to fix my order. read more

DISGUSTING I wish I could give this horrible place a half star. Went in to get my son, husband and mother-in-law a sub to go. When we got back to the house for them to eat it the bread was soggy wet. The tuna on my husbands sub was wet and runny. . . disgusting. Paid almost a $40. They could not even eat their subs. My husband called and told the manager about the situation with his sub, we didn't even mention the problem with my son's sub. He told him to come in and he would give us a free sub...so much for that. Since we don't live nearby my mother-in-law went to get the sub. When she went in to receive the free sub he told her it was for a regular sub. Not what we bought. She asked him if he needed to see the receipt and he said no he didn't. She still had to pay $9. I just want my now $50 back from this place. I will never go back to get a wet, soggy sub from here again. I highly recommend that you do not eat here and definitely don't go back to get burned a second time. I think I learned my lesson. read more

I've inly been here a couple of times. Fairly fun place. Good is bountiful here. If you order a large, plan to split it. It's quality food. Definitely would recommend over subway type options. Firehouse is still better imo. read more

I was happy to see a Jersey Mike's in N. Suffolk. Finding a good sub can be hard to do. When stopping late in the lunch rush, I was greeted by a lengthy wait and a sub not made as requested. They removed the onions I had not ordered, but the taste (I dislike onions a great deal) was still there. After spending north of $20 for a sub, drink & chips, It was difficult throwing my lunch in the trash when arriving back at my office and tasting what I can't stand. Unfortunately this was my 2nd, less than favorable experience and my last. read more
