As soon as the older gentleman cut the meat, he went to stare out of the to go window and suck on some ice from a cup. And the young assembly man talked the whole time to either the older man or the girl about who was in a truck in the parking lot. Every now and then he would ask me if I wanted something like red peppers or did I want the pickle or was it "to-go." It was very, very laid back. You are just here for the sandwich and they are just here to make it and get you in your way, no frills. It was okay, but very different from many of the other, similar shops. They did all have Sub Station II shirts, but it really made me think about how, let's say, Jersey Mike's workers all have on aprons and a cap, same with Subway or Firehouse. Just interesting.
