It was about 9:15 AM on a Friday morning when I pulled up for a spicy chicken biscuit at Bojangles. I was on my way to a haircut appointment when I first considered a breakfast biscuit. How disappointing to find that along my way, two different Hardee's had permanently closed (which I dutifully reported to Yelp for updates). This Bojangles popped up soon after along my route and there was no choice other than to stop. The parking lot was oddly full. The drive through was also full enough as to have a small jam up, so about 12-14 cars. I found a spot and when I entered, the place was packed with older retiree's. They said about 50 in attendance. They had pulled every table in the place into two long tables, pulling even the booth tables out to join together. There was one rickety table open for me. I order from the guy, we will just call Guy. Guy says he thought it was a birthday party. Guy takes my order, gives me change. Guy goes back and gets my unsweetened tea and brings it to me. Guy goes back and dons gloves and makes my biscuit, wraps it and delivers it too. He's the one man show, but did a good job. Turns out, a group meets here every Friday morning. Men and women, about equally split. Once a month, they celebrate birthdays for the month, today was five with the average age at 93. They had a big cake. Very friendly bunch of folks, but at 64, I'm a whippersnapper in these parts. I'm glad Bojangles was open and this was quite the experience. read more

This place is a disaster. I entered at 10:00. The place was empty. I waited at the register for about 4 minutes while the workers were engaged in an important conversation about how one of them had a back ache. I placed my order. Then went to the drink station to get my sweet tea. The urn was dry. I went back to the counter and asked the lady to fill it with sweet tea. She did but the tea was unsweetened. I added a sweetener. The lady tells me that they have to cook the borounds. It will take 5 minutes. I could have switched to fries without a wait. Meanwhile a man comes in an orders a combo with sweet tea. The lady immediately filled his cup with unsweetened tea. He tastes it and tells her it not sweet. Then I spoke up and told her about my tea. She then goes back and returns with two new cups that are sweet, really sweet. Now my order is ready. I go to an empty table with a see-saw top that almost dumped my food onto to the floor. I ordered a family meal at 6 pm. The cashier in the drive thru let me know to expect a 15-20 minute wait which I agreed to. About 25 minutes later, a manger brought out a large box. When I arrived home, the box had tenders, biscuits, fries, and lemonade. Only the biscuits were in my order. I returned to the store and shared the issue, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. They had already realized the mix up. I waited another 20 minutes for the items I had originally ordered. I took the box given and returned home for dinner- now a full two hours after my original trip. The box given still didn't contain the correct order- multiple items were missing and the fresh chicken that I waited for was not fresh or hot. The staff was super nice. After waiting a while for one of the five people working drive thru to come take my order at the front counter someone finally acknowledged that I existed and then after a little bit the guy making food came to take my order and I get it and it's wrong when I tell him it's wrong the response was well i didn't hear that and you didn't get chraged for that anyway so.... lol thats Not the point! HORRIBLE!!!! Went in on a Saturday. Not one customer inside. No one in the drive in. Music blasting. Stood at register for five minutes before anyone offered to help. Placed order for twelve piece meal. Dude at register hasn't said a word. Pay $40 plus dollars. Then they tell me they have only one chicken breast.....in the entire store!!! They want to give me legs instead. No apologies! Nothing. I asked for my money back. Again, almost no communication. No apology. They seemed annoyed that I was disturbing their party. This was quite possibly the best bojangles experience i've had. The chicken: Spicy, Hot and juicy. The mashed potatoes: Hot and Smooth. The fries: Crisp, Hot and well seasoned. The tea perfect. Thank you guy who was zooted out of his mind for this food. read more

Now Folks it's Bo Time!!! Yes, got to rate my Go to Breakfast Places. Well location is easy to get In/Out and the Biscuits are truly Good!!! I prefer the Sausage/Egg, my Wife the Ham Biscuit. I don't care about those Potatoes or Fries. Gravy is Spicy with that Red Pepper Kick. Now the Chicken is very Good for a quick take-out too!! Not as Good as Hardees for Breakfast but their Lunch/Dinner is!!!! read more

The absolute worst Bojangles I've ever been to. Every single time we come here we have to pull around and wait (as we currently are the 4th in line waiting on the side of the building with cars behind us). We were told tenders would take 8 minutes. Get to the window and were told they were out of mac and cheese. Said they couldn't do a refund (for something they charged us for but didn't have) but we could get something else. Absolutely unprofessional and terrible service - shocking how this place is still running. Not one to write reviews but EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it is awful service. We have learned our lesson and will drive further from now on to another one to avoid this one and save ourselves the time. What I am not willing to tolerate is the horrible attitudes. Seriously, asking anyone a question in this establishment will make you feel as if you are inconveniencing them. Worst fast food restaurant I've ever been too. This one is close to my house so I've given it a few try's and ever time it just gets worse. Terrible costumer service, extremely slow, guaranteed wait for any item that you buy. This was the final time I will be coming here. Ordered my food pulled up and they tell us that they are out of the food that we order conventional after we paid for the food. Then when I asked for a refund for the food because they told me they were out of Mac and cheese they said they don't do refunds which is hilarious. Then the employee walked away and when he came back said we can make some but it will take 20 minutes. So after being told they didn't have something it suddenly appeared and they could make it. They are lazy and clearly there are no repercussions. The employees I have come in contact with always have an attitude, are nasty to you and show all kinds of body language to let you know they aren't happy you're asking them to do their job. Hit or miss, the issue isn't with the food, it's the employees. I've been by on a Sunday morning where at 7:00A they say they aren't serving breakfast "this early" and then chuckle about it over the speaker. This morning the order taker was over powered by all the chatter and noise in the background and had to ask for my order three times. When she asked for the fourth time I just pulled off. There were zero other cars in the drive thru so I'm pretty sure that's just their way of turning people away without saying it. If corporate or management sees this review, get new employees, perhaps pay a little more for quality people. read more

By far the slowest and worst service of any fast food place. I stopped to get the new breakfast bowl there were 7 people waiting for their order and 3 ordering. I have had this issue with this location and again knew the outcome so decided to leave. I refuse to support this location. Avoid the wait Go to Butler Rd location way better. read more

I stopped at this place last summer while I was on Main Street in Simpsonville. I waited in line for about 30 minutes. When I got to the window at 5:40PM, the attendant told me that they were out of everything. I think this was probably done as a joke because the other imbeciles were there waiting to see my response. I just went through the drive thru at this "establishment" and when I was handed my large sweet tea the lid was not put on the drink all the way so here I am covered in sweet tea all the way down to my shoes as well all over my car. Everything is sticky and the lady at the widow just stares at me never apologizing just blamed someone else for the lid. This is the slowest Bojangles in history. I have been twice now and each trip, the minimum wait for food was probably 15 minutes. This time, it took them 20 minutes to get some Mac and cheese. I isusally go through here on fridays and the drive thru has just gotten Ridiculous! There is a man taking orders, must be sometime of manager or team leader because he wears a checkered long sleeve shirt and sweater best. Its like he shuts down when two cars get to the window for their food and he will quit taling orders at the drive thru speaker. I had 10 cars piling up behind me and he had two people at the window. I finally had to ask of I could place an order over the speaker as he had not even acknowledged I was there and he got very rude. After about 15 min of waiting at the speaker he finally did take my order I got to the window and all my food was wrong. I asked for a meal there was no hashbrowns and when I got to work there was no egg or cheese on my biscuit like there was supposed to be. If I could have given zero stars I would have! My husband went to Bojangles today (Easter Sunday) and came back home raving about the customer service he received. Jacqulyn took is ordered...she was extremely friendly and with how busy they were (6 people were waiting behind him) she was very efficient. We frequent this Bojangles a lot in the morning and typically we use the drive thru and they are also nice but for my husband to point out how good Jacqulyn was....she must have been amazing!!
