3.5: I like Jersey Mike's sandwiches overall, though today's sandwiches felt a little underwhelming. I've been to this location a few times and today was by far the busiest, though customers cycled in and out. They have hot and cold sandwiches and the more basic ones come in three sizes (mini $8, regular $11 and giant $18). They have white, wheat, gluten free and rosemary parm, the latter two have an upcharge. I think their hot sandwiches are better than their cold ones, and while they're better than Subway, they can't beat a regular deli. Their subs aren't too photogenic either! There was a bit of a line today and it didn't move that quickly. But the staff was friendly and seemed to take it all in stride. And nothing went awry with the actual order. They also sell chips and chocolate chip cookies. Sign up for their rewards program to earn points toward items. Apparently double points on Tuesdays! They've gone downhill lately. Extremely stingy with their salami portions. This is a salami and cheese sandwich that I ordered in hopes to get more salami than what they put on their Italian. But nope, you get the same 1-3 slices even if the sandwich only contains salami. read more

I'm conflicted about this spot. While the taste is good, the presentation is not. I work close to this spot and many of my coworkers go here for lunch. The toppings are commonly falling out of the sandwich or were just thrown into the wrapper and not ACTUALLY put on the sandwich. See my tuna sub for example...it was SOAKED because some tuna was thrown on the side of the sandwich and the bread became soggy when it was all wrapped together. Jersey Mikes is open for business. I went shopping with my wife and luckily there was a Jersey Mike's on the way home in Ramsey. You always know what your going to get with Jersey Mike's, always fresh made to order. You can get a cold or hot sub, however you want it, your choice of toppings. I like to get some banana peppers. Usually when somebody picks up for me, they bring me some plain chips, but I was able to confirm today that they do have Doritos and some more chip flavors. They also have fountain drinks or bottles. I was happy to see that they had Pure Leaf tea since I don't like soda. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Everybody had on their face masks and there were lines on the floor for social distancing. You can lace the order for pickup, online or just go on in, but make sure to remember your mask. read more

This location is definitely A-Ok. The sandwiches come out pretty good. I've never been upset by the quality of the sandwiches here. Most of the workers seem like they're high school or early college age. I went in 30 mins before closing one day and they seemed annoyed. I've worked in retail so I completely understand wanting to clean up and leave by the time it's closing... but I also know you can't make it so obviously to customers. I think one of the workers even said they put stuff away cause they were closing soon. Came here on Super Bowl night since my boyfriend and I wanted something easy to eat for dinner. I've never had a Jersey Mike's sub before. We got a giant turkey and cheese sub, and it did not disappoint. Great serving size and great flavor. Tastes fresh unlike Subway, and they cut the meat and cheese in front of you. Wanted to quickly update my review because today, which happens to be my birthday, I got a free regular sub and a drink! If you enroll online you get this coupon on your birthday every year. You're allowed to pick any sub, your choice and any fountain soda. I think that's pretty awesome/generous of Jersey Mikes. The coupon is only valid on the day of your birthday, FYI. Long line so long wait but we did go at 1pm on a Friday. Ordered a #43 and #15 and besides the 10 minute wait to order it took 15 minutes to get our sandwiches. They didn't give us our cookies so I had to go back up and ask for them. The kid didn't believe me so he had to check my receipt twice. I was very unsatisfied. I placed an order online and was given a time. 40 minutes later they finally got to my order. I get they have to help the people who walk in. They have a whole second station I have yet to see used since they open. They should be using that station for online orders. Have a set person to work all online orders and rest work with walk in orders. Worse a person walked in after me for online order and hers was not even started yet. Tried Jersey mikes for the second and last time, got two "regular" subs, 1 turkey and 1 "the Italian" in both cases the bread was very stale, which really ruined the whole thing. I love me some Jersey Mike's Subs! So much that my boyfriend make it a point to stop in here at a minimum of once a week to get our fix! This location is always clean and the staff are quick and friendly. I love their bread and how the meat is sliced fresh in front of you and made just the way you like it. I tend to always get the same thing ( turkey, american cheese, bacon and mikes way minus the tomatoes ) I have never had a bad experience here. I hear the cheese steaks are pretty awesome here too with options of a chicken cheese steak. That's something that I will have to give a try in the future. Like I said before.... Came here for lunch.... SO GLAD I DID. The line was a bit long and the pace of the staff didn't match my urgency but it was good. I got the club sub and it was great. They have cookies on the counter and I usually don't fall for that stuff but i'm so glad i did it was the perfect sweet to finish the vinegar and salt of the sandwich. My friend got a hot sub and that took even longer but I will always wait the extra few moments for freshness. I will absolutely go back ( soon) and so should you ! read more

Shout out to the staff here, big time! I came in behind a family of 6 with 4 kids between the age of 3-10. They were scatterbrained and all over the place on what they wanted to order and what the kids did or didn't want on their sandwiches. I thought I was in for quite the wait, but the staff proved me wrong. Thanks to the staff, (no help or credit to the parents here) the kids figured out what they wanted and they made the sandwiches and it was my turn to order before I knew it. Any other place and that would have been a 15 minute wait and I probably would have wound up leaving. At Jersey Mikes in Ramsey, the food is really great for a fast food chain, but seriously the service is top notch. The employees really know what they are doing. They work as a team and are super friendly. Each time I stop by to pick up lunch, I'm amazed at how well run the place is. My favorite is the Big Kahuna. If you like jalapenos, you have to try it. This is almost as good as it gets for a chain sub shop. The bread is 80% of a deli quality in terms of texture and flavor. The meats tasty and fresh. I would definitely go in a pinch. This is definitely a decent 3.5 star for your tummy. But of course, I also now understand why I could never find this in New Jersey. There is a deli almost every block. If only half of them serve good sandwiches, it's still easier to get to one of those and get 100% of the quality. Slow, slow, slow and more slow. No sense of urgency when there are lines of customers waiting. Even if you order ahead online they struggle to get sandwiches made in a timely manner. They clearly need an 'adult' manager to help them set a pace and provide customer service. Skip this place and grab a sandwich somewhere else...
