Went there for dinner a few nights ago. Wings were good. The garden salad: while I like vinegar on my salad, this one was swimming in it. The pizza: I'm a big fan of San Marzano tomatoes but the sauce was only that. No seasonings; just tomato sauce from a can. And the crust was gummy. Pretty disappointing. Food here is always okay, but today the service was so bad... well it was awful. Wasn't that busy so that's not an excuse. Took the 1st 15 or so to be acknowledged, then another 20 to get a soup and salad, then another 20 to get wings. Ordered 20 wings and only got 10. Found that the servers today were very disengaged. Had to ask about refills for drinks and the easy miss was asking for very well done wings, which where just as the come as usual. We come here often but this, just scratching the surface, just the service, not just sub-par but zero par. A big -EH. Not to mention the time it took just to get a check, then get it re-done to reflect what we got, but not what we ordered. read more

Went for lunch and they have a nice lunch menu. We had a plain personal pie. The crust was very good but not a fan of the splotches is sauce. I asked hew big is the small meatball sandwich compared to the large. Waitress could not tell us. The sandwich is a 10" pizza crust folded over. Not much cheese and hard to eat. The service is good. I've been a couple of times now. The pizza is not great but I like the wings. Unfortunately mine were undercooked. The waitress took them back to the kitchen and they remade them. The knots came in a pool of oil. While I usually go for the wings and the staff is nice the quality of the food isn't good enough for me to return. read more

I don't eat pizza because of a tomato allergy but my son loves pizza so a group of us went for dinner. There was ample parking in the parking lot. They had indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor dining had heaters as it was a bit chilly that evening. The indoor had a large bar which allowed patrons to not only drink but eat and watch television. The location had televisions strategically placed to watch various games. The walls had photos of past patrons which is always a nice touch. I had the dry rub chicken wing, Caesar salad and the garlic knots. The dry rub chicken wing was delicious it was juicy, Smokey and seasoned just right. The serving size was perfect I got 10 wings which was great for me. Wings come in sizes of 5,10 or 20 and are topped with fresh parsley and served with focaccia bread. The garlic knots are topped with fresh garlic and parsley, olive oil and hand-grated Pecorino Romano. My son and his friends loved the pizza and have eaten at various locations over the years. The service was outstanding from our entry to our departure. The servers, hostess and owner were helpful with seating time to be seated and questions about the menu. So when I pointed at the happy hour sign and ordered the meatballs and then later pointed and said I would like to try the wings. Have been coming here for years- the staff turnsover seasonally but the manager has been here for years. Good selection of local breweries- Brix-Sloop Juice-Kane/Defiant and enough mixed drinks for non beer drinkers. The last two times we had a blonde Ciera and then a blue haired Ciera. She was a little new our first trip but today after some more experience and training you could tell she had the confidence and demeanor to be a top server here. Both times she was energetic, attentive, friendly and In a good mood- you never feel as if you are bothering here. The italian salad is excellent and your dressing is our favorite. We love the Italian long hots on the pizza- lately they have been duds but more the time of year than anything. Keep the holiday gift card promo's- we look forward to them. read more

I got my food to-go. I always used to order the meatball and ricotta pizza whenever I used to eat at the restaurant, so of course I stuck with my usual and got it again. It was yummy as always! This time I also ordered the garlic knots. The garlic knots were ginormous!! I've never had garlic knots with this much garlic on them but they were great as well. I have a rule of thumb: "If the restaurant looks too nice, then the food is crap" Boy was I proven right again. First of all, for what it is, it's too expensive. The margherita pizza is bland and is not worth what it is. The wings... the BBQ is basic and salty and the dry rub ones... those are just plain disgusting. The dry rub has some cinnamon and other spices that don't belong on wings; it almost tastes like someone just discovered seasoning and started experimenting with it. The garlic knots... again super bland, dry, and just unappealing. Save yourself from this place and just order Papa Johns, this place doesn't know what it's doing. We just had a Sunday lunch here. I haven't been here for about 6 months, but it's always been great. It's always had great pizza, super wings, lively bar scene, and all around, a great dining experience. Now, very bad. We sat down, the waiter was good and attentive, but the place was dirty. There was garbage under our table, which I picked up and placed on the next table to be cleared away, which took 45 minutes to be cleared. Meanwhile, two tables away, it was cleared but it still had bits of straw wrappers and garbage on it, it took an hour for that to happen, meanwhile, in the other direction towards the bar, a high top had a wadded napkin and many chunks of what looked like sausage that had been dropped off the pizza on the floor, not under the table, but right almost in the traffic area. That mess was never swept despite the numerous waiters and bar staff walking by numerous times.I had even mentioned the mess to our waiter and he couldn't understand what I was talking about. Aside from the sloppy and messy dining area, the salad we shared was great as always but the pizza was HORRIBLE. This place is famous for well done pizza and so we got a pizza that was almost raw, with a doughy feel and flavor. Where is management and why do these hard working people have no guidance? Sad to see such a great place go do downhill. It also looked like the staff didn't want to bother with the dirtiness and simply didn't care. In that case, poor morale. I blame management and at this rate, they will all be out of a job soon. I will come back if I hear it improves. Good luck! read more

Really enjoy this location for the extra crispy pizza, wings and beverages when that is what we are craving and looking for a good solid chain. When we aren't dining in, the curbside pickup is ideal. The space is large and can get loud. In the warmer months they open up the space to have an indoor outdoor bar area/seating. It gets super crowded for that exact reason over the warmer months so be prepared to wait if you're looking to hang outside on a Thursday or Friday night... Big after work happy hour crowd. I just love a good dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and I'm often able to score one here. Plenty of beers on tap if that is the direction you are going in. For pizzas our go to are the broccoli rabe sausage pie and meatball ricotta pie. As with any Anthony coal fired, the crust has a burnt flavor and the toppings are savory and plentiful. Their chicken wings aren't your normal bar wing. They aren't smothered in sauce or served buffalo style. Instead just nice and crispy smothered in sautéed onions and served with focaccia bread. It's ok food and the service is very curteous but they need to tell their customers who are gluten free the price of pizza is $10 more. I told the waiter that I need a gluten free pizza but he didn't say it would go from $15 to $25 for gluten free version. The food was great and enough that I was able to eat it for lunch the next day. I was coming here fairly regularly, maybe 2-3 times per month. One evening, we paid the bartender in cash and left. We returned again a few days later. I got there before my friend. The manager greeted me and I said hello back. I didn't hear another word, until suddenly, my friend shows up and sits next to me at the bar about 20 minutes later. Suddenly, the manager comes up to both us. And this time, he says we didn't pay our tab from the last visit. I have never left a place and not paid! I taken aback of course. I asked if he was certain it was us. And he said he believed he had it on video in his office. I asked him to please show us the video. Because I was certain there was mistaken identify. He kept me waiting for about 20 minutes. Then he comes out and says he couldn't find it. He asked for my email. I gave it to him. But I didn't find anything from him emailing a video. The really odd thing: He remarked, "Well, I didn't actually see you on the video. But I saw your friend." How is this possible?? We were together at the bar and paid together! I really think the bartender made a mistake or kept the cash. I didn't want any bad feelings, so I just paid the $28. However, I was rather annoyed that he claimed it wasn't me, but took my money anyway and never followed up with me! Needless to say, I don't go to this location anymore. Honestly, he wasn't exactly rude. But he wasn't really courteous or sympathetic to the situation either. I felt like my character was unjustly questioned without him offering any compromise. Needless to say, we don't come back here anymore. My friend is also honest as the day is long. And she would never intentionally skip out from paying!
