This review is for January 10th and 18th. I'd been telling myself I was going to try Jersey Mike's for months....and for whatever reason I just didn't. Well that changed back on the 10th. Ordered a Giant Big Kahuna Cheese Steak and a Regular Tuna. Both subs were really good. So today, I had to see if they could do it again. This time I went Giant on both. There will be lunch for tomorrow and the next day. haha. The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak? WOW! I let them load up the first one and it was really tasty. Today, I cut back on the hots, just wasn't feeling it, and the sub was just as great! The Tuna on the first order was actually eaten the 2nd day. Unlike some sub/sandwich places...somehow the Tuna did not destroy the bread (Rosemary Parmesan) with all the liquid from the tuna/mayo, etc. The taste was AWESOME! Today on the 18th, they duplicated it, but in Giant size. Plus they sliced the sub into 4ths...I wasn't expecting that but what a great idea!! So much easier to eat as a smaller part of the sub, and if you have leftovers...easier to just wrap up and put in the fridge. I have a new sub place!! LOVE IT! I don't know what's wrong with this restaurant staff, they're over staffed but still you have to wait a long time for even a small order, it seems they only care about those customers who dine in , you can feel the discrimination, terrible management , definitely not coming back ... read more

There is simply no better sub than the #13 at Jersey Mikes. I have had Italian subs at many other places but nothing beats Jersey Mikes. read more

Jersey Mike's is the third sandwich franchise in the area with the other two being Jimmy John's and Firehouse. I've found generally good service and clean restaurants at all of them. Jersey Mike's offers curbside as an additional perk. Jimmy John's costs less so I go there most often. But all else being equal, Jersey Mike's has the best cold Italian sub--that's the number four on the menu or five if you want it with ham. In general they have fresh produce and better condiments and a slightly smaller sandwich. But what's really shocking is that they have an amazing cheesesteak that competes favorably even with specialty shops. I like the version with mushrooms and peppers (Big Kahuna) but they have other options too. They don't have a meatball sub so go to Firehouse for that. They do have chicken salad and some chicken cheesesteaks that I have yet to try. read more

1st time at this location as we wanted simple meal before attending evening event and this was on the way. Much like other sub shops in Collin County. We eat at Jersey Mike's from time to time for picnic supper in park attending Plano or Richardson free summer band concerts. Tasty sandwich and chips. Worth the price. Health code violation alert! The cooks use the same spatula that touches the raw meat throughout the cooking process. Eat the Philly cheesesteaks at your own risk. This is not an isolated incident by the way. I've witnessed this on many occasions. I'll only eat the cold sandwiches here. read more

Fantastic. Outstanding. Phenomenal. Nowhere do you experience the type of customer service AND fresh and delicious food like you do here. Phil and the team couldn't be doing a better job. He makes you feel like family when you walk in the door, then it feels like his family takes care of you by making you the most awesome sandwich in the world. Cool tip: For those trying to avoid extra oils, especially PUFAs in their diet, they usually don't lay down any oil when griddle frying the meat for the warm subs! He said they usually get enough off of the bacon they cook on the griddle for various subs throughout the day, and from the meat itself. Enjoy that hot chicken or beef knowing it's not full of seed oils! (Yes, Mike's way's sauce is a Canola/Olive Oil blend, so may have to make some adjustments there if you're trying to cut back on the seed oils like me.) Either way, there's something for everyone at this location and Phil and his team's customer service and positive, hardworking, thoughtful, and detail oriented attitudes are out of this world. Since the opening, the first experience was good. The last few times the food was poorly made and sloppy. Not impressed.

Best subs as far as chain stores go. Hands down better than Subway and Jimmy Johns. Their cheesesteaks are good

Brand new location in Plano! I came in and ordered a #7 and the friendly staff really encouraged me to try "Mike's way", I did and IT WAS AMAZING. What is Mike's Way you ask? Onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices and the JUICE. The juice is a perfect blend of oil and red wine vinegar. The restaurant is really large and clean. Tons of seating and I especially love that both my 3 year old daughter and I can enjoy a tasty meal together. She had the mini sandwich and ate every bite!
