The sub was actually pretty good but the staff are in la la land. I don't mind if you smoke Mary J but it was clear they all had reached their limit. They are all kids and thats fine but there needs to be at least one responsible adult working there running the show. There were 3 staff members when I walked in. A broom was left laying on the ground by the door. Two of the staff members are in some sort of romantic relationship and were all touchy on the customer side of the register. It seemed to be an inconvenience that I walked in. After I ordered the two love birds left the store outside and left one girl to make the sandwich. Won't be back to this location! That's for sure. The girl, who seems to be the manager (I think her name was sirria?), was extremely unprofessional. Not only did I over hear her talking about her OnlyFans with her coworkers BEHIND THE COUNTER, but I also saw some of her naked pictures she has of herself on her Apple Watch. I thought food workers weren't allowed to wear those while serving food anyways. But what do I know? I do know that I don't want to be staring at a picture of your ass while trying to get my lunch. While she was making my sandwich she got my order wrong too, twice! Worst experience I've had at a sandwich shop. First their card reader wouldn't work, after multiple attempts they said just card declined. Not possible and the balance was thousands. Then they tried a different card. Still would clear. Finally did and I noticed they had overcharged me $7.00! I asked them for a refund then the guy behind me tells me that the sandwich they gave me was his. Yep. It was the wrong sandwich. Had a horrible experience today. I left my work office on my limited time lunch break to come to jersey mikes. I took orders for the other folks in my office so I had 5 sandwiches total. I did not want to spring 5 sandwiches on the workers with no notice, so I called ahead and placed my order through the phone. I was being nice and courteous, however, I would not receive the same treatment back. I placed this order at 12:00 PM and I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant at 12:10 and the restaurant began to get busy during a lunch rush. The workers completely prioritized the walk-in orders over mine and all of the other mobile/phone orders. I find it absolutely ridiculous and asinine that I called ahead, being nice to the workers by not springing 5 subs on them with no notice, and I was the one who ended up suffering for it. 50 minutes for 5 subs is absolutely pathetic. 10 minutes per sub? Really? I placed the order at 12:00 and I did not end up leaving the restaurant until 12:50. I did not get back to the office until 1:00 and my lunch break was over, leaving me unable to even eat my overpriced sub that I paid for. I watched dozens of patrons walk into the restaurant, order their sub, receive their sub, and leave, all before I got my order. Next time, I will not be calling ahead to help out the workers, I will simply walk in and order 10 subs if I have to with absolutely zero remorse or zero notice to the workers. Placed an order through door dash, received 1/3 of our order. After an hour wait for door dash to deliver and paying a higher price for such I had to call and have the rest of the order made and then go get it and wait for the order to be remade. I don't under stand how you bag an order and just forget to not include the entire order in a bag. On top of it the employee argued that he spoke with the door dash and he felt the bag had more. We called the driver back the moment he left when we realized there was not an entire order. The employees then proceeded to talk trash while remaking the order. Won't ever order form there again. Horrible employees and service. Furthermore, I get home with the other two sandwiches only to find out the one sand which I did get wasn't even right. I stopped by yesterday (after 10 AM opening) on my birthday to sample their free sub and a small fountain drink. (How nice!) I ordered the customized #14 The Veggie with a (foot long) white roll (they also had wheat, if you'd like, or gluten-free option). I selected ripened tomatoes, shredded lettuce (iceberg?), sliced white onions, sliced green bell peppers, pickles, and slices of provolone cheese with mayonnaise. There were extra spices and tomato(?) sauce or salsa(?) offered, if you'd like. They prepared my sandwich in front of me wearing gloves. It was a generous lunch portion, that I became full and saved the leftovers for later eating. For a drink, I had pink lemonade. All to go, and they wrapped it tight and neatly that when I got home, it didn't fall apart in the bag. The sub was scrumptious and moist and fresh, and the roll was easy to bite into. The pink lemonade tasted like, well, the classic pink lemonade ;) This location is @ Camelback Colonnade, situated between Pier One Imports and the new IHOP that's opening soon. Staff of 2 guys (1 prepared my other, the other processed my coupon off my camera) was polite and accompanying. To get the free birthday coupon, head over to their website and register your birthdate at least 24 hours prior where they would e-mail you the coupon for you to scan or take a picture of, and they give you a year afterwards to redeem. You choose a hot or cold sub with any 22 ozs. beverage that you help yourself to at the fountain. I am not sure why when I showed them the free coupon that had a scanner code, that they punched it into the register instead of scanning it but it did take awhile for them to finish punching all the codes in. Not a big deal. He's the one who opened the door when they just unlocked at 10 to politely escort me in. And, I did not need to show my photo ID. Lastly, the place was clean. Thank-you for my birthday lunch, and I look forward to returning someday! I had never been to a Jersey Mike's before and at first I was really impressed with the layout and how quickly they were able to created my custom ordered sandwich. But, the novelty quickly wore off as soon as I begin to consume my monstrous sandwich. It was....lacking flavor, and the bread was terrible. I did like the quantifiable amount of food that was on my lil basket, but unfortunately their quality has been found lacking. The overall taste is mediocre for how high their prices are set. I had some high hopes, but those were crushed. The employees were energetic and friendly which adds to the overall experience. It was decently clean with attractive decor throughout the entire establishment. Not going to lie, I don't plan on every returning to this spot. 2.75 Stars overall. read more

I don't know what the deal is this THIS Jersey Mike's. Every location I've been to seems to have the fundamentals down but this is one a regret each time. Today marked the third visit we'd had problems at this Jersey Mikes. After online ordering two sandwiches, I pick up our order and realize the bacon for our club is in a separate container. I thought it was usual but figured they had to wait for the bacon or something and decided to just get the sandwich off the line and add the bacon later. But, of course, I get home to a dry club that is void of either the mayo or oil topping (both of which were part of our order) on the smallest regular I have ever seen in my life. The times before this I've had my online order completely switched (I'm guessing they just mixed up the bags so, I don't know, shame on me for not opening everything up before leaving) and, when my wife ordered a cheesesteak, ended up with a quite rare product that they agreed to put back on the grill to correct-- but, upon return, came with a snide little remark that Philly cheesesteaks "just come like that". Look man, I get things happen but you're really going to sit here and act like the standard for a cheesesteak is a light sear with that much pink. It's frustrating to have such a outlier be our nearest Jersey Mikes (I don't know who the genius at corporate was who decided to let the Uptown location close, that one did everything right and always seemed busy) but the non-apology apology after the cheesesteak incident should have been all the warning I needed so, as goes the old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Wow, really dirty. Everything from the credit card machine to the drink dispenser to every.single.table was dirty. The floor was also really dirty. Empty bucket sat on the floor next to the wall. The store wasn't busy - no customers in line after me - and the cashier walked out to get a drink and completely ignored the straw wrappers and other garbage strewn around the area instead of taking 5 seconds to clean it up. Sandwich was ok. But this is Arizona - is it really that hard to know how to roll a wrap sandwich so the ends aren't open and it's not falling apart? Staff were all pleasant and polite - just didn't seeem to notice or care that the dining area was is complete shambles. read more

I ordered an Club Supreme Sub. The sub is compiled with Roast Beef, Turkey, Bacon, Swiss Cheese, strips of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato on a personal choice of wheat over standard white bread. The selection of sub sizes are: Mini, Regular and Giant. Lastly, The Jersey Mike's Sub preparer, asked me if I wanted it "MIKE'S WAY"? I Responded with a gleeful YES! The sandwich itself, was tasty and the topping and meat were nearly the perfect balance to each other. That balance of flavor, could have reached better heights, if only the main ingredient was present, THE BACON! Now, we all work jobs, where we get used to routines and thru it mistakes happen. But, how'd do you forget the BACON?? I will not lie, I did eventually eat the entire sub, but I was very disappointed. If this happens again, I'll start skipping spending money there, and instead eat next door at IHOP. :) P. I am a Jersey Miles fan, but this place doesn't do the name any credit. I went in for a regular BLT on white bread with extra bacon. The guy behind the counter put four slices of bacon in my sandwich. This means the a regular Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwich only has two slices!!!!!! That is per employee too. I asked for more bacon, knowing I would be charged more ( I don't mind paying extra for quality, or bacon). My regular sandwich with extra bacon, chips, and a regular drink ended up costing me $13. Maybe they thought the B in BLT meant bread. I don't know. But I do know I won't be back to this location. I now know why the place is always empty. Update: I gave them another shot and they nailed my sammich!!! I am going to upgrade my rating to four stars and chalk the previous visit to lack of training. I came in at 7pm with my Family and to the best of my knowledge your shop closes down at 9pm however upon ordering several sandwiches we were told there was no applewood smoked bacon now unless I missed my guess if I'm paying I should be able to get the sub I want what made it worse was the blatant lack of caring wen I wasn't offered a reason and wen I asked I was told not making more further more wen I asked for name of management I was ignored not sure if this is a model of how you conduct business but if so poor showing. read more

Because their website and app are down for "things coming", I placed a large order on Yelp (fulfilled by Grubhub) for takeout. When we arrived for pick up, the snarky counter person said they don't have a "relationship" with Yelp and when I explained and showed I had an order number she didn't even want to look at it. After more fuss, she went to get a manager - which she should have done immediately. While I was waiting, I realized it was fulfilled through Grubhub and even they were rude. That they argued and made the whole process unpleasant is the reason for the rating. Customer service is as important as the product you are selling. Plain tired of this type of behavior and of course, no apology was offered. No more Jersey Mike's - Firehouse is just as good with 100X better service!! read more

I used to love coming to this jersey mikes after rush hour. It would be quiet and everyone kind of relaxing from the lunch rush hour. But the last 3 times I've come in. I've been getting this employee that is just over the top. Can't tell if she's being a smart ass because she making sandwiches and she's a girl and hates doing so . Or if that's just her personality. I've never seem to understand her enthusiasm. Even the other employees just look at her like (stfu). But she continues. It's kind of embarrassing I feel bad for her. She's a really nice girl. This was the first Jersey Mikes we tried before we had ever been. Love the food and have cut out all other sub places since we started eating here. We eat at this location every so often on our way home from downtown when we are there, but now we usually go to the PV location because we live so close. The meats are top quality for a sub shop, the bread fresh as can be. The tuna all albacore. Good stuff! We have never hit a bad employee either. They are all very friendly and helpful. read more

You know how in the commercials they load up the sandwich and you think "yeah but in real life they never put that much stuff on there"? Well, this place legit loaded up my sub that when I left it felt like I was carrying a double wrapped burrito from Chipotle. This sandwich was stacked thick with meat and all the "Mikes way" fixins. It was delicious! The staff were friendly, literally every employee in there said hi to me. It was a pleasant experience! The guy who made my sandwich who I assume is the manager, was great! The other cool thing I noticed, was they also have Udies gluten free bread as an option. Now, for those of us who live with gluten allergies or preferences finding a good sandwich place with gluten free bread as an option is hard. No, I don't want my sandwich wrapped in lettuce ‍ so to have a good sandwich place that has that alternative is great! So I have to give this review an update. The owner contacted me and invited me to try this location again. They had made a management change and I was to ask for the new manager when I got there. I thought what the heck everyone deserves a second chance. The new manager, Lawrence, is super friendly and gave me great service. The vegetables are fresh again and the sandwiches are back to Jersey Mikes standards. What a difference from just a month ago. So if you have previously tried this location and were unhappy i say try it again and you will be happy you did. Thank you Duane and Lawrence for the great service! They took forever to start making my sandwich because they had to clean the slicer, even though I got a tuna. Then the tuna was disgusting with consistency of almost water. Then when I pay I get the wrong change back. Then my boyfriend got a #8 which come with bacon and they never put it in, so he shows them that there is no bacon on there and they argue with him for about a whole minute how they remember seeing/ putting it on there.
