Walked in 30 mins before they closed and they were very rude and not friendly at all. Very bad customer service

Really!!!! Ordered and paid online they said no orders are going through and I can't get my money back from the store

Bro . Next time don't expect a fucken tip . You guys be dancing and giggling but not pay attention to the orders you're giving out to customers.. 4pm wants busy . So there's no excuse to miss an order read more

YELP INSIDER TIP FROM DOREEN (AKA AZN PERSUASION): 3.5 stars - after trying Jersey Mike's a couple of times, it's fresh but too plain/bland for me. ***** I even tried getting it with mustard, pickles, and Mike's way and to me it's a little too bland compared to Subway when I can get spicy brown mustard, olives, green peppers, etc... Mike's is fresh and good, just not as robust in flavor, no punch. read more

"We don't do customer service here, this isn't Wal-Mart..." ...Then at least make a good sandwich. I go to Jersey Mikes a few times a year. I live right across the street and I don't think Ill go back. Bad attitudes and disengaged employees. My "regular" sandwich that I paid over 7 dollars for was not 7 inches. It was a mini. 5 inches. Dry with no flavor or sauce. Not the 56 on wheat I typically order. This is my revenge for coming in 20 minutes before they closed and right after they wiped the grill. Sorry for the inconvenience. Didn't mean to interrupt your conversation or stop you from leaving right when you closed. I normally don't write these bad reviews but this interaction was so bad I couldn't help it. I was asked "how can I help you?" three times because they were too busy laughing at my order and chatting it up behind the counter that they weren't paying attention to me. The quote of all quotes is that they don't do customer service because they are not Wal-Mart. You are very brave my friend because I would never say this to a customer out of fear they might go on Yelp and write a nasty review about me. Clearly owners don't know how their employees act when they're not around or just don't care but I'm really disappointed with my hometown Jersey Mikes. read more

The only reason they are getting two stars is because the sandwiches were good, so ill give them an extra star for that. This location has the worst customer service. The person taking the order looks like shes bored and was completely uninterested in me explaining how I wanted my sandwich. She told me to wait until it was on the board to tell them how I wanted it, but allowed other people to tell her ahead of time. The cashier was polite but is not on top of checking what sandwiches are ready. This resulted in another customer, my husband and myself waiting for over 15 minutes only to find out our sandwiches had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long. We were within sight the entire time. There was no reason that the cook and the front of the store can't communicate with each other in order to have a smooth process of getting their customers in and out. There was no apology and no thank you or a smile.. It seems that at least in the last year customer service is not a priority. We will not be returning. read more

I have ordered sandwiches from multiple Jersey Mike's including this one. However, if this was my first experience I would not be returning. The bread was so soggy as to be inedible. I would recommend caution when ordering a sandwich. read more

The best sandwiches love this place. Always get good service and everything is soooo fresh

Jersey Mikes is off the hook. Your subs are incredible. This is the crew at 7pm Friday September 29th. 4 young slackers that have no work ethnic. They gossiped openly. Took there time to make their subs with no urgency. We stood outside earlier and called just watching them. They did not answer. This is my first bad review of your staff. Not your product. My review my go by the wayside but Jersey Mikes needs better screrning when hiring. I know they are kids but please have one person with a little more responsibility. read more

By far the BEST Jersey Mike's in the area. Employees are always very friendly and work hard. The sandwiches always come out delicious. :)

This place has let us down 2 different times now. Takes forever to make food. Seems like the last 2 times the employees don't know what to do without someone telling them. Got our order wrong this evening, and tried blaming it on my wife? Won't be back, don't recommend. read more

We had a large catering order on a weekend (yes, we called it in the evening before to make sure there was adequate time to prepare) with several different sandwiches and special requests and was a great experience. Not only was it correct but it was made on time and easy to pickup. The staff was busy but made our experience great. Really nice group of people working there. Love this shop and will go back! The location is so easy to get to when coming from the beach homes off Harbor and plenty of parking. Thanks JM's. read more

*HORRIBLE LOCATION* Today we had went in and while waiting in line we had the manager (an older white man) refilling the sodas in the machine and his box cutter cut into one of the sodas and it bursted all over us and he did not even bother to acknowledge what happend or even say sorry... also more than one customer was upset with this location. Do not come here read more

For a chain sandwich shop Jersey Mikes is head and shoulders above the rest. Both hot and cold subs are well prepared and generous proportions. When I call in, the sandwich is always ready on time. When I stop by the wait is never very long, and its always pretty busy. Great sub shop. read more

Give me a Regular #7 Mike's way with added pickles and extra onions and I am happy! Always fresh. Haven't been back to their (public transportation) competitor since I found this sub shop. read more

OK, I'm going to be a little petty. I've been going to the Jersey Mike's at Channel Islands for quite a while and generally have been satisfied with their food and service. Stopped by today at 11:30 before any sort of lunch rush, wanted a roast beef with swiss cheese-everything's proceeding so far so good, not much swiss cheese but they did put on quite a mound of roast beef. Thank goodness I was watching as they finish preparing. Asked for minimum lettuce, regular tomato, lots of pickles and honey mustard and the young lady started loading onions on my sandwich. Really? I stopped her and then she started putting a giant pile of lettuce on my sandwich; again had to tell her a minimal amount of lettuce. She got the tomatoes right and did put on quite a few of the requested pickles. Remember, I had asked for honey mustard but another employee reached over and squirted a line regular mustard. I was starting to get frustrated and explain to them to please LISTEN to their customers. Anyway, they removed the half bread with regular mustard, brought over a fresh half of bread, put a tiny squirt of honey mustard on it. Geez. Thought I better get out of there before something catastrophic happens... Read other reviews were they would regularly mess up the ingredients-strongly recommend you order in person so you could actually watch your sandwich being made! read more

I loved Jersey but this location has very rude team members, the first time it happened I was thinking the team member was just having a bad day. In all honestly, this store needs to be more respectful to customers, when we are asking them questions. I wouldn't have come here but the other location closed becuase of covid, so I had no other choice to choose an other jersey mike's. The food is great but customer service is lacking at this location. read more

Second time I've been here where the only bread they have left available is only wheat... how do you not have the necessary bread for your sandwiches? read more

Because they did not pick up their phone I am leaving a Yelp review. Usually, a great place I order online all the time because I think it's easier to make a sandwich with no mistakes when you have a piece of paper telling you what a customer does not want on their sandwich. My stepdad loathes mayo, so when I ordered a sub-club today for 1:07 pm I made sure to just have mustard lettuce tomato. Now they put mustard on it but also put mayo. So he will not eat it. As a former sandwich artist, I always made sure to check I was making a sandwich right because this is someone's food and if I mess up they might not come back for me to correct it. Might not come back at all. read more

Honestly I would leave five stars because everybody knows the food is delicious, but almost every time I come here the service is atrocious. Sometime about a week ago there were three young girls working in the front and they were gossiping about a previous customer as a former manager myself this is extremely disappointing and is very offputting from coming back. From now on if I want to get food in the future I will just order for pick up to not have to deal with the people that work there. They look at you like they straight up do not want you in there however the people buying the food are the ones keeping them in business and giving them their paycheck which seems that they are too young to realize or comprehend for some reason. It seems like many establishments nowadays are like this and it's sad to see such a good food place turn to this as well. Like I said they are young and i'm sure myself and the other negative reviews say enough and no means is anyone trying to get them in trouble but it is a place of work and professionalism needs to be established. When you walk in you practically have to greet them and ask them if they can take your order because they just stare at you, and sometimes turn and talk to a friend before even addressing you. read more

I use to be a subway girl until I had Jersey Mike's. It only took one time to change my mind. I usually get the turkey but I've had the #13 and the tuna. The tuna surprised me cuz it was actually albacore. You can call in or place an order online for times when you're running late or the lines get too long. And they will because it's a great place. Nice place behind to see the harbor, nice view OH their cookies are TO DIE FOR! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Sandwiches Near Me - Oxnard, California

I ordered online, and when I got to the store they were packed because it was lunch time. An older couple ordered about 8 sandwiches and they had a line behind them, so it was a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, which was understandable. What wasn't understandable however, was the service I received here. There was a white girl with very light brown hair and blue eyes working the register. When she finally got around to asking my name for the order, she asked my last name to confirm, and then tossed my bag of food on the counter even though I had my hand out to grab it and then just turned back to the older couple. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" just my food thrown at me. Super rude. I wish I had gotten her name, but I wasn't about to walk around the counter to look at her name tag. I just wanted to get out of there. I understand being stressed out during rush, but don't take it out on poor customers walking in to pick up their order. read more

Trying hard to say something positive, sandwiches are good. But that's kind of where it ends. Have tried it again and again, thinking maybe just a bad day. Was concerned about not being very clean. Clearly dirt on the walls and floors. And while in line a crew member dropped a roll on the floor. He put it aside and another worker came by and was going to use it. I quietly spoke up and the second crew member had words with the first guy for not throwing it right away. Yucka! We tried again and phoned in our order. Arrived for pick up and they hadn't started the large order. We waiting 35 mins for the 6 sandwiches to be made. And at that point we wanted to get out. Very disappointing. Won't be coming back read more

Extremely slow service in person. They take one in person order for every 5 orders that are called in. How about rotating your orders. Been in line for 30 minutes. Still have four customers in front of me. Time to find a new sandwich shop that understands good customer service. Update. While in line, I asked to speak with the manager. I was informed he was too busy to speak with me. Amazingly poor customer service. This location just lost my support. read more

Get the box lunch for a crowd...it is truly a crowd pleaser and a good deal with condiments on the side.

BEYOND annoyed with this jersey mikes. There were 4 young girls working behind the counter all lined up ready to go. I went in early afternoon and there was 1 customer in front of me. I was in there for 30 mins, to order 2 subs. They girl was doing door dash while there was a line of us waiting for our orders to be placed in person. She takes my order along with 2 people behind me, and still continues to do the door dash orders will the 3 girls are just standing there doing nothing. This is just ridiculous and so rude. I can not believe this place runs like this. read more

They have very good tuna, and other sandwiches, but I wish they would have potato salad!

Obviously their food is delicious and my only go to for sub sandwhiches. I havent and refuse to eat at subway to save money. But I wanted to leave a review because of the managers great customer service. I had gone in the day before and didnt get a discount for 50 percent off a second sandwhich and when I brought in the receipt the next day he fixed everything for me as soon as he could. So props for that! read more

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET NOT A GOOD, BUT A GREAT SANDWICH. Customer service is top notch at this location even during this time of crisis. Gabby perfected the best roast beef sandwich ever! You b*stards! I say that lovingly, but I mean business nevertheless. What were you thinking when you created the #43 - world domination? C'mon...I'm gaining inches around my waist, all my fault I know, but I can't help but blame you because you're selling a legalized version of meat / crack. In case you haven't ordered the #43, it is a chipotle cheese steak sub with grilled onions, peppers, chipotle mayo and is offered in two sizes -regular & ridiculously large. I've tried to get into rehab, even going so far as to try your "Buffalo Chicken" wraps and the "Original Italian" sub, but my addiction never leaves me. #43 Giant - $10.75 read more

This is my favorite Jersey Mike's location. The sandwiches always taste so much better at this one. I usually get a giant number 5, Mike's way. Sometimes I get the chicken philly, mike's way with no lettuce, when I want a hot sub. Make sure you get their rewards card, after so many sandwiches you get a free one. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - I don't care what anybody says these girls make the best sandwiches anywhere. So good - Sandwiches Near Me - Oxnard, California

I am on my lunch break and wanted something quick. First of all I asked for a grilled veggie as a "sub" and I proceed to check out and they made it a "tub." A couple of the girls working were super sweet, however, the one at the register didn't ask if I wanted a drink, if I wanted to add chips, nothing. Total horrible service on her part! Not even worth the trouble to get the correct order I wanted. My "tub" is going straight into the trash. Not coming back! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Incorrect & not appetizing! - Sandwiches Near Me - Oxnard, California

I highly prefer jersey mikes to subway. Their sandwich's are always so fresh tasting compared to other places. I usually get the #26 as a wrap, which is sooo good. Best sandwich place ever!! read more

This jersey mikes location is pretty amazing! The quality is great, the place is always pretty clean and a few of the girls are super friendly and accommodating. The reason Im giving JM only 3 stars is their price and their inconsistent customer service. The price of their subs are pretty expensive, especially if you are feeding more than one person. After drinks, and a bag of chips a regular sized sandwich is $12-$16 bucks! Just a little overpriced in my book. And unfortunately they do not have a discount for bigger orders or regulars. And now for the customer service... Where do I even start. More so than not, I have a great experience with the girls. A few of them remember your order, are friendly and talkative and will even suggest their favorite sandwiches. However, more recently I've had bad experiences with the girls which is why I'm leaving this review. The majority of the girls there now are cold, unwelcoming, snooty, rude and act like they are going in for a root canal, when in actuality they're only going to a 4 hour shift at a sandwich shop. I'm sorry but if I'm paying $14 for a sandwich, I would appreciate a friendly experience. read more

I normally jump on Yelp ecstatic to leave a review for a business, but this is not the case. I'm a HUGE fan of Jersey Mikes but this location has definitely dropped ball. Ordered my food through the app on the my phone. (Never had any issues before.) Today was a different story. I go pick up my phone to see a line of 4 people, I stand in line, when its my turn to Order. Informed that I had ordered online. I jump to front of the line to pay. I payed, got my chips & drink and left. Once I got back to my backroom at work, I opened up my sub to see that it was completely wrong. No Pepper Relish, "Juice", and Bacon (Charged me extra). They had put together a #13 off the Menu. Not my regular custom #13 I Always get. They took something that was made very clear online of what I wanted and what I didn't want on sandwich and just threw in the garbage. I didn't even eat my sub because it was so disappointing. A complete waste of $16. The last thing I have to say about this location, is not a pleasant one either. There was a total of 4 workers. 2 off them in back, making bread from what I could see. The 2 others, were up front, 1 gentlemen who was busy attending everyone making subs and 1 young teenage girl too busy on her phone. The young man had to ask her if she would mind ringing me up. She look at him and shrugged, like she was being force to do something that would pry her away from texting or whatever she might have been doing on her phone. I was totally shocked that, she responded like that. Not a very customer friendly gesture. Will not be returning to this location & I suggest you stay away as well. read more

Always a good stand by in case one of the new places I try ends up being a disappointment ( which is often the case). I'm hooked on Mike's # 13 done Mike's way with a Jersey dip ( they drag the bread across the dressing and spices on the cutting board). Then I tell them to drown and bury it! (lots of oil/vinegar and covered in pepper/seasoning spices). Now- I try to just eat half and save the rest for latter, but that usually doesn't work out that way... :) read more
