Our granddaughter had a soccer game at Mance Buchanon Park and the grandparents decided to pick up lunch for all to enjoy prior to our next sporting event. Five wanted Jersey Mike's and 2 wanted McDonald's. We ordered from the app and our order was ready for pick up after the game. The Jersey Mike's app allows you to customize each sandwich, salad or wrap so it is as if we ordered in the store but quicker. Everyone's order was correct and I can testify that my order was delicious. I ordered a regular California Club, Mike's way! The sandwich had turkey, cheese, bacon and avocado. It was messy but oh so good. Sandwiches were plentiful and the maker did not skimp on ingredients. This location on North River Rd proved to be a great place to get our favorite sandwiches. This Jersey Mike's is always consistent, which I really appreciate. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when it's busy. There's plenty of seating inside (unlike the parking, which is tight and cramped, plan accordingly) and it is always clean. I highly recommend using the app for deals and rewards, and especially to save time, since the lines can get long during lunch. This location is busy, but it doesn't stop me from frequenting. I love the fresh bread and the quality of the ingredients. The hot and cold sandwiches are always made exactly how you order, and everything tastes fresh. Overall, it's a reliable spot when you want a great sandwich or wrap. The "Sub in a Tub" is another option, any sub is served as a salad, just the fillings. I just have to review this place cuz the location on old grove sucks so it makes me appreciate this place more. Order is always ready on time. Sometimes the staff annoys me a bit but It's always make correctly and tastes great. The prices for some reason are more expensive than the other location but maybe cuz the quality there is worse. I usually love Mikes, the food is good, and the employees are usually pleasant or friendly. I even tip most of the time even though I don't usually tip for non table service. Today, I made an order around 1:30 and I was not impressed. There was a bad mood over the employees in general. But one person in particular who made my subs kept asking me questions for the order and speaking down and not loud enough (I'm not old, I can hear fine). She had an attitude, and the other employees were giving me and each other looks of discomfort. I'll be driving the extra few minutes to Old Grove in the future. read more

The restaurant was clean and well maintained so that gave me a sense of peace knowing they go the extra mile to make the experience at this establishment top notch. The first time I ordered at this restaurant my order was wrong due to it being the wrong bread I wanted for my sandwich. I emailed the manager and let her know my concerns and they gave me a complimentary sandwich on the house for the inconvenience PLUS a drink and chips. DO NOT THINK TWICE when coming here! Grabbed a turkey ham sandwich and it was great. The girls were all very nice, but no one came out on the floor for the 30 minutes we were there. Every table was dirty and not once did any of the staff come out to clean the tables. We were the only ones in the shop. Food was good but staff needs to make sure the place is clean. read more

I ordered a Gluten Free sub and the care that they went through to make sure to wipe everything down and to use fresh knives and gloves was impressive. Everytime I've gone into a jersey mikes I've always been impressed by the high energy of the employees. The last couple times I've gone into this specific jersey mikes I've been so engrossed with how this manager talks to his employees while on the line. You can tell that the workers are Unhappy. Multiple instances I have gone there to eat inside the dining room and the manager was out in the lobby for just as long just sitting on his phone. Very unimpressed. read more

Have to update, this place has gone downhill sadly. We just got home with our subs and found hairs in both of them. One was a tuna and the other was a club supreme so it's not even like the same batch of ingredients was contaminated, but apparently everything is behind hygiene standards. Totally disgusting. Old review when they were still good. Ok Reino is back! This place is so much better when he's on top of it. I stopped coming here for awhile because he got transferred but now that he's managing, Ill be back more. This location has the best subs of all the Jersey Mikes in North County. Hands down. Tuna sandwiches are really good, I get the cherry pepper relish, which is a little kick. The sub is really good, especially Mikes way. The staff is pleasant and the store is clean. Food was good, as always. Store seemed a little understaffed for a weekend. But warning, do not leave your car in the Jersey Mike's parking lot! Sign says "For Jersey Mike's customers only" or something like that. We had lunch there and then walked down to the beach. My car had been towed by the time we got back, which cost me $445. Wow!! My review from a couple of months ago was removed. That's weird. Came back to see if recent reviews were reflecting my same issues since this location is so close to us. Long story short, my review was 1 star, it stated how the last THREE times that my family of 4 ordered from this location, our orders were wrong!!! THREE TIMES IN A ROW. No bacon when the sandwich is suppose to come with it, or dry as can be when asked for mikes way. Veeeery stale bread multiple times. One time it was even missing one of the meats!!! One of the meats y'all! Not to mention the long wait for food that you didn't even order. Not sure what's going terribly wrong inside this location and its employees but they either need better training or new ones all together who have some type of work ethic. Management are you listening? Read your reviews instead of deleting them. People are having all the same issues. Save yourselves the time and the hassle and just take a little further drive. Really long wait for in person orders. Seems like online orders are prioritized and the customers in line have to wait for the online orders to be completed. It is from my point of view as the customer, the business could have a larger staff in order to meet the demand it currently has. read more
