You can order a deli sandwich to your liking and you can build your own salad at their bountiful salad bar. The salad bar is really nice and is more often than not my main reason for visiting the store. Here you can create your own unique salad with a good variety of salad makings including your basic lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers plus potato salads, fruits and a great variety of other salad toppings, vegetables and dressings. They have a good hot food bar too with various meat dishes, chicken and so forth plus pasta dishes, potatoes, vegetables and more. You'll also find some nice treats in their bakery area such as muffins and cookies. Their deli carries Boar's Head deli meats which is a very good meat company and their cheeses are excellent as well. If you're looking to buy groceries here they do carry quite a few of the essentials. They have a good sized produce area here as well for your fruits and veggies. It is a busy store but the cashiers keep the lines going at a pretty good clip. The atmosphere is nice and it's always a clean store which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. When I am passing through the area I always make it a point to stop by and see what they have to offer.

Sandwich pastrami here was usually was better with less fat or strings ? 13.99 for sandwich , 2.29 for lemonade My past experiences have been good and maybe this one was a mild assault.

I would call ahead of order online in the future- and let some time pass as it will likely be busy like this for awhile. They use their space well. Lots of free parking. Brought them home expecting authentic homemade Italian meatballs and instead got something that tasted like a mass produced frozen food service product. The texture was spongy, oddly uniform, and completely lacking the flavor and character of real homemade meatballs. Honestly, they reminded me of the kind of reheated catering tray meatballs you get at low end buffets or grocery store prepared food sections. What made it worse was the attitude. The owner came across as rude and dismissive when customers raised concerns, and judging by many of the other reviews, that does not seem uncommon. For a place with this kind of reputation, the quality was shockingly underwhelming. I genuinely do not understand the hype.

Subs here are 11 inches long and narrow so they are easy to grasp single handedly. Beef (& cheese!) Empanadas $3.49 are kept warm and crispy in the carousel, and the filling packed a bit of spicy heat. A product of El Monterey according to the wrapper it was presented in. Their Breakfast Burritos $5.49 are more like burrito plus breakfast. The burrito fillings being those of black beans, salsa, and cheese, plenty of cheese, plus the breakfast elements of salty bacon and eggs. Cheeseburgers and steak & cheese subs each came with plenty of beef. I wonder if they would have added some fresh veggies (I'm thinking lettuce and tomatoes) if I had thought to ask. Service is pleasant at Marino's. They have their own parking lot for maybe a double handful of cars, right next to Al Wadi.

There are very few pops and the wood is high quality. We recently relocated to the Boston area, and had purchased wood from another source in NY. This wood is far superior to what we had previously ordered and we plan to order it in bulk next year. Bonus points, this quaint store has nice freshly baked bread, flowers and gourmet goods as well as some staples. Only thing I would recommend is adding some Iggy's baguettes. I really enjoy their chocolate milk (they sell Hatchland Farms NH & Thatcher Farms), but today I saw that they had coffee milk too! Thought that was interesting but didn't end up grabbing... I must try it next time ;) Aside from the milks, they also carry popular beverage brands like Polar Seltzer cans, Oatly! Oatmilk, Welch's juices, Newman's Own, Tropicana, etc. They also sell bread, sandwiches, snacks such as cookies and candy, and fresh flowers that are displayed outside! In the fall, they have a bunch of pumpkins for sale & in the winter time, they usually have some Christmas trees you can buy! Very cute place & highly recommend if you're in the area.
