The takeout veggie sub I ordered was very disappointing. Half of the toppings I ordered through the app were not included on the sandwich, the bread was incorrect and very smushed (almost as if it had been sat on), and a good amount of the lettuce on the sandwich was browning. My wife and I are certainly fans of Jersey Mike's when life calls for a fast and affordable sandwich. And this location nailed it tonight. Not all JMs execute equally, and we often run into locations that serve hard bread, too much salt, and old mayo. So we were very satisficed that this location had some seriously soft and chewy bread tonight. We now order without salt, and they delivered on that plus everything else tasted fresh and done to the right proportions. We'll definitely order from this location again. My only complaint is this location is organized a little stranger than other JMs. I'm used to the checkout being right by the door, making it easy to do online pickup. This one makes it feel like you need to wait in line for pickup or otherwise feel very awkward "cutting" line. A clearer pickup system would be appreciated. read more

I'm a big Jersey Mike's fan but this place is either hit or miss. 70% of the time my order is fine and everything tastes great. The other 30% of the time the order is either slightly wrong or is missing some items. If you go into the store everything should be fine unless before closing but online orders/takeout orders are hit or miss. read more

I've been wanting to check out Jersey Mike's for a while now, having heard really good things about it. I finally was able to stop by for lunch last week. While I wouldn't say it was excellent food, it wasn't bad. I ordered an Italian sub with added mild peppers, vinegar/oil, & oregano. It wasn't the best or worst Italian I've had. Personally I have always preferred to have my Italian subs hot, I love the way the meats taste toasted, but unfortunately Jersey Mike's only offered a cold Italian. That kind of brought the quality of the sandwich down a notch to begin with. The meat and cheese were pretty good, flavorful but didn't quite stand out as great tasting. The oil might have been the wrong choice to add, should have maybe went for mayo instead. It just ended up weighing down the sandwich overall and making it feel heavier in my stomach than it should have. The bread they used was pretty good. Thick and not too tough. It also helped in sopping up some of the oil they put on it. Would have been a much messier sandwich had the bread not helped contain the oil. The location was nice and cozy tucked into the middle of the Hyde Park Plaza. The employees were all really nice and they made the food super fast even though it was busy. I would put this place on par with Which Wich, maybe a little better than Subway, but nowhere near the greatness that is Penn Station. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Placed an order through the app - ordered a #8 (ham, turkey, bacon) with lettuce and mayonnaise on rosemary Parmesan bread. The sandwich arrived with no bacon, no lettuce, and no mayonnaise. Only half the sandwich had rosemary and Parmesan on it. When I called, the only solution presented was for the gentleman I talked to hopefully get a hold of his manager to process a refund, and that he'd give me a call later. Well....it was good while it lasted. Have you gone in here lately?!? Yeah the sandwich is legit 3 times smaller with less meat now. Started noticing it over the last few months. I ordered a second time a few weeks after the first thinking I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size...nope...the sandwich that used to keep me full for a meal now leaves me hungry and I finish the whole thing in one sitting. The guy that makes the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's is probably the nicest person in fast food. He was so friendly! The next time I'm craving a sub, I'll probably come back here just because he was so helpful and the service was great. Jersey Mike's is like a better Subway. The cut their meats and cheese fresh, and they also do hot sandwiches like cheesesteaks on the griddle. A regular sandwich will run you around $7-8. Their default toppings on their cold sandwiches (served "Mike's Way") are onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices. I like that it's lighter than the typical onion, tomato, lettuce, mayo that you'll get at other sub shops. Next week, March 28, 2018 is their give back day where 100% of the proceeds of that day are going to local charities. I love that this company gives back to the local community! Up until recently I didn't step foot in this place. However, they just did a big local charity day where they give 100% of sales to local charity. Greater Cincinnati area was to donate to children's cancer research. Because this hits close to home because good friends of mine have a 1 year old battling right now, I decided to go check them out. I was hesitant because subway is wack and jimmy johns is just meh. This place blew me away. The bread is soft and fresh. They put plenty of topping, unlike other chains. Everything way great flavor. I now have been back a few times and will make this place in my go to places. I really am impressed with the quality of food and leadership from this company. They made over 6 million nation wide that day and all of it went to local charity's. It takes serious character to just hand 6million away to benefit others instead of padding pockets. My buddy and his family who's baby is fighting cancer went and they treated them like royalty that day. Just an awesome company I can get behind. read more

It's a sandwich shop, right? So how can it be 5 stars? Service. I tried the online ordering for the first time. I like being able to see that my toppings are what I selected. I ordered one hot and one regular sub for pickup, and the pickup time was 15 minutes. Perfect for me to drive over and park. I walked in and as soon as the next person was available to help me, I said I had ordered ahead. I gave them my name, they handed me my sandwiches. The guy who had made the hot sandwich (not the guy currently helping me) even said out loud that he had added the banana peppers per my special request. It's a nice touch to see that the people working there are paying attention to what they are doing, not just working an assembly line. I have been to this Jersey Mike's location a number of times since living in the area. I have to say they have always made me a great sandwich but it wasn't until the last few trips that it has become absolutely out of this world!! The staff are so friendly and good at customer service I started letting them have more control over my subs! I order an Italian and just let them take control when it comes to toppings and extras and my subs have become out of this world! They know exactly which oils, spices, vinegars, or veggies are going to make my sub above and beyond. I have been going to Jersey Mike's for over 10 years, and I have been to almost every JM location in Cincinnati and N. Kentucky. I LOVE JM's sandwiches. They are sliced right in front of you, and every meat is premium. Nothing compares to their club sub. Their roast beef is the best I've tasted in my life. They also have wonderful pricing. You can get a HUGE 12-inch sub for less than $15. My roommates are always going there too. I would give the JM as a whole 5 stars. I am giving this specific location 2 stars though, and here's why. The first time I walked into here, there were a few young gentlemen working and watching the game at the same time. This didn't really bother me, but what got to me is that they were so engrossed in the game that they didn't pay attention to my order and it was wrong! The final time I went there after giving it a few more chances, a young gentleman named Josh was extremely rude to me. I pointed out a simple mistake on my order, and he proceeded to sigh, roll his eyes, and grudgingly fix my sandwich. And when I say fix, I mean he was practically throwing the extra meat on it with such a disgustful attitude. I wish I could give this location a good review, but after several poor customer service experiences, I cannot. Find a different location if you want a good JM sandwich. read more

Chick Fil'A has a reputation for having good service but this JM beats them all. At Some Chick fil a's the service becomes stale and the people are just courteous becausee they have to be but at this store the staff actually cared. The manager was the epitome of steward leadership and was elbows deep help his employees. You could see how his amiable actions and personality rubbed off on them. People came in and he greeatedd them by name and I felt like he genuinely cared about the customers. I've been a J. Mike's friend since I was 16...I held my first job at the chain! This location is everything I love and remember about working Jersey Mike's. The meat is sliced in front of you. Ingredients are fairly fresh. Onions and Tomatoes here are sliced daily! Hooray, no super moist veggies. The employees tend to be younger guys who are pretty funny and amicable. There's the freshly baked bread every morning and since I'm definitely a red meat kind of girl - their roast beef is amazing. Freshly sliced and not slimy like *ahem* other sandwich shops. A working guy needs to have somewhere you can count on a sandwich being made quick with quality fresh meats and bread, and this Jersey Mike fills that order. I love the staff here. My wife and I order lots of food from Jersey Mike's, several locations and usually spend over $300 approximately every other week. We have accrued a substantially large amount of points, as one would expect when you spend this amount of money. We don't usually complain, but the owner at this location was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I ordered a sub and it was missing items and had way too much jalapeno, so I asked that it be remade. Since we could not eat the food we agreed to bring it back. I eat at Jersey Mike's more than any other restaurant. Its the perfect option for a quick, cheap, healthy sandwich. You can't go wrong with a turkey wrap and make sure to ask for the sun-dried tomato tortilla. The honey mustard sauce is delicious as is the red pepper spread. I usually stick with turkey but I have tried many others just by stealing bites from friends. The hot sandwiches and wraps are great, especially the phillys. The best thing about this particular Jersey Mike's is the staff. The regular guys are friendly and efficient.
