Jersey Mikes is usually and predictably fresh, regardless of location. This was not the case for this high traffic location. Service was good, no complaints there. The place was clean and cool inside but for $33 everything in my order should have been flawless. Two regular sandwiches, two chips and drinks. Unfortunately the bread for my $12+ sandwich wasn't fresh and the bread crumbled after the first bite. Perhaps it was late in the day but if it's open, it should be fresh. Yes, I could have returned it and asked for a redo but this is a "one and done" for me and I didn't have surplus time to invest. This isn't difficult stuff. JM's employees wages are paid by sandwich sales. I'll go to a different location next time or find a Jimmy John's or the like. read more

Yo JM gets 5 stars for that crispy cooked bacon. Learned of the company via a Yelp community wide fundraiser event about 2 years ago and I've been loyal since. This location is my most preferred due to the pleasant service. They may not always answer the phone if they're busy but online orders are promptly and correctly prepared sans attitude and parking is plentiful. I've learned not all JMS are created the same but they do taste the same. So, Kudos on crisp..properly cooked bacon and the Shore Points shouldn't be missed along with a Tuesday special. Will never spend money with Grub Hub or Jersey Mike's again. I paid $53 for 2 sandwiches and only asked that when the food was delivered to ring the doorbell and not put my food on the ground. After waiting more than an hour I just happen to open my front door to find my food on the ground. I don't know how long it was out there as the delivery person didn't ring the doorbell. I visited Jersey Mikes today! It's been sooo long since I've been here, probably since my last birthday lol. Well I must say shame on me for not visiting much sooner and this location! Wow the customer service was a CLASS A! When I walked up I immediately noticed how CLEAN the restaurant. One reason I stopped coming to jersey mikes because they were so dirty. But this location was great! The guy making the sandwiches wore gloves, had in a very clean apron and the counter was clean. There were quiet a few empty bottles behind him but I believe he was in the process of filling them with something. Because he stopped what he was doing to immediately assist me with me order. I informed him that I was there to use my birthday coupon. He smiled and said, "it's your BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday! What would you like to order?" I wasn't sure because it had been so long, but he said... take you time no rush I'm not going anywhere lol. We laughed and then I ordered the Turkey Sub. It took him all of 3 minutes to make my sandwich, wrap it up the CORRECT Jersey Mike way and provided me with a drink. Smiled and said happy birthday I hope you enjoy your day. I love that! He was the only person handling everything at the time and he was on it! I did not get his name but he's in my photos, Asian guy very sweet! Kudos to you if you get to read this review! I like Jersey Mike's because they cut the meat right then and there when you order it. They don't have a tub full of stuff sitting there for hours and hours. I think that makes for a fresher tasting sandwich compared to the 'way guys. And when they slice, they tend to pour it on pretty heavy so I'd recommend being really friendly to the person taking your order and you can maybe expect an extra slice or two on there. I've tried this location twice now: 1st time the guy did NOT know how to wrap my turkey sandwich and did more social talking than anything. 2nd time I ordered a different (hot) sandwich, although it was made/wrapped correctly it still lacked the goodness I've had before (at another loc). Same guy from the 1st time was there but thank goodness someone else wrapped it but he was still too social for this "fast food" spot. This location is less than satisfactory.. 11112-A South Tryon St. I frequented Jersey Mike's for years now when in the mood for a quick sandwich either hot or cold. This particular location is near my home so I go to this one more often than others and the service is always pretty good. There is always plenty of parking and the store is always clean. On this particular day I was served by a new employee and his name was John. He is a family member, (younger brother) to another long-term employee at this store. I felt that the service from John was noteworthy because he was very pleasant, very fast and the way he prepared my sandwich was truly "award winning." The sandwich was beautifully crafted with meticulous attention to detail and when I told him how great my sandwich looked while I waited for the cashier, I noticed that he was working on someone else's sandwich with the exact same amount of attention to detail. John at this location is a SUPERSTAR and will go very far in the world of food service. Kudos to you! If you are having any work functions or need the food served to be prepared beautifully, addition to just eating it and making it nice for yourself consider using this store and requesting John specifically to work on your order. read more

I was in your 11112-A south tryon street location and ordered your #56 and this is what I received. I returned to the location and all they offered was an apology and my money back upon request. The refund amount was incorrect and they had to fix that. I spoke to Chastity director of operations and all she did was say sorry and text her my mailing address for a coupon. Really?! My complaint was not for a discount but rather for training and development. She had a million excuses and I get it could happen thats not my issue. My issue is put in place checks in balances like reviewing product before its handed over to a customer by matching the receipt. Over it! How difficult is it to read a ticket and make the sandwich accordingly... tired of getting home and finding missing items on sandwiches and or getting what I don't want on them. Hire kids that can read and have better customer service. They either don't speak when someone walks in and are playing around making sandwiches wrong or nice and still get orders wrong. It's just a sandwich with a few toppings my gosh just make it right. I was in a bad mood today, but that changed after my experience at this place. We went in at two o'clock and the people working were so nice, smiling, and there was an overall great energy and atmosphere. This being my first time in a jersey mikes, I wasn't sure what to expect but was given a wonderful experience. I had the super sub, which was awesome and fun to watch them slice the cheese and meat. They cut the meat and cheese right in front of you, they don't overwhelm you with all the choices to put on the sub and the price is decent for a sub. Every time I've gone it's always tasted fresh and by far, has always been the best sub place I've been to. Whenever I go to this location, it's never that busy and the workers are fast. I came here because subways closes at 7 now in steelecroft. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and welcomed. I informed them I've never been here and asked for suggestions. I told him my intention was subways meatball sub, he suggested their meatball sub but did say that it is not very filling. I appreciated that information. He said honestly the Italian is awesome the way I make it. He said someone put him on to it and he's been hooked since. I agreed to try it. He fixed it and let me decide the toppings. He also included the chipotle ranch. When I say this sub was delicious. I kid you not. This sub was delicious. In fact, I don't want to jump to quickly but this may be my favorite new (to me) sub. The Italian sub is so filling, I didn't even eat my side of chips which I find as a staple in a meal. I can't have a sub without chips but did this time. There were two people working, from whom I saw, the one making my sandwich and girl. Both were so friendly. I definitely recommend this jersey mikes and definitely the Italian sub.
