Haven't had a JITB burger in a while so I decided to stop in and try their newest burgers. Sorry I did. No employee was at the counter to take orders. Instead you had to use their touchscreen for ordering. The elderly couple using the ONLY available touchscreen was obviously having difficulty navigating the various options. Did an employee offer assistance? No. The only employee with a direct line of sight would cast a quick glance, then look away. The reason for this was obvious when I got my order. Our meals came without cups, and regular fries instead of the curly fries I ordered. Despite the best efforts of the employee to avoid eye contact, I was able to get her attention. When I told her I ordered curly fries, she looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. Apparently I was since it became obvious she only spoke Spanish. I'm guessing the only English speaking employee was handling the drive thru window. As for the meal itself the burgers were lukewarm, as was my wife's fries. The curly fries were hot so there's that, but overall not a good experience. I'm guessing the year over year visits have declined at this particular JITB. read more

I waited for 5 mins at the drive through window-wrong order!! A young man (I'm trying to be nice here) tells me he will charge me the difference and asks for the poppers back. He makes no attempt to reach out for the food and then gets annoyed when I throw them on the counter- then he throws the rest of the food in the bag back at me and hits me in the head with it. Nah. Ordered popcorn chicken with BBQ sauce and got a cheeseburger with ranch. Also food was hard and bland. Thought this was supposed to be a "you have to try this" spot. Very much the opposite. Also no cars in parking lot and 3 in the drive through. I understand staff in training, but the wait for 3 cars total was too long. First food review I have ever done, but felt warranted. Wow, why all the negative reviews? It's Jack in the Box! And on my visit, the staff at this restaurant was amazing, the food was delicious. I love the Egg Rolls at Jack in the Box! These are a must order every time I visit this place. They're better than any egg roll I've had in any Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at (pardon my English). One egg roll is like 2 bucks and 3 are under 4 bucks so it's economics that I stuff my face with 3 of them. I also love their tacos! Sure, they're a mess of fried corn tortillas filled with a meat paste and American cheese, but wow, what a combo and the price is right for these at 2 for a buck and change. They also have burgers which are meh, chicken sandwiches, pitas, and other stuff as well. Maybe the stars are higher as I don't have one near me, but when I did, I would go routinely for egg rolls, tacos, and their LTOs. read more

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Jack-in-the-Box and Uber Eats I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service I received at Jack-in-the-Box and Uber Eats. The experience I had at these establishments was nothing short of appalling, leaving me feeling disrespected and ignored. On Friday morning, September 22nd, after working for 16 hours straight and not eating all day, my only option at 3:30 AM was Jack-in-the-Box at 10730 S. Tryon St. I arrived at their drive-through around 3:45 AM and was informed that they only accept orders on Uber Eats after 4AM. However, it was not yet 4AM, and I explained that I had not eaten all day and desperately needed food. The employee informed me that I would have to place my order on Uber Eats, which I did. At 4:03 AM, I received an alert from Uber Eats that my order was ready. I drove back to the drive-through, excited that my food was finally ready. However, I was met with complete disregard and disrespect from the employee. They informed me that they were on their break and would not be able to fulfill my order. Despite my pleas and explanations that I hadn't eaten in over 16 hours, the employee rudely slammed the window and walked off. As a result, I canceled my order on Uber Eats and left the establishment hungry. To my surprise, about a week later, I noticed a charge for $29.03 from Uber Eats for that order that I never received. I immediately contacted Uber Eats to explain the situation and request a refund, but I was told that I waited too long and that they would not refund my money. I requested to speak to a supervisor, but no one called me back. I was left feeling disrespected and ignored by both Jack-in-the-Box and Uber Eats. The lack of regard for my hunger, the rude behavior of the employee, and the lack of assistance from Uber Eats are all unacceptable. I urge the management of both Jack-in-the-Box and Uber Eats to take immediate action and address these issues. No customer should have to endure such disrespectful treatment or be left without their order and charged for it. It is imperative that the staff be properly trained to provide the level of service and respect that customers expect and deserve. I hope that my feedback will prompt necessary improvements and prevent other customers from enduring similarly disappointing experiences. Disappointing experience here. On the plus side, their Coke Freestyle machine was completely and totally stocked, There were some lemonade flavors that I've never seen elsewhere. The restaurant was clean. They had just finished mopping the whole place when I got there, so that was nice. The condiments station was tidy and there was no litter outside in the parking lot. On the minus side, the fries were cold and the burger was both bland and messy. The two patties of beef seemed overdone and the ketchup was leaking out when it was brought to my table. I haven't been to a jack in the box in a while. But today I was weak. I saw that they now have spicy chicken strips and that's all I needed to hear. So go through the drive thru and after a couple of minutes I got my food. I dig into the curly fry box and pulled out a few crispy potatoes... really crispy and small. As I drive home I keep pulling out what seems like the bottom of the fryer curly fries. All over done too. I then cracked open the chicken strips box and again. All fried way too long. Slow, rude and incompetent workers. I've tried to be understanding, but the managers seem to just blame the lack of staff. They should still be training the employees they have to be a little kind. Yes, it's fast food. Yes, I know what I'm signing up for when my car pulls up to the drive through window. I know it's not five-star dining, and I don't expect it to be. Was my burger piping hot like one you would find at Cowbell? No. Could it have been a little warmer for my personal taste? Probably. Was it cold? Absolutely not. I made a breakfast (healthy, I know) out of their new Sriracha burger. Tons of spicy sauce, perfect amount of cheese to burger ratio. Came here to visit some friends with my girl. After going to an amusement park we were starving so we drove around until we saw... JACK IN THE BOX! I've only heard about this place since there is none in florida. I've always wanted to try it and I'm really really glad I did. First time ever going to a Jack in the Box, instantly hooked! Friendly staff, good food, low cost. Even gave me a cute antenna ball to spread the love. Definitely going back! I got the #2 and was a little worried that the garlic sauce would be overpowering, but it was the perfect compliment to the swiss cheese.
