The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. It has the perfect texture and flavor and is good enough to eat on its own. Every bite was fantastic, and the quality really stands out. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. Come hungry, because the portions are huge, and be prepared to leave impressed. Highly recommend!

Very clearly the best late night pizza option in Charlotte. May just be the absolute best pizza…read moreoption period. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

I also appreciated that it wasn't overly greasy but to me I don't love a sweet sauce, and this definitely leans on the sweeter end. The downfall for to go orders is that you don't get to order a specialty pie and I think that's where a lot of the magic is. It's hard to get a pepperoni pizza and have your socks blown off in my opinion. I think in the future I'd want to dine in and have the pizza fresh & do a specialty pie and see how it compares!

I went solo, I was hungry and heard really good things. I waited an hour and 5 minutes for a single seat at the bar but that's okay I get it they are busy. The OG pizza sounded good, it came in about 20 minutes. I like a thing pizza and this was super thin, however it was so crispy it cut the roof of my mouth and it must have been sitting around or something because the sauce was not hot and the cheese was hard like it had been sitting out for to long. Like I'm hungry so I hate half the pizza! But this could have been so much better if it was just cooked well. The dough taste good sure. But having good ingredients means nothing if you can't cook it good. I'd love to give it another shot some time but this was just not great pizza.

Had the Palermo- ingredients included Gorgonzola cheese and garlic among others. Minuscule amount of the former and no garlic noticed at all. Pretty bland. I mentioned both to our server who apologized and said it would be corrected "next time". We shared a Caesar salad. The size was certainly sufficient and price a reasonable $12. But the salad dressing was nothing close to a typical Caesar dressing. Very mediocre. Hope someone is reviewing food and preparation and getting opinions of others so corrective steps can be taken. Staff is very pleasant.

The Buffalo Chicken 10" was $12.00 and then went to $12.99. It's now $17.50. I thought maybe they increased the amount of toppings - that was not the case. The pizza looked great and was not burnt or undercooked - but seemed a little soggier than normal (typically it's more dry/crunchy). The service was still very good and pleasant. I certainly understand inflation and the need to make an operating profit, I'm just struggling to understand the dramatic change in pizza pricing (e.g. +35%).

The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

Maybe we should have started with the "Mother" but here we are. I will say the crust was a winner.
