Fast service. Good food. Spacious. Validated parking. What else could a girl ask for?

I love chicken Marsala and this one was great. This cute restaurant has reasonably priced Italian food and is dog friendly for outdoor dining. The employees were all friendly and polite.

Linguine carbonara

Interesting quick service italian restaurant serving a variety of menu items including pastas, pizzas and salads. They also offer a variety of desserts in a glass case and rotating flavors of gelato for purchase. The restaurant itself is very pretty with a mix of high top and low top tables. They have string lights strung up on the ceiling and garage style doors that were open when my group went which allowed for a nice breeze to run through the restaurant. I ordered the linguine carbonara which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al denté and the sauce was flavorful and yummy. I only wish the pancetta was not cooked so hard as some pieces were a bit hard to chew /crunchy in an unappealing way. All of the pasta dishes come with bread, initially envisioned garlic bread or a breadstick but it was actually small squares of what could best be described as pita bread? Which felt like an odd addition and was not very good. I ended my meal with a chocolate chip cannoli which was delicious as well. The perfect amount of filling with a nice texture of the added chocolate chips. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my pasta and dessert and the service was quick and efficient. This is a great spot for quick lunch or dinner and nice enough to have a good conversation there.

Met Albert out on a Harley Ride who happens to be the owner. After a long day of riding and socializing we headed over to the restaurant. Albert gave us a tour before letting us sample a few of the favorite dishes there. It was absolutely amazing and the staff service was exemplary. Cant wait to head back. Paul

Food and service are both bad. Don't know how to bartend. If you get takeout pizza expect to have to cook it yourself when you get home. I live across the street from this place and I will never go here again.

10'' San Lorenzo Pizza - seriously sooooo good!
Kenny C.

Wow! I came into this meal expecting a 4 star meal but I was happily surprised how great this pizza was. I got the San Lorenzo and the flavor combination was incredible. I need to start making this pizza at home - the sausage, sweet peppers, and onions worked so well together and really brought this pizza to life. I also did the Spicy Marinara Wings and they were good, but not amazing. I would have preferred them more crispy, but with oven roasted wings that's what you get. I'm going to try a dry rub next time, maybe it'll be a better texture. Overall I gotta go 5 stars because the pizza was that good.

I must admit that my expectations for this restaurant were sky-high. I had seen incredible reviews and wonderful photos (especially of the pizzas), but I was disappointed and in full force. Let's start with the positives: a very pretty place, interesting decor, and beautiful pastries in the window that make your mouth water just by looking at them. Now for the points of concern: the furniture is very worn out, with a torn sofa, scratched and dirty tables. It's a very large space but clearly underused. We ordered a spicy Calabria and prosciutto pizza. The prosciutto pizza tasted ok, but I must admit that the prosciutto didn't seem to be of good quality and looked like lean ham. The spicy Calabria pizza was impossible to eat. We like peppers, but the level of it is so strong that you lose your taste buds. Each of us could only eat one piece and we left the whole pizza on the table. Unfortunately, there really was no way we could keep eating. The price is good, but I don't think I would go back because it didn't surprise us.

Rigatoni with chicken & mushrooms- DELICIOUS!

The food is good. BUT the parking garage charges you high fees even when capishe validates your parking ticket. Rip off for eating there & having to pay high fees for parking. Don't go here with a big group and stay over 2 hours.

Fresh, flavorful, and made with care--Capishe delivers Italian comfort food at its best. The house-made pasta is silky and satisfying, the pizza dough perfectly crisp, and every dish feels thoughtfully crafted with quality ingredients. It's the kind of food that keeps you coming back. The ambience matches the food--modern yet welcoming, with exposed ceilings, hanging lights, and sleek industrial floors that give it a cool, urban feel. It's casual but charming, making it a great spot for anything from a quick bite to a leisurely meal. No fuss, just really good Italian. Capishe?

Food Ordered the Angelina and added artichokes. Really liked how there were options with regular pizza sauce and with no sauce. A lot of great food options but was only in the mood for pizza. I enjoyed the light crust, that bufala mozzarella was something special!! Nice garlic flavor, as well. Service Exceptional! You order at the front then pick an area to sit. Sat outside with it being mild weather outside and they bring the food to you. We asked for napkins and plates and they brought those, also. As soon as we were done eating, they cleaned up the table immediately. Ambiance Indoor and outdoor seating make it a great place to take in the city sounds with great company. I will definitely be back when I'm in Charlotte.

15'' Margherita Pizza
Nancy L.

My friends and I ordered take out from here for dinner. We ordered the Margherita pizza, rigatoni with chicken, and the San Lorenzo pasta. All were delicious! The pizza is a thinner Neapolitan style crust with fresh ingredients. The rigatoni came with mushrooms and a light cream sauce which was not too rich at all. Really comforting. The San Lorenzo came with sausage and was pretty spicy! This was probably my favorite one. Even the free breadsticks that came with the order were fluffy and warm when they were delivered. It was overall delicious! I bet it'd be even better dining in.

Carbonara with chicken
Jonathan B.

Food came out hot and on time. We also ordered a side salad that was good and plentiful. As for the carbonara pasta while the presentation was great, I wouldn't order again. It was very bland and lacked flavor especially in the noodles. Sadly I spent more time adding Parmesan and pepper to dress it up but still didn't do the trick. Maybe if I let it sit and try again tomorrow it'll be better. But seriously lacks flavor.

Greasy 10'' Calabria Piccante

I ordered the Calabria pizza and the antipasto salad. The pizza was so greasy it was inedible. I tried to get the grease off with napkins but even so it was so floppy and tasted like it was soaked in grease. The salad was fine. Also, it is counter service and they flip the screen around for you to tip. I tipped my regular 20%. When my salad arrived I asked for a fork and the lady bringing the salad told me I could get my own fork across the restaurant. They should make it clear there's no table service ahead of suggesting 20% tips.

Too expensive for a lunch place, too informal for a good dinner. Food is good however.

As a foodie transplant from the West Coast, walking into Reid's immediately reminded me of a…read morebeloved high-end grocer back home--something along the lines of Draeger's: beautifully curated, family-owned, and designed to feel like a destination rather than just a place to shop. There's a real sense of history here. From what I understand, Reid's is one of the oldest grocers in Charlotte, and that legacy shows in the details. The rich green tile, classic signage, and thoughtfully designed layout create an elevated, almost European-style market experience. It feels polished, intentional, and welcoming all at once. What stands out: * The store is beautifully merchandised and carefully curated with specialty and seasonal items you don't always find elsewhere. * The wine bar and café concept make this more than a grocery stop--it's a place to linger. I've enjoyed flights, tastings, and brunch on the patio, and each visit has felt like a small occasion. * Location-wise, it really depends on which store you're visiting. The SouthPark and Myers Park locations have easy, convenient parking, and there's also a newer location in Ballantyne (near Pineville). The Uptown locations, while not necessarily "easy parking," are incredibly walkable--perfect if you live, work, or have meetings nearby. If you're already Uptown, this is a fantastic stop to pick up elevated items for a beautiful dinner--think wine, specialty cheeses, or even something indulgent like caviar to round things out. One thing I appreciate is that Reid's doesn't try to be everything to everyone. It's not an organic-focused market like Whole Foods, and that's okay--it serves a different purpose. The clientele here tends to be people looking for specialty ingredients, elevated prepared foods, and a more curated shopping experience. Many shoppers probably visit both stores depending on their needs, and I find myself doing the same. When Reid's really shines: During the holidays and special seasons. Their selection of unique, festive, and hard-to-find items makes it a go-to for entertaining or finding something a little extra special. Overall, Reid's feels like a true Charlotte institution--elegant, distinctive, and consistently well executed. It's the kind of place that makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable again, and I'm looking forward to continuing to explore more of what they offer as I keep eating my way through Charlotte. Bottom line: A beautifully curated local market with history, charm, and a destination-worthy wine bar--perfect for specialty shopping, brunch, and seasonal finds.
