This is probably one of the worst Chick-Fil-A's in the Carolinas. It's always dirty around the kitchen and drive through, about 1/2 the staff is rude, and they are not consistent with the food. On my most recent visit, they couldn't find my order and it took 45 minutes to get through the line. When I got home and looked at my food, I noticed they only filled up the fry container about 1/3 of the way. I think there were maybe 6 fries in the large. I've usually go out of my way to the Fort Mill location, and today I remembered why. read more

Horrible service...poor training of employees. This location needs to retrain or hire better people. I would not recommend. read more

Chick-fil-A, What Happened Tonight? Chick-fil-A has never let me down. Seriously, every visit until now has been a 10/10. Hot food, friendly service, and that "my pleasure" energy that makes everything feel a little better. But tonight? Man... I was excited. Been looking forward to this meal all day. And then I opened the box... The chicken was a major letdown, overcooked, dry, and just off. The tenders looked like they'd been forgotten in the fryer, and the sandwich? Not much better. Uneven texture, kind of tough, and not the juicy filet I've come to expect. It's rare for me to have a bad experience with Chick-fil-A, and that's exactly why this one stung a little more. I know it's not the norm, but tonight just wasn't it. Hoping this was a one-off. Still love y'all, just not this batch. read more

This is by far the worst chick fil a I have ever been to. The food is fine. The service is beyond slow and the employed could not care any less. I've come to expect better service at chick fil a from other fast foods restaurants and this is worse than any of them. I hate coming to this one. Sadly it's the only one near my house but I definitely don't come nearly as often as I would if the I weren't so terrible. read more

Ordered Chick-fil-A breakfast via DoorDash--chicken minis meal with a Coke and a fruit cup. Everything was fresh and tasty. Only downside: hash browns were warm, not hot (but delivery may be why). I've never had issues with this location when visiting in person. Overall, 9/10--still recommend! read more

Food: quality usually 9/10. However they always miss things you have ordered. Also, why are you stingy with the sauces I ordered. I literally paid 17.85 for one meal: you need to out my sauces in the bag like I ordered. What is your actual issue ChikFilA Rivergate. Please do better. read more

Chick-fil-A has this moments. The food is decent depending on if they cook it right sometimes the pieces are either too small or sometimes the stuff is cold mainly their fries. But today it seemed like the line was actually moving pretty quickly as there was really no line around 5 PM on a Saturday. I know they do like to hire young people, but sometimes they do get distracted, so example would be that my fries were cold and that when the attendant in the drive-through gave me my drink, which was HI-c whoever made the drink just let the fruit punch spill all over the cup and then the attendant just gave it to me without even trying to wipe it off or anything or didn't give me anything to wipe it off. read more

Chick-fil-A - The outside of the drive-through - Fast Food Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Ordered food at 9:20 AM a.m. took 30 minutes and having to go back to the register to see if they forgot me. The service inside is nothing like the service outside. There were six employees sitting at a table while I sat there for 20 minutes never acknowledging. Most employees inside were on their phones way overstaffed but with very poor customer service skills. Also flies inside restaurant. Half the employees cd have used flyswats but too busy socializing. I guess they never expect anyone to come inside. They should've refunded my $27.99! Gave me two cookies that we did not want instead. Really shocked was my first time inside. Outside The service is always amazing. read more

This is the worst CFA in the country - bar none. The employees are not your typical CFA employees. Not friendly and slow service. Placed a mobile order at 7:04am. Nearly an hour later, I am still standing here waiting on the order. While I have been waiting, another person canceled their order and left because of the wait. Corporate should fire this franchisee. Just awful. read more

I honestly believe this maybe the worse chick fil a ever. The service isn't great there's always something missing in your bag so make sure you check that before you leave. The food always taste old there's only certain times when the food is coming out fresh. The staff is friendly but overall service sucks. I use to work at chick fil a many years ago and I'm very concerned with what's going on at this store. read more

This was the slowest chick Fil a I've ever been too. I waited in the drive thru line for over 15 minutes before someone took my order. And they didn't even say "my pleasure." Lol. Thought that was their thing. read more

Have been here numerous times. Feels like a hit or miss depending on how many people waiting in the drive through. The staff is friendly as they come to get your order. Then it's the waiting game to get your food. Two staff members bring bags out to customers. It can be overwhelming when line for the drive through is backed up. This is one of the most busiest Chick-fil-A in the neighborhood. The food is piping hot when you get it. I try to come when it's off peak times. Check your bag to make sure you got all your items. read more

This Chick-Fil-A is the most convenient in my opinion. I read the other reviews and I don't seem to get the same experiences as the other people who visit this specific place. The food was excellent and is exactly how I remember it, so I don't have any problems there. Every time I come here the employees were always polite and friendly to me. Which again, I don't get why other people say otherwise. I even had one joke about this one time they misspelled my name and said "I'm sorry, we're not Starbucks I promise" which made my afternoon. My only complaint is the car line. That isn't really a surprise to anyone who goes to CFA on a daily basis but the area where the cars merge, there should be some kind of traffic control device that behaves like a traffic light where it tells which car can go and which car stays. I suggest this because I've had times where me and other cars would move forward at the same time and nearly collide. Now if you wish to eat inside. Here's my take. You have some spaces to choose from. Maybe the occasional 3 or 4 people at a table but that's it. The children's built-in playground is what you expect. A series of plastic tubes that go up and a curly slide that goes all the way down all while designed to key into a child's imagination with colors and patterns. I should know since I once played here many years ago. Overall, I don't seem to have any bad experiences here. Just a simple Chick-Fil-A for your convenience. read more

Messed up with the drink orders, got a lemonade (that wasn't great) instead of tea. Overall a step below a standard Chick-fil-A.

There was no line. I waited for five minutes before I asked politely if someone could take my order. I'm from California and the service was terrible here. read more

I didn't know a CFA could be this bad. I moved to the area 4 years ago, and this Chick-fil-A was amazing, and over the last two years, it has gotten worse and worse. You have to wait forever for your food, then when you receive your food, it's cold and missing numerous things. Somebody has to come from corporate and fix it!!!!! The problem is, I am sure they are still doing record breaking numbers, because it's located in one of the busiest areas in Charlotte and thereby aren't many food options. I have never left a review for any restaurant but the last 10 times I have been, it has been terrible. I keep praying for new management. read more

Went here for lunch. The drive thru line was really long but it went decently fast. The workers were nice and patient for the amount of customers they had. There was a lot of seating which was open on the inside. This means if you don't want to sit through a long drive through line then you should go in. It also wasn't very busy inside so you won't have to wait in a long line. Like most Chick-Fil-A's the food was very good but my fries were a little burnt which usually doesn't happen. Overall I recommend for a good lunch. read more

This is the worst Chick fit a. I quit going to this location two years a go as 60% of the time the order is wrong. My wife really wanted the sandwich and some nuggets - so I go there tonight - first time in two years. Check the bag before leaving sandwich and nugget box there - good to go. Get home and only three nuggets in the eight piece box. At least they are consistently poor and now I learned. read more

Great place for a good chicken sandwich, courtesy and professional staff and their always looking to satisfy

Just left Chick-fil-A, food was cold. The chicken sandwich and the fries. Was distracted attending to a work issue. Disappointing

Decided to get a salad here today. Why I don't know because the last 4 times I ordered one it was not made the way I wanted it. I keep saying it's going to be right this time and ITS NOT. For a place that prides itself on customer service this location keeps dropping the ball big time. How can you mess up the order when the special instructions box on the app says exactly what you want and they still get it wrong. ITS USELESS !!!!!!!! read more

WORST CHICK FIL A EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! As a former Chick Fil A employee, I've never seen worse service at a Chick Fil A. This location is more than unacceptable. They are constantly getting my order wrong. I'm always missing pickles, have the wrong drink, and sometimes even the wrong food. Fries are half filled and my order is never right. But tonight was the last straw. Tonight I'm missing the BOTTOM HALF OF MY BUN!!! How does that even happen???? Somehow Chick fil a of Rivergate made it happen. They don't care about quality and only care about getting money, oops I mean customers, through the door. This location is a disservice to the Chick Fil A name I hope you get a visit from corporate soon so they can see first hand what's happening. Honestly I can't blame the employees. Bad quality and service is a reflection of poor leadership! Do better!! I'll be driving to Fort Mill location from now on. Maybe your leaders and employees should take a training class from them. They've never gotten my order wrong and are much quicker. Do better!! Attaching photos from separate visits. Wish I had documented all of the poor visits. But I probably would have run out of storage on my phone from the large amount of photos. And yes I am missing the button part of the bun. They put they put the sandwich in upside down and left off the bottom. read more

This place is full of incompetent workers who do not communicate well with customers and has bad management. Missed a whole combo sandwich meal, asked at the window was immediately rude about how it wasn't on there and we gotta pay didn't say express too great an attitude, as this was an inconvenience as we are on a lunch break. I asked for the meal again a the window and I receive just a sandwich no combo. Had to ask for tea again as it was to be with the combo ended up leaving with no combo. Manager was there at the window so not able to go to Managment per experience. Not a great leader in Managment she expressed rude attitude, inability to listen or feel compassion for a customer. Managment is the key to a great work place and this place has terrible management in leadership so don't expect to go to Managment with issues. read more

I ordered on the app and it glitched and shut down. I went back in to continue but it wouldn't pull up. I then checked my bank account and they charged me for the meal but they said they didn't have it and because I didn't have "proof" from the app they couldn't do anything. I showed them by bank charge and she still wouldn't help. After the manager gave me attitude and wouldn't help me, she stated that I had to call customer service. I called customer service and they don't do refunds since it's independently owned. So now I was charged for food I never received and the manager wouldn't help and I'm left with nothing but less money. This isn't the first time I've had issues at this location. Be skeptical when ordering here. read more

This location is fairly close to my house so I keep giving them chance after chance. Tonight was probably my last visit. Placed an online order for a chicken sandwich combo with milkshake. I wasn't upset that I had to wait inside for over 20 minutes. When it's busy, a wait is to be expected. However, when my food was placed on ToGo shelf, I opened bag to taste a fry and they weren't even hot. Annoyed, but figured I can warm them up at home. Once I got home, I noticed that my chicken sandwich didn't have the bacon OR cheese that I ordered on it. I thought maybe I was handed the wrong one but the sticker on sandwich bag said American cheese and bacon. Ugh. At this point, I don't want to go back to fix my sandwich. I enjoyed my shake, but that's about it. read more

Every time I go through the drive through here I regret it. I stopped last night at 9pm. The line was fairly short and I did a mobile order so I thought I'd give it a try.
