A terrible experience at this Zaxby's waiting almost 40 minutes for an order while standing at the counter watching other customers coming and going and the drive-through completely emptying. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, all I got was some guy yelling at me from behind the window that they were super busy. Terrible. I'm sad to say. We just got in to Charlotte tonight and wonder if this is just how the fast food places are or just this place in particular. I ordered a salad and asked for grilled chicken. They told me it would take 10 extra minutes for grilled or I could get the fried quicker I said I can't have the fried due to an food sensitivity and asked for the bread to not be given either. I didn't know there were breaded onion crumbles on it. So it came out with those all over the salad. Oh well I didn't know- but if it had been a full allergy it would have been bad. They gave me two salad dressings two kinds I didn't ask for. I had to wait at the drive thru standing there since I had parked in the waiting spot for my food just to change out the ranch that I didn't ask for. The order took a while so my daughter tried to go inside for a refill of her drink but it was locked. About that time the lady with our order came out. My daughter asked for a refill of her lemonade, and the lady said she didn't think she could do that bc there's an upcharge for lemonade. My daughter said ok what about can you fill it with water? She said she didn't think she could do that bc it would take her too long to come back outside. I wait until there are no cars at the drive up window and walk up since they had asked us to park and ask for the sauce change. I ask a different girl if my daughter can get a refill of her drink and she also looked at me uncomfortably and said she didn't think she could do that. I was baffled. When can you not refill a drink at a fast food place?We finally drive to another location for my son to get his food and I realize there is not even a fork in my bag for my salad. We came through the drive through at 9:15 on a Tuesday night. There was a sign taped on the drive through menu board, "Sorry. We are only doing online orders and deliveries tonight." No problem. We'll pull over, order and pay. 30 minutes goes by.... No food. We can see people in the window doing... things. Pull up to the window. They see us. They ignore us, then they hide. Zaxby's has been heavily promoting some chicken tacos and we decided to celebrate Friday with trying them. Alas, they tell us that they don't have the ingredients to make the tacos. So we quickly figure out something else to get sitting in the drive through lane. But it's only my second time at Zaxby's so I had to quickly check the menu. We got an order of 10 wings and some chicken loaded fries. There was a difficult time getting the order finalized as the drive through worker was maybe trying to multitask. Once we got the order, my wife looked at the wings and said "I think we are still going to be hungry". They were the smallest wings we've ever seen, probably had been sitting around for longer than they should have. The loaded fries had unmelted cheese which indicated that they don't have a good process for making it. I don't remember the first experience being too great either. The ads show delicious food, but it's either unavailable or doesn't meet expectations. read more

We ordered through app--picked up in drive through at the designated time--one item was wrong (correct on bill, but wrong item included), fries were old, food was cold, chicken in sandwich was over cooked, bun was stale. This was the 2nd time I've tried Zaxby's and the 2nd time I've been disappointed. There are too many other good chicken places around to be disappointed again. read more

Food was good and hot. The line was very long. Staff is very slow. Staff were pleasant and professional.

The fried chicken salad was good as recommended by my friend. It was a good size salad for the price. I wasn't to fond of the boneless wings because they had too much breading for me. My granddaughter loved the French fries which I thought had a very good seasoning on them. My first time here, I will go back again. It's your average fast food joint. read more

Tonight the food was not good at all!!! Both the nibbled meals we ordered had burnt bread which ruined all the sandwiches. When we opened the box all we could smell was burnt bread. The fries were soggy and a lot less than previous visits. It feels like it was a bad night b/c the drive thru was busy and the person that took our order had a slight attitude and left in the middle of our order. Literally the worst Zaxby's location in both of the Carolinas. I waited in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. Ordered a Wings and things and my girlfriend ordered Boneless wings. First off our food was completely cold when I opened it which is virtually impossible since it was opened 2 minutes after pickup. Secondly, my chicken tenders were the size of nuggets. It's supposed to be a fast food restaurant but unfortunately they fail to make it fast. The service was ok they are all trying and that what matters but they aren't trying hard enough they do everything at the speed of a sloth. I wish it were possible to give TEN stars! I took my friend to Zaxby's in Fort Mill today for a birthday celebration, and we were served by Vickie. She made us feel incredibly welcome, and the food was absolutely out of this world. I had the Cobb salad, and my friend had the Tacos. We also enjoyed the fried cucumbers and the cheesecake bites for dessert. Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but the whole atmosphere was awesome. We will definitely be going back and hope to be lucky enough to have Vickie serve us again. She provides the best customer service you could ask for! read more

My experience with my husband at this location was unsatisfactory this evening. The male at the drive thru appeared to be more focused on our car. After my husband lowered the window to pay, the male appears more focused on our shopping bag inside of the car. He left us and the female staff member returned with him inquiring about what we were saying and wanted to know what kind of shopping bag we had in our car. My husband was then perplexed and shared the retail store name on the shopping bag. My husband also confirmed that we were not saying anything pertaining to them. The female staff member proceeded to walk away and appeared angry. The male staff proceeded to give us our food and drink but continued to gaze at us. After we departed, we realized that they were upset about our retail shopping choice. We then threw away our food and drink because we didn't feel safe. It felt as if it was a silent protest against where we choose to shop. However, I wonder if they realize poor customer service can lead to decreased customers. read more

The line in the drive through was around the building so I went inside. I ordered a 30 piece family meal with the two orders of fries and the four pieces of toast. After waiting 25 minutes, I asked where my food was. The cook "be like - nah, I ain't even started that" - WHAT? So I get home and there aren't even 30 pieces in the box. If you're going to make me wait even longer than I would have in the drive through, at least throw me a bone. Nope.
