My life has changed for the better because I grew up and started getting more than just turkey and cheese on plain bread!!!!!!!!!! I love J-mikes so much. SO much. The Brighton location is also so well-kept with such friendly staff. My go to is a number 7 with bacon, red pepper relish, mayo, honey mustard, and banana peppers done Mike's way on rosemary parmesan bread. It is a wetter order but eat it before the bread gets soggy and you're set. You gotta get the #43 Chipotle Mayo Cheese Steak (and ask to add BBQ sauce in addition to the chipotle mayo). SO good. Pro tip: Use the app to order online/pickup in store because the rewards are pretty good. I haven't had Jersey Mike's in a little, and then ordered myself a #43 (with bbq sauce of course) and was pleasantly surprised it was free after all my points from previous purchases adding up. I hate that I'm even writing this, don't like to leave reviews, but Celiacs be warned, went in there on an evening night to order a quick sub hearing that they have udi's gluten free rolls and practiced safe cross contamination measures which they did not even bother with. Told the worker I had a gluten allergy to which she wrote down but then just watched the sandwich maker continue to make my sub on the same counter, same gloves, same knife, same spatula. Not a care in the world, I get it there's cross contamination risks but this guy didn't even bother to start preparing my food without any effort against it...Will not be returning. There is not one polite employee at this Jersey Mike's location. Even worse, more often than not, the order is incorrect. I've mobile ordered a good 30 times from this location and there is almost always something wrong. I'd be less likely to complain if the employees would at least acknowledge you when you walk in. I still go here on occasion out of convenience but prefer the Arsenal Yards store, or the Route 1 in Dedham location. If hate your job, get a new job. read more

I used to be a regular customer at this Jersey Mike's. Now, I don't think I will ever go again. Here's why: Last Saturday, I ordered a large sub to be delivered by DoorDash and ended up paying through the nose ($36 with tip!). That's NOT why I'm upset. They got the order wrong and sent me the wrong sandwich. That's NOT why I'm upset. I called the store to let them know and asked them how to fix it. The person I spoke to told me to call Door Dash and tell them that I did not receive the order. They would then reprocess the order and it'd be fixed. I told her that this was not ethical. While I think DoorDash is a racket, they did everything correctly. It was Jersey Mike's mistake. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager got on the phone and also told me to call DoorDash and cancel the order. I told him that this was bad business and unethical and that they should be trying to fix the problem. They ended up reimbursing me but that was not their first reaction. read more

Have you seen the article by Jay Wilson on 14 things jersey Mike's employees wish you would stop doing. I was appalled while reading this I guess customers need to be more concerned with Jersey Mike's employees then with what they really want and expect from a sandwich shop I can't believe they have the audacity to list things that annoy them when it's great customer service is what they should be seeking. It appears it's all about the employees and the hell with the customer they want you to order a certain way. There are certain things you cannot say should say not say they speak about Mike's way. They mention that many people hear that as microwaved I thought that the minute I heard an employee ask me if I would like it Mike's way, clearly if many people hear it that way maybe they should change it. Okay, hear me out. I know Jersey Mike's is not everyone's idea of a splurge, but I eat out very rarely. I have ordered a sub from a Jersey Mike's elsewhere in Boston, but this specific location on Washington St in Brighton? I don't know what it is man, but the subs are just built different at this location. I have driven an extra 15 to pick up here instead of one closer to me. I went in on Sunday and ordered a big kahuna steak sandwich... it was so mightily filled with meat cheese and toppings that I needed a fork to scoop up and eat all that fell out in between bites. Jersey Mikes I recently placed an order to your Brighton location in Boston via DoorDash I ordered my go to sandwich the Giant Big Kahuna with extra Bacon and steak. The sandwich arrived but did not have the extra on it. I called the store not really expecting the outstanding customer service response I received from Amanda who simply apologized and offered to give me an in store credit for the item. Or the option to be refunded through DoorDash. I was very impressed with the professionalism and customer service of Amanda that I opted for the store credit which would only be redeemable by in person visit. The following week I called the store to speak with the manager on duty Caitlin to make her aware of the Excellent experience in customer service I had received.Ok this is where it goes next level. I told Caitlin I would be ordering the same sandwich today via DoorDash as I was at work and could not come to the store today but would try later on in the week. Caitlin says order some chips and a drink and I will send the store credited sandwich along. I was instructed to call after placing the order. I got a little busy at work and by the time I called the order was picked up by DoorDash without the sandwich. Caitlin saw I was 10 min away and delivered the sandwich herself. Level 3! The wait times are very long. One slicer to manage online orders, and in store in person orders. I waited, watching the employees make online orders multiple sandwiches as I stood there and waited to order. All the while there is a separate station in the back line with a slicer and a grill with nobody using them. I spoke to the manager about it and said it's frustrating and difficult to watch you make sandwiches for people that aren't even here yet. I like the sandwiches but it's painful getting them. Need more Than one person making sandwiches. Online orders can be 45 minutes. This is the reason I go in person however, now we just have to wait for them to make the online orders before you get a chance to order in person. The employees are trying to please everyone, but I think they're in a difficult position due to the model of unused resources within the establishment. read more

Jersey Mikes disrespects the gluten free community. Although they offer gluten free bread everytime I have gotten a gluten free snadwhich it takes dramatically longer than my friends orders even when i order before. If they cant cater to allergies in their space then they shouldnt offer the ingresdiants. OR treat all the sandwhiches the same. read more

My Ham & Provolone sub was tasty, but I was SHOCKED by the SKIMPY fillings and HUGE price tag. I paid $14 for what I can get elsewhere for half the price. This place is a HARD NO! We came in last Saturday and we were running late for a football game, and the four employees were so kind to us and understood we were in a time crunch without us needing to say anything.
