    Everythingless everything bagels

I'm from New York City, I've had the best bagels, and these did not come close. The bagel was inedible, black, and burnt. They served me black, burnt, inedible bagels, three different times I went there. Then I went for a fourth time and they charged me twice for one extra cream cheese I got. There was barely any anything "everything" on the everything bagels.

Was really delish but expected more meat for $18. It was mostly coleslaw with a thin slice of corned beef on the top and bottom.

Whoa Mama Mamaleh's rocks! I have really liked everything I have tried here. From super fresh veggies in salad and on bagels, creamy schmears, solid tuna/whitefish salad, and flavorful meats (salami + corned beef tried), and great breads. Love the selection of Dr. Browns soda including my fave diet cream soda, rugelach, pickles, and fun extras like Zab's hot sauce and house dill/herb seasoning. Staff has always been cool with my indecisive, overly specific order and Brookline location has a cute lively little dining area. It's like a bit of Reins from CT here in Brookline! I just wish this location was open a tad later... Check it out!

Delicious food, great customer service, reliable delivery, I am a huge fan of Mamaleh's Brookline! I used to order from their Cambridge location but do not see a large difference wrt consistency and quality between the two locations. Great food and check out their merchandise too, I got a hilarious "call your mother" pen

Take out was great! Beautiful design on the paper that they wrapped the pickles and sandwich in. After telling my mom (who lives far away) I was sick she ordered of matzah ball soup for me from here, which was a wonderful treat. The pieces of chicken were delicious, and all the vegetables were also wonderful- al dente. The matzah ball was pillowy. My boyfriend had the pastrami sandwich. He really enjoyed it. Wouldn't be complete without the coleslaw and pickles- which I had to split with him, because it's one of my favorite parts of the Jewish deli experience.

Dining method: take out Item(s) ordered: Nova Lox sandwich on gluten-free bread Service: Very quick and staff are very kind Value: a bit pricey but very delicious The Review: I come at this Mamaleh's review, newly gluten-free. The mamaleh's deli-style shop is adorable, and reminiscent of a NYC deli or bagel shop. The gluten-free bread was delicious, and paired nicely with the toppings, as a bagel substitute. The lox sandwich satisfied my bagel craving, though it could do with a bit more lox for the price. I really enjoyed this Mamaleh's creation, and I will certainly be back for more.

Came here on a Sunday morning with my boyfriend and his dad. We were looking for a knockout bagel with a casual vibe, and we got exactly what we were looking for. This authentically Jewish bagel shop is so much more than your typical Sunday hangover bagel sandwich. The brioche rolls melted in our mouth, and the Sparkling pickle lemonade was surprisingly delightful! Service was quick and friendly, the seating area was very clean. I will definitely be coming back!

My friend and I decided to swing by for a tasty lunch the other day. It wasn't super crowded, though it was midday on a weekday, so I can't speak to how busy it is on the weekend. I enjoyed my pastrami egg and cheese - the pastrami was delicious while the challah bread had a great flavor and texture. My friend seemed to enjoy her salad. I also learned how many bagels tall I am, so that was fun!

Sour pickles! Lox, whitefish salad oh how I've missed you!

Oh how this East coaster missed deli. Fabulous food & what a beautiful platter. Oh how I've missed this. Pass me a bagel!

You still order at the counter and they tell you when your food is ready. Ours took about 10 min to come out. I got the greens bacon (Swiss chard, bacon, spicy mayo, ciabatta). Even though you'd expect the bacon to be the main flavor, the Swiss Chard flavor is actually what came through the most and I was delicious and well cooked/seasoned. The bacon was a thicker cut but didn't add too much flavor, more saltiness. The mayo was almostttt a little too much. But good flavor and spice. Bread was perfectly soft and held up well. My partner got the turkey 1000 without cheese (All-natural turkey, crispy shallots, 1000 island, brioche). He said everything tasted high quality but the crispy shallots made it.

Both sandwiches blessed by chef kisses. So good

However per my cousin, it was absolutely a gamble getting into Monica's due to its popularity. It's your typical Italian deli and stocked with many of yummy bites. I couldn't pass up the burrata special, holy cow, was this fresh. Every bite I wanted more. The balsamic had a lovely twang to it. Super fresh produce and fresh bread!! Can't beat it!

Looks very authentic inside like a restaurant / deli you might find in Firenze. I decided to order the Italian Sub as they make it; no changes. In hindsight, I should've changed a few things I kind of knew I wouldn't like, but wanted to roll with their take on the classic sub. The bread was very fresh and the meats abundant and plentiful! I was not a fan of the balsamic, nor the "hots" (not "hot" so-to-speak, but kind of a marinated sweet pepper, nor am a fan of sweet pickles. Condiments on their sandwich...? Mayonnaise (none), mustard (none). I believe it's only balsamic and EVIO. I ate a half sandwich and was quite full. I honestly threw the other half out. Wasn't my jam. That being said, this unassuming sandwich shop in coolidge corner does have some very tasty options and I'll come back again. On this particular occasion, I ordered the Luck7 seven sub: Lucky 7 (turkey breast, our homemade coleslaw, russian dressing & melted swiss on toasted sub roll) $10.95 - The coleslaw on this is sweet and acidic without being too vinegary. It's the perfect balance to a heaping amount of turkey and delicious swiss cheese. However, if you look t the photo, it looks like only half a sub roll was used. I loved this sandwich, but I found myself still hungry after finishing it, and for $10.95, I would have loved a larger portion. Still though, it's really great, and there is a good amount of meat in the actual sandwich. All in all, I will be back because the taste of the subs are really great and they have a lot of good options on their menu, but it gets a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 because of the price and portion size.
