Wonderful little dinner. The waitresses remember you, even after years have passed. My husband's job requires travel and our family has spend a lot of time in Fallon, so much time that one particular (I wish I could remember your name, your daughter also works at the restaurant) waitress remembers us every time we walk into the restaurant. We've always had fabulous service. We actually had Thanksgiving at Jerry's. I appreciate the fact they were open. You can't go wrong with Jerry's! read more

This place was terrible. We waited 20 minutes to even have our drink order taken. It was also very disappointing when our food arrived because some orders were incorrect while others food was between luke warm or just straight cold. Our food order took about 40 minutes to be served, out of which I wouldn't be surprised if the plates had sat in the window for 20 of them. When asking for things from our order which had been forgotten, we received attitude and plain rude behavior from rolling eyes to sliding the plate across the table. What was really odd was it seemed like out waitress would stop by all the other tables in our section and then just skip our repeatedly as if we weren't sitting there. Overall I'm not sure if the waitress was to blame or the kitchen because I did eat here twice before and the service was better. After this experience though I can say I'll never give this place my business again. If I could give no stars I would. read more

We waited over and hour while others who came in after us were served their food. When we inquired all we got were lame excuses and NO apology. We got up and left. read more

This place has just tanked. Ordered two sandwiches, sat for nearly 45 minutes before receiving our food. In the meantime four other tables were sat and fed. Used to be a decent diner. Not so much anymore. read more

Service was great. I asked for extra creams & sugars...she brought me 20 of each. They kept my coffee full!! Chicken Fried Steak was gigantic and TASTY!! Chocolate Cream Pie was so fluffy and yummy. The crust was amazing too! Bottomless coffee + huge meal (green beans, Texas toast, baked potato, salad, CFS w/ delicious gravy) + big slice of pie = $15. read more

Took my son there for breakfast on a Monday, mid morning - we waited for more than 30 minutes before we got to order and the waitress (Donna J C.) was the most inattentive waitress I've been served by in a long time. My coffee cup stayed empty, my son asked for water after finishing his chocolate milk - it never came, and she never stopped back at our table to ask how things were. It wasn't really that busy so it wasn't that... maybe 4 tables were occupied and a few people at the counter. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because my son devoured his strawberry and whipped cream topped pancakes and my omelet was decent. The environment is welcoming, however, I don't think I'll be eating there again unless I have lots and lots of time to kill. read more

Server was awful. Didn't get all of our food at once. Have to fight flies. Very very busy. Floors where filthy.

OMG!! The pancakes were superb!!! I left there fat and happy. It was the best cheat day by far!!

Definately off the list. Was asked how I wanted my burger, asked for medium but got one cooked a heartbeat shy of burnt. The macaroni salad lacked all taste just slightly oily. Avoid at all cost. read more

Excellent service!! My husband had the strawberry pancakes - light and fluffy; I had eggs Benedict-very good! They also had oatmeal with toppings- a great option for vegans!! read more

Good value for the $$. Typical diner menu. We eat here often when passing through Fallon. Food has always been good. Best place to get breakfast before 6am If you need an early start. Best to get there before the typical " rush" hours as service tends to be a little slow when the place is full. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I came into town from Reno to have a birthday lunch with my mother and a few family members. We arrived at 1125am we were seated by 1130am we order food at 12pm food came out but no one was able to eat together because the food came out every 20 mins or longer and they did have fries ran out of hamburger buns. Everything was gross but the soda. Service was horrible. Never will do it again read more

Was recommended this restaurant by a friend, and it really has a local feel. The staff was friendly and the restaurant felt homey. We had a shake which was great and the sampler platter which was alright. I really wanted the country fried steak but it was on the dinner menu. All and all it was a good experience. read more

Awesome, breakfast and lunch. Really nice and friendly staff. I had the New Mexico burger with a side of salsa, which I had a 2nd helping of Salsa it was hot! My husband had eggs, bacon and hash browns and the pancakes were the best.! The OJ was watered down. Otherwise everything was great! read more

Chicken Fried Steak My husband and I spend time in Fallon each year before Burning Man. We like Jerry's for the food and the casual 24 hr diner that's not part of a casino. It's also right next to the hardware store we can't stay out of. The waitresses are hit and miss. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they leave a lot to be desired. They all drop off the check right after the food and that annoys me some. The food though. Mmmmm. Everything we've had has been pretty good. We mostly have eaten breakfast or dinners here. The chicken fried steak is a really good one. To start, the meat itself is not stringy or gristly or hard to chew. It's good meat. Second, the breading, which is quite tasty, actually sticks to the steak and doesn't separate from it (pet peeve). The steaks are pan fried and the cream gravy is real gravy, with chunks of meat in it. They are heavy on the salt, when I wish they had used a bit more pepper and less salt, but it's still good. The sides for the dish are nothing to brag about, but the star of this plate is that lovely gravy-smothered breaded tender steak that you just don't want to stop eating. This is just about the only thing my husband eats here, breakfast, lunch or dinner. When I order something else, I always have to have a bite of his just because it's so yummy. We always look forward to coming back each year, just for the CFS. read more

Went on a cold Wednesday night and was greeted by warm service and warm food. Ordered the honey fried chicken which was an enormous heap of crispy, fried chicken, though no honey flavor was truly present. The cornbread was disappointing but the quality of the chicken made up for it. Our waitress was fantastic and made excellent recommendations. The decor gives a clean, modern look while preserving its heritage as an old school diner. My friends all had breakfast meals and their plates were licked clean and two of them even ordered pie a la mode, again licked clean. Will be coming back to Jerry's the next time I'm in Fallon. read more

Just moved here a couple months ago and decided to give this local diner a try. We got seated quickly but were put on hold to get our order taken. When our drinks finally arrived there was something in my glass, in addition to flys flying around the table. Not a great first impression. The food was sub par, maybe because I was already weary from finding something in my drink. Even though we notified them didn't even get my drink comped. I don't think i will be returning anytime soon. read more

As I sit here patiently waiting for my food, I think to myself.... It's been an hour since I ordered, is that my food that has been sitting up at the window for the last 20 minutes? I would ask my waitress, but she has been MIA for about 40 minutes now. I sit staring at my empty glass and then back to the food, that I am positive now is mine and wonder, should I walk out? Another waitress then comes over with French toast and says sorry about the wait.... I didn't order French toast, but I am hungry... should I except? I politely say, sorry but I ordered a burger. Are you sure she says? Pretty sure, I reply. Oh.... Ok. I said, I think that order in the window is mine? She doesn't acknowledge me and walks off. Oh well... I guess I'll hit the drive thru at Mc gurgles. I left..... read more

Ordered to go. No syrup for my pancakes (fortunately we had a little bit left at the RV) and they forget 1/3 items of my platter, bacon. Overall, pretty good food though. Don't expect the best service or to get all your food the first time. read more

Decent place. The atmosphere was pretty cool, with all the stuff on the walls. We were tired and hungry. The place was clean and the wait staff was quite attentive. I'm not sure we would have chosen it, had it not been open late, but I'm glad we did. It's your typical diner and the food is about the same as your typical diner. We would definitely go back if we were ever in town again. read more

Old restaurant in a little town. The plates don't look really appetizing, but it's a small town diner and looks can be deceiving. I had a bacon cheeseburger. I eat a lot of burgers. From low to high end. I have to admit, while it looked just OK, the beef was REALLY good. I didn't need any condiments, just the bacon, mushrooms and cheese. It was delicious. They were skimpy on the fries, but I didn't really need any more, which is a good thing. My dad had the chicken fried steak and that was pure comfort food. I had a few bites and loved it. I'm craving another burger. Definitely be back for another. read more

Waited forever to be waited on. Horrible meal!!! Nothing we ordered was correct... forgot part of it.... never did bring it... bacon was asked to be crisp , came limp. Baked potato was cold, meat was overdone!!!! Will not return! read more

Love Jerry's! Go there almost once a week and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend- breakfast foods are awesome.

Great food, nice staff but terrible service. Waitress was clearly overwhelmed to due being understaffed. We never even received our drinks. Got our food, it was great. Reminded her of the drinks and still never got them. Place is good but clearly understaffed read more

We've been staying in Fallon for a few weeks now and eat breakfast at Jerry's everyday. The food is just like home cooking, the waitresses are fantastic, and they make you feel like regulars. Which, by this point, we really are. I anticipate many, many more delightful visits to Jerry's. Passing through Fallon? Stop here. It's a great 50's diner. read more

The food was a little bit more than what I would've liked for diner food, but it was good. There was a good amount of grease with my omelette, but they do give you a lot of food. They also give a 10% military discount. read more

This is a 50's diner type place, but light on the 50's. We got asked our drink orders before we even made it to the table. The coffee was getting refilled so fast I had to move it away from the edge of the table! I debated on what to order but went with an omelet. I think it was called the "sink" or something like that since it had a bunch of different things in it. It was good but the peppers could have been cooked a bit longer for my liking. The hash browns were perfect. When I was looking up somewhere to eat on Yelp people were saying that the hash browns weren't cooked enough. Maybe the cooks read the reviews because these were great! I'm not sure what was going on at the check out area but I went to the bathroom and came back and my mom was still standing in line. I think maybe it was a bit of local chatting going on :) read more

Been to Jerry's a few times since moving to Fallon a few months ago. No 5 star restaurant, but all in all it is pretty good. Everytime we have been there they were short handed. There is a fairly tall young woman (sorry don't remember her name) who has been there running her butt off every time were have been there. She always has a smile & friendly greeting when we go in. She has never complained about be short handed or makes excuses when it takes long to get our food. She apologies for the wait and continues to smile. The price is right and the portions and quality keeps us going back. read more

We really enjoyed coming to Jerry's upon being stationed at Fallon but our enjoyment ended quickly. After having some long (45 minute) ticket times for simple breakfast meals on several occasions, we were also given some less than stellar service. It seems there's no consistency or organization with staff and management. On our last and final visit, I was able to take a peak into the kitchen and noticed the floor covered in food and garbage; we considered calling Nevada Board of Health, haven't been back since. read more

Slow customer service . Two weeks in a row I had a terrible experience . First I came in and was served coffee right away and waited 45 mins and never got a menu or help. Following week they didn't even have shredded cheese so they put slices of cheese on my omelet and whole tomatoes in also instead of fixing them. Only reason I go there is for the coffee and Lisa is the best waitress there. They also seem understaffed and overwhelmed . read more

Stopped in here for breakfast with my pilot car driver. Had to wait due to this plandemic! Lol got seated drinks and orders were fast! Ordered the meat lovers omelet with halenday sauce and it was probably the best omelet ever, at least 4 eggs and loaded will meat too the gill. Customer service was great, had some homeless come in which I don't mine, they sat at the counter but one of them started to yell and throwing a fit, they asked him to leave, he left but with out throwing fit, Fallon police showed up and dealt with it. Just remember we all have life problems so I understand and feel sorry for them! But the place is the bomb and I want to go back and try lunch! read more

Man listen, Jerry's is the 4th quarter clutch late night 24hr diner. Honestly the only people who should be reading this review are military because the 240 people who actually live in fallon already know about this place. Besides that the food is solid and I'd recommend it to ya read more

This place was very busy and surprisingly packed because it said they were only doing half capacity seating due to COVID. Our experience was very messed up but the new server and another waitress were very kind in resolving the issues. The manager however was very rude , surprisingly in a rush despite not actually helping. Threw my receipt at me, left food that we didn't order at our table and walked away. Plus she ignored us when we entered and greeted everyone else. She had a black coat vest on. read more

Awesome little Diner! Totally at home feel:) We decided to give it a try driving on our way home after spending the weekend at Sand Mountian. Walking in, we were greeted right away. Super friendly waiter, she brought everything out pretty quick as well. I ordered the chicken fried streak (my personal favorite), and OH MY, it was literally the size of the plate!!
