Here on a Saturday morning and it is packed, took a few minutes to get a table. Drinks were brought to the table quick, and order was taken promptly. Then we waited almost felt like it took to long but when the food arrived we were not disappointed! Portion sizes were well beyond what was expected and the food was fantastic. I planned on leaving 4 stars because my eggs were undercooked, but the delicious chicken fried steak more than made up for the eggs, plus they were slammed so I will give them a pass. read more

Called in a takeout order at 9:19 in the morning for two waffles and was told that it would take 20 minutes for it to be ready. Got there in about 15 of the 19 minutes to claim my order and sat there for nearly 40 minutes before my presence was even acknowledged. By the time I was noticed I was then told that the two waffles were not ready and that they had to be reheated or something of that nature. At this this point I refused the waffles and walked out. I don't want to say that I was overlooked because I was black but the customer service can be much better than what I noticed. Due to this I will not be a customer of this establishment for the rest of my time in Fallon. read more

The service was horrible. There were three waitresses and they spent more time gossiping than helping customers. We were given two forks, one spoon and one knife for both of us! The food was okay but we had to battle the flies just to eat it. My hashbrowns were barely warm! I would not eat here again, especially if you like you coffee cup refilled! The first couple times we went here the food was good as was the service. Eventually you get tired of fighting nasty flies off your food. I give them 4 stars only because they probably should have more people helping during their busy times. We come here for breakfast at least 1x a month and the price and quality of the food can be comparable to Dennys. I've had the waffles before and totally recommend it. Poor service! They can't seem to figure out how to get people in, serve drinks and take orders in a timely manner. We've been in twice in the last 2 weeks and same thing both times 15 minute wait after seating before any acknowledgement by the staff, with other tables receiving service. If you have to eat here go ahead expect to wait 30 minutes for a table, 30 minutes to take your order and enjoy it all with a empty glass because you'll be waiting the whole time for a refill. Our trip to Jerry's was an unpleasant one. When we walked in the hostess says "just go sit over there". She just pointed in the diner, we sat down and she took our order. I had their version of corn beef and hash with hash browns and two eggs. My girlfriend had bacon and eggs with pancakes. Corn beef was cold in the middle, both egg York were broke.( I like my yokes). For the bacon and eggs, the eggs were a little over cooked and the bacon could of been cooked more. The waitress forgot to bring us a drink, never checked on us once we got our meal so we didn't even get to remind her about it. I think she was too busy chatting with the locals. The rest of the staff were not too customer friendly, but this could be due to the high school girls working. If you want a nice and relaxing breakfast, there are better places to go in town. read more

This used to be my favorite place to come and eat when I came to Fallon until I woke up at 4 am craving a meal from here. I arrived and sat down patently waiting to be served. I figured the two waiters saw me enter and mind you only two other people were eating here. I waited....and waited, seeing the waiter serve the other patroons. She looked at me several times and never made it to my table, as I stood up she looked at me and just said sorry as I walked out the door. Wow I am impressed. Started a new job and went in to this country diner. The lighting outside not the best but that was the only complaint. Dang they make some spectacular food. Came back and ate here again tonight and got the chicken fried steak. The country gravy was the best I have ever had. The bacon was crispy and the atmosphere was perfect. It was really clean and the staff especially the waitresses were awesome and all were so happy and bubvly. If you get time to stop and have dinner in the little town of fallon nevada. Have been to Jerry's on several occasions and most of the time we get a decent meal, but two weeks ago we stopped for a late lunch and after being seated, and asked what we would like to drink, we waited 20 minutes to get our order in. There was only one waitress and she was so busy trying to take care of people the best she could but was way too busy for one waitress. We ordered burgers and fries when she did get back to our table. We noticed when we first arrived, there were quite a few flies in the room, even more so by the windows where customers were seated. I put a napkin over my coke as they were buzzing us too. My husband asked if I wanted to leave, but felt bad that the waitress would be in trouble. When our burgers arrived, my burger didn't have cheese on it like I requested at the time of ordering. The flies I mean fries were greasy. More flies started arriving so I ate my burger as quick as I could, left the fries and made sure I didn't get charged for the cheese I didn't get. Seemed clean and friendly and had quick service, but the food was below average. Don't think I've ever had more tasteless cornbread. We come here every year on our annual Burning Man trek and we always have great meals here. Everything we have tried has been good! Meat loaf, chicken fried steak, fish and chips, tortilla soup, liver and onions, burgers, and let's not forget the best breakfast at anytime! I am sure this place is good for breakfast, but we went for dinner. My fried chicken was overcooked and dry. The mashed potatoes were smothered in cold gravy. The veggies were either a frozen mix or from a can. Either way, they were overcooked. They were out of cornbread, so they gave me Texas Toast, the only edible part of the meal. My husband's fries were undercooked. He said his burger was okay but the cheese wasn't fully melted. It seems everything was undercooked or overcooked in this meal. read more

This is a terrible place to eat. I served there for nearly 2 years. One aspect that I did not appreciate, is the cook that constantly dripped sweat from his head, forehead, and chin directly into the food. The dishwasher would scrub through his beard with no gloves on, and then put the dishes away. The dark haired graveyard server usually had a habit of letting out her flatulence as she quickly flew by customer tables. Just disgusting place that employs people with no morals or manners. At any rate, the tips were great for me but be careful what your'e actually tipping for. It is a gratuity, not a right. Came for breakfast with my family. It was my wife's first time and it was a horrible first impression. Our server was Michelle and after getting seated, she barely waited for our drink order before she walked off without us completing the order. After the drinks arrived she left and never returned. Luckily the Manager showed up and everything was great after that. Started horrible and ended up really good. Food was excellent as always. read more
