Always friendly helpful and honest. I bring all my watches here for repair or in store quick service for new batteries.

Thank you, Tim Morales at Benjamin & Sons for selling me a Grandfather clock that keeps good time,…read morechimes very pleasantly, and looks very good. First, I contacted Tim about a new Howard Miller mantle clock that was having issues. He did the warranty work on it. But, Howard Miller is going out of business, and the quality of their clocks seems not to be what they used to produce. Second, he worked on a 1920 Herschede mantle clock I bought on eBay. With me standing there, he pulled out the mechanism and it was clear that a part was broken. Plus, it did not look at all like the photo posted by the clocksmith on eBay who sold it to me. Tim did what he could. The reason I bought those clocks is that I want a mechanical clock that keeps good time, and neither of them do. But many Grandfather Clocks do keep good time, and I knew that Tim has some. So, after a conversation with him, I bought a 1988 Ridgeway Grandfather Clock from him. Tim and his son delivered the clock, set it up, and Tim gave me a brief overview. He also had the manual and original paperwork for me. It's beautiful, and after a few adjustments it is accurate to within a few seconds. It does play three different chimes, but I love the Winchester chimes, and this clock sounds wonderful. I expect to have it for the rest of my life. Note: Yelp says I'm in California. No, I'm in Olympia, WA.

Came in repaired my clocks. I have still two more that need to be done, but it is quick efficient…read moreand very reasonably priced would highly recommend him again. He arrived on time and was efficient and pleasant.

Staff was nice and patient with us, which I appreciated. However, we ultimately were not…read morecomfortable purchasing here due to a very limited & Boeing selection and extreme lack of detailed diamond knowledge. The store primarily carries lab-grown diamonds, mostly in the VS2 clarity range, typically 1-3 carat solitaire styles. We were told VS2 is considered "very high quality," but there were no diamonds available above VS1 clarity (lab or natural). The natural diamond selection was especially minimal. When we asked more in-depth questions about cut quality, fluorescence, and depth ratio, all factors that impact how a diamond presents and sparkles, the responses were vague and at times inaccurate. We were told that cut quality and fluorescence don't really affect how a diamond sparkles in the sun, which is not correct. When I mentioned depth, the associate quickly changed the subject & seamed to have no knowledge of this or its importance. I also asked to compare diamonds with and without fluorescence to see if I could personally notice a difference, since fluorescence can affect pricing. The associate said the information should be in the paperwork but never pulled documentation for the diamond we were considering. That lack of voluntary transparency raised concerns for us. It felt as though either the staff was not trained in deeper grading details or the information simply wasn't being shared. Either way, when you're making a significant purchase, full grading transparency matters. I'm interested in an emerald cut tri-stone ring with a natural center diamond. I wasn't expecting them to have any emerald tri-stone inventory, but there was only one tri-stone option in the store, and the three stones were nearly the same size, which didn't give the tri-stone look you normally see. Most inventory leaned heavily toward trendy, mainstream lab-grown solitaire styles. To their credit, they did have a good range of carat sizes available in lab-grown solitaires, which allowed me to compare proportions easily on my finger. They also had emerald cuts in different sizes, which was helpful for visualization. The lab-grown diamonds we viewed (around 1-2ish carats, E-H color, VS2 clarity) were priced around $3-$4k give or take, which seemed generally aligned with market pricing based on what info they were willing to disclose. The associate then showed us a .6 natural solitaire that was around H/I in color & SI2/3 clarity and said this was still a high quality diamond! Inclusions were clearly visible w/out microscope & it was clearly cloudy/milky, and then she said you couldn't see any inclusions..it felt very gas-lighty. I would strongly encourage buyers to carefully review grading paperwork for cut metrics, depth %, fluorescence, & overall proportions before committing, & if you don't know what these are, EDUCATE yourself so you're not tricked! We understand that what I want will likely need to be custom ordered, and my BF is prepared to work with a jeweler to source stones and design a ring. However, we're looking for someone who can confidently explain how clarity, color, cut, depth, and fluorescence impact both appearance and price. Overall, this may be a suitable option if you're looking for a mid-to-low-range lab-grown solitaire and aren't concerned with deeper grading metrics. For us, it served as a somewhat helpful try-on experience but not the right fit for a higher-end or custom diamond purchase. Because the staff was polite and gave us their time, I am giving 2 stars, but we will be purchasing elsewhere and will not work with them in the future.

All the employees are very kind, acknowledge and helpful. The selection of jewelry they have is…read moreamazing.
