Every parent wants their child to be safe and protected! Not here. Grabbing my child earlier then…read morenormal one day I walked in to her being tied down to a chair with a scarf!!! All because she wanted to get down and play but they wanted to mop. Ya, they can mop after the daycare is closed! The worst part is that in conversation with the daycare the admitted they had used this on other children and thought it wasn't a big deal! ! ! And p.s. Moms when I asked if they told the other parents that they've done this they said NO. Do not take your child here. https://apps.del.wa.gov/check/LicenseView.aspx?id=3417 Please look at the link. It speaks for it's self! My claim number was 952775. Just email them to request a copy!

I enrolled my child over winter break. They charged the state a whole months worth of child for 3…read moredays of service. They also charged me a whole months worth of copay for the three days. They were closed over the holiday and with no bill thought it would be acceptable to charge me a late fee because I did not pay when they were closed. the manager walks around with her boobs out in inappropriate clothes and thinks it is okay to yell at parents who take their child to daycare after 9am. I can not help but think that is because they send their workers home if not needed. The place seems real shady and I believe they take advantage of the government by charging for the whole month and not prorating services. I am going to take my son out of daycare here but of course they make sure they receive their notice so they can keep getting the states money.

The worst place I could've sent my child. You could tell that the teachers would get overstimulated…read moreand frustrated with the chaos that can be toddlers and their energy. Some teachers would yell, and some were noticeably annoyed and short when my child would be picked up, or the teachers were just plain rude. I think the staff need more training opportunities to learn how to work with children of all ages, backgrounds, capabilities, and strengths. Not everyone with "experience with children" should be hired. Towards the end of my child's care with them, they stopped communicating completely. I am that annoying parent that will question everything. I mean, when your child gets hurt, and there's a visible mark for days and no report made, or even reported home, you will question EVERYTHING. They also charge for EVERYTHING. All the surrounding daycares cost less and won't charge you if your child has to borrow a coat for one day. This daycare will charge you. Even though they donate a lost and found bin with coats... make it make sense. This place sucks and I hope they get it together, instead of just trying to enroll a high number to meet a dollar amount. My gut told me to get my child out asap. Luckily, I switched my child to a facility with less children, more resources, and the teachers are actively being sent to trainings. It is also significantly cheaper, for the same number of days of care. I could go on. Maybe the next family will have a better experience, but did I mention this place sucks. -10/10 recommend.

I attended lcas from 3rd to 8th grade and the experience I had here was horrible and detrimental…read more Mrs. Davis (3rd through 5th grade teacher) was incredibly rude and disrespectful, often mistreating students. Lunches were restricted unless you were done with your work, and then you'd miss recess because you had to eat. I often overheard her badmouthing fellow classmates, with the teachers aid, about them being incapable of learning their timetables, when they just needed a little more support. This teacher had a handful of mental breakdowns in the middle of class, one during our greek and latin lessons when the class laughed over the word sex (six in latin). She went on to give our class a lecture about how sex is a beautiful thing and so is having children etc. etc. The 6th to 8th teacher is only better by a little bit. Mrs. Cook, was nice from an outer perspective, but in reality she had horrible problem solving skills. At one point, my friend was being bullied because of her race and called the N word. Mrs. Cook decided to talk to the student who was bullying my friend right in front of her, making it even harder for my friend to be attending the school, especially since she was the only black person there at the time. Mrs. Cook would also often use students personal lives as examples for class, mine beinf brought up on multiple occasions. Of course, being an awkward and self-conscious teen, I had no choice but to go along with it. On top of the teachers being bad, the sex education we received was even worse. The boys, according to one of my friends, talked about porn and masturbation (real things all awkward tween and teenagers experience) and received candy. The girls, on the other hand, had a very long conversation about periods and embarrassing first period stories, we each received a china tea cup and had to go around in a circle saying our name and that we are to be treated like a tea cup, fragile and easily broken. This school is a terrible environment for young women of any race. The years I spent here will never leave me. I was the most depressed and unmotivated I had ever been while attending lcas. When I first arrived at lcas, I would wear my family members thumb print pendant every day, as the loss was extremely hard for me. The principal at the time, told me if she saw me wearing it again it would be taken since it violated the dress code policies. She told me it could be made into a laminated pin I could wear on my clothes instead, as if it was meaningless. I was in 3rd grade when that incident happened and had just lost my family member. This school is no place for a child who you want to flourish and live happily in life. This school tore apart my creativity, my hope, and my faith in the world and religion.
