I personally really like the snowflake and kalbi mandu and I am surprised how good and refreshing the dumpling soup is. The owner was super nice too! Now this ain't no fancy spot and the menu isn't extensive. It's simple, but sometimes simple is best and this is one of those times. I was greeted when I walked in, I didn't feel pressured while trying to decide what I wanted to order, suggestions were made, I had questions and answers were given. I decided on the traditional mandu (fried) and the kalbi (which he recommended steamed since I was already getting something fried). I took a seat and shortly he came rolling my food over to my table. I've been eating mandu for YEARS and these were some of the best! These dumplings are stuffed and packed with flavor. I was surprised to see the jopcahe in the kalbi dumpling as I love it, it came with a dish of soy sauce to dip (I wanted to ask for some goguchang for some heat but decided I would add it when I got home as there was no way I was eating all of them). I can tell you that the food was fresh (I watched the man making my dumplings), the customer service was great, and the food was delicious! And the people walking in after me, all kept mentioning that they too were there after seeing a reel. So do yourself a favor and go try this man's mandu!

I do think prices were slightly on the higher end and service was a little slow, but again, given the circumstances, I personally did not mind. There is an impressive selection of banchan that could almost be a full meal in itself. They were all very fresh and high quality. I ordered the galbi and spicy cold noodles. The galbi came on a sizzling plate. It was tender and flavorful. However, it was expensive, at almost the same price of dinner AYCE KBBQ. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the spicy cold noodles, not because it was bad, but more so due to personal preference. The portion size was very generous though. My family ordered the shrimp fried rice and bulgogi quesadilla. The fried rice was very solid; it had good flavor, texture, and they nailed the portion of vegetables, protein, and rice. The bulgogi quesadilla was also delicious and I appreciate the creativity. The combination of bulgogi, japchae, and cheese might sound sacrilegious to some, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I ordered chicken Katsu curry stuffed with mozzarella cheese and shrimp tempura and they were the crunchiest and freshest food I've ever tasted. My food also came very fast and the server already prepared to go boxes without me even asking, which was very very sweet of her.

They use real crab, and the crunch combined with the spicy mayo, jalapeños, and green onions is elite. * Chicken Wings: Another must-try appetizer! They are crisp, golden wings, marinated in garlic and ginger, then fried to tender perfection... it was so good! * Basil Fried Rice: Packed with fresh herbs, perfectly seasoned, and has the best texture. * Drunken Noodles: This is a total standout. Ordered - Combo D2 - Meats: Marinated Short Ribs, Prime Rib Finger Meat, NY Strip, Ribeye - We did the option where we had them cook the meat for us. I felt like our waiter overcooked it. Sad because usually I feel like when the waiter cook it, it's better. - Steamed Egg - It was not fluffy and it was watery? - Cheese Corn - Very thin cheese corn. It felt like it was one corn in depth. Sucks a little because if you don't eat it right away the cheese just harden very fast. - Spicy Soft Tofu Soup (Seafood) - very small shrimp and mini octopus. Didn't have any clams sadly. I also felt like it didn't have enough liquid.

Each soup came with a bowl of fresh white rice and a dipping sauce for the meat. The soup bowl looked a bit small at first but I was comfortably full by the end of the meal. Just a heads up that the soups come unseasoned so there's salt on the table for you to season to your liking. #3 Seok Uh Sulung Tang ($17.99): Ox bone soup with mixed meat and thin white noodles. I loved the variety so this was perfect for me. The soup tasted a lot better with 2 spoons of salt. I also added some black pepper and green onions to round it out even more. #9 Won Gi Tang ($23.99): Came with beef baby back rib, ox knee, beef brisket, and green onions. The broth had a slight green onion flavor but was otherwise similar to the other soup. My only gripe was that the rib meat wasn't very tender so it was hard to eat off the bone. Solid spot and a great choice for a recovery meal.
