I love Jenny! She runs that shop to a T. I've been going there since my son was 1 and he's now 16. She's very personable and remembers everything, lol. She'll ask about my family even if I haven't seen her in months. Seems to be a one woman shop and holds it down. I've had my nails done there but I mainly go for eyebrow and lip waxing. I love going to Jenny's Nails! Up until this year, I was never really into manicures or pedicures, but I was hooked as soon as I started coming here. Jenny's Nails is located right next to Avalanche, which is awesome because you can get frozen yogurt and eat it while getting your pedicure. The seats inside are amazing!! They massage you while your feet are soaking & stuff. Seems like they stay on for a good half hour or so. Very relaxing! Usually my nails are done by Tina or Jenny. Both do a great job! And they also know how to interact with their customers well. Lots of fun conversations go on here. Tina and Jenny are also very flexible with appointment times and stay open late, for those of you who don't get off work until after 5:00pm. I plan on going back in a month for my next pedi. If you don't already have a nail shop of choice, try this one out. You won't be disappointed. read more

I thought my Gel Nail polish charge was expensive for a mediocre job. It got really busy whilst I was there and I think the manicurist wanted to finish doing my nails as soon as possible. They didn't let the gel dry between coats and it started peeling within few days. 2 stars because they were friendly and place was clean. I would not be going back.. read more

Jenny owns the nail salon with her husband. Jenny and Tina run the salon. Both Jenny and Tina are wonderful women with great stories. I've had the pleasure of getting to know both of them and they've done my nails for years I prefer Tina and I know her best so I will give a more specific review of her. Tina is a family friend's daughter and is by far the best manicurist that I've ever met. She gives great attention to detail. Because she is so thorough, the nail color always last longer with her than any other salon. My nails are also healthier when I consistently have a manicure from her. She is interested in every client's life and makes each person feel special by remembering their nail color, preferences and life stories. It is always a pleasure to visit Tina. I stopped here by chance and had a pleasant time making small talk with the owner and my nails turned out beautiful. Personality goes a long way! Update: Awesome and sweet owner. Nails were decent and Jenny accommodated me on a walk in. Reasonable pricing. But since then I haven't been able to schedule an appointment every time I called. So I will probably go elsewhere. But worth a quick visit if you're by the salon if they have an opening......after two calls and no openings I've gone elsewhere. Meabwhile tge location is next to the local Thai marker I frequent and right off of downtown, so easily assessible as well as a private parking lot. Jenny does an excellent job. My fingernails are strong and don't break. She can trim my ingrown toenails. I call her my foot doctor. First time here for a pedicure. The salon was clean and Jenny was very respectful of my very ticklish feet. Nothing was uncomfortable. And she was really helpful putting on my compression hose. Jenny carried on a good conversation which is why I'm giving it 2 stars, asides from that my pedicure was not up to my standards. She left nail polish outside the nails on many of my toes. When leaving, I asked her if my pedicure would survive my slip on sandals (typically at other nail salons they offer the disposable sandals) she said yes... my pedicure got messed up by the time I got home! read more

I've been coming to see Jenny for 10+ years and every time I try another place, I am disappointed. Call to make appointment for best results. Pedicure seat has massage chairs. I was referred to this salon by a friend. The yelp reviews also help me to decide to check Jenny out. Well when I went in she asked "How can I help you?" and when I told her I was interested in getting a gel mani/pedi. She said " I don't have time" without even looking up. I told her ok I was referred by a friend who told me you took walk-ins as well as your windows say walk-ins accepted. At least she could have tried to reschedule me for when she had time. Today was my first time at Jenny's, I'm going on vacation & decided to take a chance & try a local salon - usually do my own pedis as I've had horrible experiences in the past. I'm so glad I did! my experience at Jennie was ok until a few days later when I noticed a painful, red, bump by my cuticle. The doctor said my finger was infected probably to unsanitary tools or workspace. I returned to the salon to politely inform them of what happened and asked kindly if I could get a refund as I'm a college student and struggle financially. I had to pay for the doctors appointment as well as the antibiotic ointment. The workers at the salon denied any possibility that it could be from them, told me it's probably from my lack of hygiene and offered no compensation. I was going to give them a second try but after this, I am very offended and disappointed and I definitely will not be returning. read more
