I had my first haircut somewhere else and unfortunately it didn't turn out right. When Jessica looked at my hair, she noticed a lot of random short layers throughout that didn't really make sense (which I didn't even realize at first because it wasn't super obvious). She took the time to fix my side bangs and blend everything properly, and my hair looks so much better now. She also did my partner's hair and really listened to the inspiration we showed her. Jessica doesn't rush her work at all she takes her time and really polishes everything toward the end so it looks just right. The lounge itself is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming vibe. We were lucky to get an early appointment, but I can see why she gets booked quickly, so I definitely recommend scheduling ahead. Highly recommend Jessica. I finally feel comfortable trusting someone with my hair here in Fairfield!

I reached out to Jessica via text and she responded the next day, she asked what I was thinking of doing, asked for pictures of what my hair currently looked like, etc. I was able to send her pictures of what I wanted, she was able to give me an estimate of how much the service would be and was able to get me booked the same week. The salon was easy to find, parking was fairly easy, my appointment was on a Monday morning at 9. I thought it was going to be there for the majority of the day but to my surprise, everything was finished by 12pm. Jessica was super sweet, make sure I was comfortable, listened to what I wanted and executed exactly what I was wanting. Thanks Jessica!

Meli made sure to explain everything she was doing to make me feel more comfortable before cutting my hair. She was very empathetic and caring about my bad haircut and triple-checked multiple times to make sure everything was evened out when she finished. I came in thinking that my hair was too far gone to be saved but she was able to make it feel like a brand new haircut without cutting more of the length off. I left feeling so much better about my hair. I love how they handled the situation and 10/10 I would definitely come back just to see Meli again. Make sure to do research on your stylists!

I'd been before and have extremely curly hair, I booked an appointment with Jordan and she cut it in a way I'd only dreamed of having it cut. However, when I went back for the second time, it was the worst customer service I've ever received anywhere. I booked the service online (haircut only) and came all the way from Sacramento. I arrived on time and Jordan was finishing up with a client. She never greeting or acknowledged me (which I thought was weird), but w/e. Then the last client was taking 15 minutes over, and never once did Jordan make a remark acknowledging it, apologizing or still greeting me. The only reason I knew she even knew for sure I was her client was because I was sitting at a waiting bench directly near her section, and she clearly called on me next after finally finishing the first girl. I finally get in the chair and think it's weird, but again, I loved the cut the first time and was excited. We move on. The entire time Jordan had the most negative energy I've ever experienced with anyone. She was in a bad mood. Apparently there had been an outage on the entire block that had the power go out the week before or something? And all she did was complain about the cost of everything it was going to take to repair and replace her washer and dryers for the studio. Yes, it's a super unfortunate circumstance, but when I tell you none of this was a business-level appropriate complaint about a bad time kinda thing, trust me. I mean it was a "if this is my problem, it's now EVERYONE's problem" kinda energy. Like, girl what? lol She just kept going off... everything was everyone else's fault about this. Tbh- I'm not much of a talker at appointments, so I get hair stylists needing to chat with the room about things, but this energy was diff. Long story short, the appointment I booked was at a rate that was set very clearly online. When we finished, she charged me $50 more than the pricing online. My hair is not extra long, its curly but not matted, not difficult, none of that. Nor was there any explanation given to her from the jump in price. Tbh- I paid it. I knew I was never coming back after that. The entire time she complained about how much everything was costing her and I knew in my gut she was taking it out on clients to pay for it extra even though the agreement online was completely different. On top of her being late and not greeting me, I knew this was something I'd want to tell others about. ---- Main Point, TDLR: The reason I gave it was a 2-star is only because the haircut was good. If you want a good haircut, sure, maybe. But if you want to support good people in your community. Don't go here. There's too many other talented stylists out there to support economically. And if you do.... make sure you are 100% clear up front with Jordan about how much you'll be paying beforehand. Best of luck.

Moved here (Fairfield) in October last year from Daly City and by chance found Relax Spa for hair and mani/pedi services. So happy!! I've been going to Hannah. She knows hair and colors and cuts my hair better than I've had someone do in quite a while (little did I know!) and also does a great job with my mani/pedi. I told her that I was thinking 10 am, but if she could get the two of us in at the same time then 1030 would work. I then asked their pricing. She said $30 regular pedicure, $40 gel pedicure. This was a better price than I had been quoted at other salons, so I confirmed the 1030 slot and off we went. The shop is located in a massive former salon right next to AutoZone. When we arrived, there were signs on the door that stated that masks were required to enter. This was fine by me except for the fact that I only had my kids masks in the car . Luckily, I have a small face and made it work. When we went to enter the establishment, the door was locked, but a lady, who I later found out was Loan, quickly shuffled over and welcomed us in. She asked us to be seated while she finished with a client and I browsed through the standard gel polish offerings. We were then seated at the massage chairs and asked to place our feet in the basins while the water warmed up. Mary assisted my guest with their pedicure while Loan worked on my feet. Loan selected massage setting for us both as the remotes were locked in behind the chairs. This was something I hadn't seen before but if you are someone who likes to choose their own settings, it is something to keep in mind. The pedicure session was great. I am super ticklish and she made sure to not be too rough with my feet. The Cherry Berry color looked exactly how I wanted, so I asked for a gel manicure as well since it was $25. This is where things were not so good. My left hand came out perfectly. I chose Autumn Leaves and Champagne Gold, both with glittery sparkles. My right hand left more to be desired. It is now just over 8 days since my visit and the edges around my cuticles have already lifted and chipped off. The gel color doesn't go all the way to the side edges of my nail and it very easy to see the areas where the polish distribution wasn't even. Overall, I would return. The ladies are very sweet and welcoming. I would recommend Loan for pedicures and Mary for manicures.

As I'm sitting with my feet in lukewarm water the person comes over yanks both my feet out of the water and starts filing my gel polish off with a manual nail file. Most places work on one foot at a time while your other foot soaks. Every other salon either uses the electric nail tool or polish remover and foil. At this point I hadn't even seen a menu. I asked for one and was brought one. She then begins filing again and scrapes my toe skin enough that I yelled out. At that point I said I'm leaving asked for a towel put my feet and put my shoes back on and walked out. Definitely don't recommend this nail salon.
