I called the day before of my appointment to get my nails done. I didn't feel like driving too far to my usual lady so I opted for trying something new. It was easy to make an appointment, I wanted 9 am in the morning and a mani pedi. The following day I chose the lower end of the spa pedi where I had a lavender scrub with slices of orange that had my leg looking like it was part of a charcuterie board. I got some callous softener, parafen wax, hand massage, stone massage, hot towel and gel pedi :) Afterwards I got ombré nails and was super happy with how everything turned out. Walk Ins not so welcome. They definitely should consider removing the sign off of the window. I walked in smiling and speaking to the technicians up front. Nobody responded nor asked how they could help. I said "Hello, do you happen to be available for a pedicure, they looked at me, looked at each other and never responded. After about 20-25 seconds of no response, I said "that's okay, don't worry about it." I'll never return. Hopefully me leaving my honest remove will allow them to learn from my experience. Perhaps they can fill the empty seats in the future. Customer Service is everything. read more

This was the best nail experience I've had in a while. I got the Natural Spa $55 pedicure package it included: scrub, mask, massage, hot stones, wax and hot towel. The worker really took her time with the massage I was sitting for the estimated time about 45 minutes probably a little longer. They give you complimentary drinks as well while you're getting your pedicure/nails done. You can choose water, apple juice, orange juice, or even a mimosa! While getting my full set, the worker seemed to really know what she was doing. She filed my nails so perfectly they weren't bulky, and they looked like press ons at the end! One upside as well is I didn't get cut at all which tends to happen when I go to these nail salons. It's no wonder this place has 5 stars! They truly do an excellent job! read more

I wanted to love this salon so bad. The reviews were mostly great and I was even recommended by people in my Facebook community pages. My experience started off great. I was able to get an appointment quickly for a pedicure and dip manicure. Helen started with my pedicure and it was fantastic. Throughout the pedicure I was thinking about how I definitely want to keep getting my pedicures here because it was so good. The pedicure was honestly the best I've ever had. But with what was coming next unfortunately put me off this salon completely. Helen started my dip manicure. My nails were on the shorter side but I mentioned to her that I wanted to eventually grow them out into an almond shape so to file them however will give me a good start towards that. She started filing and just didn't stop. It was hurting and I jumped a few times and she noticed and apologized. She also cut 4 of my cuticles causing them to bleed quite a bit. She continued to apologize so I was giving her grace. She continued on and did 4 or 5 layers of dip powder which I just let be because I figured they'd be filed a bit thinner afterwards. When she showed them to me I felt they were still so thick so I asked for them thinner. She filed unevenly causing empty spots which she then had to fill with new layers of dip powder causing my nails to be lumpy and being able to see the lines of the different layers. She tried and tried to correct it and also kept going in on filing the shape till eventually she was just digging into my nail beds. I eventually just asked her to finish because I didn't want to complain endlessly and I just wanted the pain of filing my skin to stop. I paid via Venmo without further complaint and left. At home I was trying to find anything good about my nails and I just couldn't. They were thick and painful so I called in to ask to speak to a manager to try to come to a solution. Kevin told me to come in at 5 and he'd fix them. Around 3 pm I get a call from the salon asking about my appointment at 5 and they asked if I could come in right away instead and I said sure I can be there in 20 mins and drove over. When I arrive I'm told they can't do it till 5. They recognized my face of confusion and frustration and Kevin told me to wait 15 mins which I didn't mind a short wait. When I sad down with Kevin he asked if I wanted them thinner. I said I wasn't sure what to do because the shape was off and they were thick but I just can't handle anymore filing. He said he would remove them carefully and he did so very quickly. Without saying anything else he just handed me cash quietly and said sorry. I was kind of taken aback that I was just handed some cash to leave basically. I'm not the type t argue with anyone doing a service for me so I just took the cash and left in disappointment. The damage to my nails is worse than a simple refund can fix. read more

I recommend this place with reservations. First: make sure you pay cash; there is a 2.5% service fee if you use a card. Second: There is a set price list, but make sure you clarify what the pricing or services are upfront. I asked for chrome and was not informed that there is a charge PER NAIL for the chrome. I called on a Sunday morning asking if I could walk in or if I needed to make an appointment. The gentleman on the phone kindly informed me that it would be best to make an appointment and he asked if I could come in at 1130. This worked perfectly so I headed over. When I arrived, it wasn't full, but everyone there was already working with a client. It wasn't clear if I needed to check in, so I gave my business name and sat down. I had only sat for about 5 minutes when another lady and her mom came in demanding an appointment. They were loud and a bit rude. The staff handled it well and sent them on their way. I was impressed by the interaction. Soon after that incident, it was my turn, I was led to a chair and told to put my feet in the water. They gave the color to the lady next to me, but she didn't need them since she had her own polish, so I had to ask her for the samples. I decided on the Natural Pedicure with mint ($35) and that I wanted to do a multicolor gel design with a chrome overlay. Never was I once told that there would be a $5 charge per nail. The positive: the pedicure was excellent. T, the technician was efficient, thorough and paid very close attention to detail. I showed her the 5 colors that I had selected on my phone and she was sure to confirm the color order I wanted before starting the job. She was very responsive to my requests for changes in the water temperature and she made sure that I was comfortable through the entire process. She definitely earned 5 stars. I subtracted 1 star for the pricing not being up front or listed anywhere, but I would definitely come back again because I think they did a good job. read more

Be careful going here. Ivy will burn you with the gel powder. She puts so much that it burns the skin under the nail. You will also have broken nails every few days if she uses the gel in the polish form. I came back every two days for a broken nail because of how she did my nails. Helen also will not listen to you when telling her what you want done to your nails. She will do what she wants. I'm not sure if she understands english well or not. Not a good experience. Also, I noticed lighter skin customers being greeted and darker skin customers ignored when coming in for service. I do not think i'll be back. read more

First off, this is my second time coming to this nail salon and I have had amazing experiences both times. The service is like nothing I have ever had before. The first time I had an appointment but this time around I called before going in asking if they accepted walk ins. They said of course but they preferred appointments. I got a pedicure and a full set. I personally am not a fan of getting pedicures but that is just a personal preference. My experience was still nice. After I was done, the lovely person doing my pedicure was nice enough to put my sandals back on my feet without me asking. I've never had any one do that before. She then proceeded to hand me my purse and that was a nice gesture as well. The man who did my nails was very nice and patient with me. Overall, I love this place, the employees are great and the service is amazing. Although walk ins are accepted it is best if you make an appointment to help them keep track of their customers. Called on a Sunday for an afternoon appointment. This place is bright and clean. The team is friendly and they did a great job on my nails. They came by and brought me a bottle of water. They have a huge selections of colors and products. There are multiple types of pedicures. I asked for a very specific gel manicure on my nails. I brought in a picture of what I was looking for and the nail tech happily accommodated and did a great job. I've gotten a ton of compliments on them already. I had to go to a new place because my nail girl was sick. These are the worst nails I've ever gotten. The pedicure and who did it was great they look good no issues. The fill with design is awful and I didn't have time to have them fix them because it took over an hour for my fill with this design. It's very sloppy, my shape is horrible and looks nothing like the picture. I will have to go home and fix myself. I totally lied about liking them to who I assume is the owner because I was uncomfortable to say anything in front of the lady who did them. I've been going to Color Nails and Spa for several years, even before the present management. Multiple times have I had issues with them not being ready for my appointment. It would be better if they did not take the appointment in the first place if they aren't going to have time. Three of us wasted 30 minutes waiting and even after that wait, they were not able to get us in and never let us know how long we would have to wait. They finally pulled one of us for a manicure, but the point was for us to be together. Yikes.. Came and tried this nail salon out based on the positive reviews for a basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was decent, but the manicure was terrible. They started my mom's services 15 minutes before mine and I somehow finished both before her. I think that's because my tech skipped cuticle care on my hands, only did one coat of polish which left it streaky and didn't paint my full nail. As soon as she finished she grabbed her stuff and left and the salon wasn't even closed. She didn't even bother helping me get my shoes back on with wet toes. When I went to pay I brought these issues up to who I assumed was the owner and he just kept repeating "sorry that happened" and seemed like he expected me to still pay, but finally said I would just be paying for a pedicure. AMBIANCE Feels like a causal nail spot. Very basic with spa massage chairs for pedicures and tables for manicures. MANICURE Requested the manicure with powder polish... MINUS ONE STAR for not cleaning my cuticles and buffing my nails to even it all out. There was no treatment of a manicure. The nail tech went straight to shaping my nails. MINUS ONE STAR for not shaping my nails as requested. I asked for oval shape. The nail tech shaped my nails on one hand oval and the nails on the other hand with square, which I did not notice until after she was done applying the powder. MINUS ONE STAR for applying the powder unevenly and super thick. The tops and tips of my nails felt so heavy and near my cuticle line was thin. The polish did not even last a week, before one nail completely lost the polish and then the other nails followed. By week two 8 of 10 nails were bare. I specifically got powder because the nail tech said it lasts longer than gel. Nope! PEDICURE On par with usual services. A thorough cleaning. An even coat of paint. I am thankful this mail technician allowed me to switch up the paint when I noticed it did not match my nails. CUSTOMER SERVICE Pedicure nail tech was nice and chill. Manicure nail tech was not friendly. Another nail tech went around to offer water and candy, that was a nice touch. PARKING Enough spots in the private lot. OVERALL Not the best experience for a manicure and pedicure. Did I even get a manicure? It just felt like a polish. I will not return. read more
