I am genuinely shocked by the level of service my wife received at your salon on Sunday. As we have recently moved to the area, we were looking for a reliable, local salon to become our regular spot, but after this experience, we will never be returning. The entire appointment was a masterclass in poor management and disrespect. Despite there being absolutely no one ahead of my wife, it took a staggering 45 minutes to complete a simple nail polish change--a service we were originally quoted only 20 minutes for. To make matters worse, the woman who initially handled us was incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the encounter. She eventually passed my wife off to a man who from what she could tell was napping in the back room before he was tasked with her nails. It is frankly insulting to treat a paying customer with such blatant disregard. To top it all off, the polish itself was clearly watered down and applied poorly multiple times. We walked in hoping to find a place that would be our new "go-to" given how close you are to our new home, but the unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy we encountered today have ensured that we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I have a trusty nail salon that I frequent but was trying to find a place a little closer to home and a little less pricey for my acrylic overlay. Vacaville nails did the job! I came the day after Thanksgiving and shower up about 1030ish. No one was there so I wasn't sure if they were closed for the holiday. I called and they said they would be right there so I was able to get in about 1045. Cute place with a LOT going in inside. Lots of sparkly glitter and little nicknacks! They have a pretty singing bird, too! Now for my nail service, she did an excellent job quick and efficient with the exact color I wanted. I was in and out in 45 min! It's a very homey feeling type place so if you're bougie you may not like it. For what I need it was perfect. The only problem I see right now is that after a week, the base of my nails seem to be chipping away already. My last set at my old place lasted almost a whole month without doing that. Zero stars if i could. I will never come here again. Had they taken care of me, I would have returned but they care more about the quick buck than keeping a customer. Was $30 really worth losing thousands of dollars from a single customer? Plus my friend was with me and she definitely won't be coming here after witnessing the way I was treated. And to think I actually liked this place just to be greatly disappointed. I don't expect my nails to look perfect but I do expect to be treated ethically and as I treat you. So Sunday 6/30/24 I went into Vacaville Nails near the Raley's at 5:15ish pm. I got a mani/pedi which I do every 2-3 weeks but i've been trying new spots trying to find my favorite. Well, this one was by far the worst and I'll tell you why. I should have noticed the signs (her being rude and reserved, taking forever in the back while my fingers sat in acetone for 20 mins but I tend to see the best in people so i have a blind spot. Anyways, i initially said gel, the husband said that they would be weak because i had acrylic on my natural nail. I said I'll let you know once i feel my natural nail. Once i felt them, i said 2 separate times let's put on the acrylic. Either they didn't hear me or just ignored me but either way the wife put on the gel. I'm pretty anti confrontational unless i feel taken advantage of so I didn't say anything because they felt strong enough with the gel in that moment. The next day i was out of town but the entire day my nails were bending basically backwards and i was scared my nails were going to break. I didn't get into town until 10pm so this morning 7/2/2024, I called to see if they could fix my nails. She said come in at 2 and I said that I would pay the difference of what the acrylic cost. (I already paid $40 for my nails and $45 for my toes plus the $10 tip.) I came in, she redid my nails quickly, didn't speak a word to me the entire time. When we finished she said it would be $30 because they took $15 off. As a discount like WTAF. ($45 for the acrylic) i said but i paid $40 2 days before so i should only be playing the difference of FIVE DOLLARS. I lit her up, and rightfully so! I said ill pay it but I'll never be coming here ever again. No apology. She cared more about $30 than making sure a customer left happy so id return and help her business further. Thats $100 id be bringing her business every 2 weeks! Thats $2,400 a year you just lost. AND THE PLACE WAS EMPTY! You clearly need the business. You are in no place to be treating your customers so poorly. I highly recommend you find another salon. Theres a reason the place is empty and they have no worker. Also, lay off the sparkles.. overkill is an understatement. It looks trashy and a complete eye sore. Embarrassing. read more

I wanted to love this place! The owners and staff were kind and inviting and I had a great conversation with Billy while he prepped my nails. I felt totally comfortable. My nails were finished by someone else, which I didn't mind at all. She was professional and worked quickly and from what I could see my nails looked good. I could see that there were some minor imperfections but nothing I thought, at the time, was going to be a big deal. So I paid and took a closer look when I got to my car. That's when I really noticed just how imperfect they were. The polish was not smooth, the bronze tips were not even, and even the nail shape wasn't that consistent. I am finally leaving after a mani pedi 3 hours later.. not because of lengthy or luxurious service but because I was left sitting while other customers complained about their service and my technician went to fix said complaints. Massage chairs don't work, and I was left sitting so long my feet went numb at one point. At technicians recommendation I opted for dip powder on my nails, and I hate them. They did no manicure type service - no lotion, no massage, no cuticle maintenance. They just applied the dip powder and sent me on my way (powder is not even TO the cuticle) and not even covering my entire nail. It looks lumpy and thick. Never going back. read more

Love Love Love my lashes. Got them done for the first time because I was a bridesmaid for a wedding. I am not use to even wearing make up so lash extensions were a huge step for me. Everyone loved them and they looked really great for pictures. I have to say, I love waking up and not having to put on mascara b/c the lashes make my lashes look full and long. Tiffany did an amazing job and I actually fell asleep for a little bit on the table as she was putting on the extensions. I have had them on for a little over a week and they still look great. Where to start? My pointer is crooked. She Left an acrylic bead on my nail as she talked to a customer on the phone, just left it to harden. She ignores it and i tell her that i want her to redo that nail. She told me that she would remove it and redo it but charge me for it. i said take them off i don't want them anymore over & over. But did she listen, no. All my nails are lifted and she caused extreme pain. She rushed my service and wouldn't listen to what i wanted. Nail polish is bubbled and shape is completely wrong. They continued to call me bad names as they assumed i didn't understand, but shame on them. The ladies that do the pedicures are good, i loved my pedicure. But if your getting acrylics, please go somewhere else. I highly recommend taking that license away from her. read more

I went for the basic pedicure ($30) which included the massage, hot stones, hot towels, and choice of polish. I went with a coral-colored OPI polish and it's lasted more than 2 weeks without chipping so far! I didn't have cash, but they did have an ATM machine inside. I usually try my best to keep my reviews constructive but this is the first time I truly felt like the customer service was a 0 out of 10. I was at this nail salon for over two hours to remove dip powder off of 6 nails. I did not have an appointment however if they were unable to see me in a timely manner they should have been honest and told me from the beginning. They also charged me $30 and did a rushed poor quality manicure and even nicked me with the nail filer a few times.. shortly after that I stopped the nail tech from fully doing my manicure due to how much of my day was wasted. read more

I am a usual customer here, usually I am happy with the service, I barely have any issues but recently if there is something I am unhappy with, The owner will try to convince me that I am wrong in what I am seeing with my eyelashes. I have overheard more than 1 customer return complaining about their lashes falling out too soon or their lashes being different each time they have them done by her. If I am paying my hard earned money I want to be happy with what im paying for. I am being made to feel that I am asking for too much because I want my eyelashes the same style that I recently got them, she took a picture of them with her phone. I asked her to bring up the picture since she didnt remember how to do my lashes and she said she deleted the picture. Whats the point of taking a picture of the work then deleting it? she takes pictures to remember the style, I am a regular customer there. Sometimes my lashes arent full enough or long enough at the tail, why must I just accept that and not say anything about it? just to keep someone on their high horse? and to not look like im complaining? she said its because of me lacking natural lashes, which isnt true because in place of long lashes she has very short ones there, totally different from the style I had recently gotten. I do not like how I was treated recently, and I might not return there. There is a nail lady who works there that I love, she is really good, I wont return for the lashes though. The owner needs to admit it to herself when she is having an off day and isnt doing her job at %100 and stop blaming the customer. If I call or return back its because something I paid for was not up to par. I didnt complain about my nails or pedicure because those were done by someone else and they were done really good. My only complaint was my eyelashes that the owner did and I was not happy with the service. She added more lashes, after I complained which solved the issue but In the process she compared her hair texture to mine, and said my natural eyelashes are just like my hair, tangled up and that her hair is straight which means her natural eyelashes are straight.... sounds a bit racist to me. Ive never seen anyone of any race with tangled natural lashes. Im really rubbed the wrong way by how I was treated. 3 stars for the women who did my Nails and Toes. They are awesome. read more

I got the natural look but the are way more than I even imagined. I've been getting complements on them since I got them.
