Van has been my manicurist twice now, and both times shes given me an incredible massage, which was so relieving after a long day on my feet. My feet are a lot of work, but she never rushes through my service! I have been three times and everytime has seriously been the best pedicure of my life. I don't get manicures, but I can tell the owner has good relationships with all of her clients, and does some really cool nails. Chose this salon based on reviews and proximity. Making an appointment for my mani/pedi was easy and accommodating. There was less than a 5 minute wait upon arrival. Van was my technician and she did a good job. Nice leg massage. Excellent polish work. I bring my own because a lot of salons add thinner and I don't care for that. I also removed my own polish before arrival. Lol. Salon has 6 spa chairs for pedicures and 6 manicure stations. Location is inside a small strip mall (Standish Plaza) across from Big Lots and 2 doors down from Sweet Peas. Parking is sufficient. Not super busy for a Saturday afternoon but I loved that. Cost for basic (Classic) mani pedi was $55. There is an Atm located inside but they also accept plastic for a $1 fee. read more

I tried NV-Us twice this summer with my daughter for fills. The first time I got a younger female (sorry I do not remember her name) and showed her a nail design I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. My daughter had a man doing her nails and got French tips and also was very happy with the service. The fills lasted an appropriate amount of time and the price was comparable to other salons. We came back a few weeks later and we got fills and pedicures. We both had a man do our fills and he did a great job and was so fast! I got simple gel color and she got French tips again. The pedicures were done by two different women. Her pedicure went ok but I wasn't a fan of mine. They did very little and it was very expensive for what we usually get elsewhere. Taking off my gel on my toes she decided to use the nail Dremel tool and as she was pulling it back realized she took the top layer of my nail off which was painful but it was a legit accident so I'm not upset. My daughter ordered the same pedicure and hers had a lot more components to it and took a lot longer so guessing my pedicure was just not what it was supposed to be. I'm not taking any stars off for my opinion of the pedicures because the fills are well worth those 5 stars and I will continue to prefer this salon to do fills but I'll probably go elsewhere for my pedicures. read more

Came here on a Friday night! I was surprised they were available for walk ins. My nail tech got me in and out. I got the fresh pedicure. She put slices of cucumber on my legs. I totally felt fresh and moisturizer with them. I also appreciated their leg scrub, you could feel the microbeads. Guess I should have read more of the reviews! I was looking for a nail salon to get a new full set with a detailed design and both me n the hubby a pedi. We did the pedi first and should have known how they started we were in for a disappointment. Pedi water was cold for both of us. When we asked for hot water the tech added a little water to bring up to room temperature. Ok no biggie. I showed my tech the nail art I wanted because I was going on a cruise. She says no problem but it will be $59 just for the design and then additional for set and will take about 2 1/2hrs. Price was typical but Hmmm typically doesn't take that long for a detailed set but what the heck I wanted these nails. About 5 min goes by and she asks if I maybe want another design. I mean at this point I'm starting not to feel she is confident to do the design but dang the pics on their yelp were all on point! She then suggests I check out her instagram. Ok nice work but no tropical or beach kind of nail art so I start looking for a more simplistic design. I find a basic orange/nude ombré in matte with a simple palm tree. She says that she can do that. Ok I can compromise. Asked her for a color for my toes to match the coralish orange color in the nail design. Well my mistake for not looking close enough that she painted my toes more of a fallish burnt orange color. She then moved me to her station to start the set. She asked me what color I wanted the tips on the picture. I'm confused at this point as she took a pic of the pic I showed her. She then shows me a brown and says that's what is on my toes. Ummm nope. It might not be bright orange (again it's more a burnt orange) but definitely not brown. At this point she hands me the samples and walks away. 5 min go by... 10 min go by... wait she's at another station doing someone else's nail! 20 min later hubby is done with his pedi and the tech had cut him twice, failed to clean up around his toes and did not go back far enough to the cuticles. My lady finally returns to me (she finished the other client) and I say I'm no longer going to get the set. She picks up the nail samples and walks away. I go back to yelp to see if maybe we went to the wrong salon. Nope this is the one but apparently the majority of good reviews and pictures are 2 techs that are no longer there. The people working here now acted like they just didn't care. Guess I'll wait until I get to Miami to get my fresh set read more

The new owners have improved this salon and is so welcoming. The spa chairs are comfortable and accommodate petite, average, tall which I've never seen this before at other places I've been to. Treatment I've received by Mimi is full set/fill with designs every three weeks Individual review: Mimi is great on communication and schedules appointments in advance. As a client I appreciate this because it allows me to fit in a nail spa day during my busy schedule. Mimi works very fast and meticulously adds designs that I ask for. The cost is reasonable for the art and work that is done. Treatments I've received from Nina is pedicures with gel polish Individual review: Nina provides a great pedicure treatment. I select the pedicure or my choosing ( 3-4 options available) and am able to relax on the upgraded spa chairs. My feet get rejuvenated every time I go in. I'm glad they offer gel nail polish for pedicures because this keeps the polish looking fresh for a long time. I've been to NV nails a few times but this the time was the last time for sure. I usually come with a picture of what I want so I am patient and understanding if they can't get it exactly like the photo. This time they could not accomplish the photo after many attempts they became irritated and not willing to compromise. I came up with a quick solution but they still Did not want to do the work to make my nails right. I would've them told me from the start they didn't know how to do the design. Instead they charged me $85 for a botched set. They knew these were my birthday nails and still did not try to fix their mistakes. Recently I went in for an appointment for a removal and new full set. I showed my nail tech a photo of what I wanted, a popular trend that has been going around. Chocolate glazed donut nails. I work full time and go to school, and I was so excited to just relax and treat myself to a fresh set. She asked me what color, and I showed her the picture. She nodded her head and got to work. After she was done, she asked me what color again. I was confused, because I showed her the photo of the nails I wanted, and she did not ask me to pick what specific color I wanted. I assumed she knew how to create that popular color trend option. I hesitated, and tried to find the picture again to compare and find the color. She seemed irritated. She applied the color I chose (light brown) and then applied a purple hued chrome shade on top. Purple and brown together look awful. I asked if she had a different chrome. Again, she seemed incredibly irritated by this. She got a different shade. This chrome was yellow. She ultimately just left my nails plain brown. My point is this... I am in healthcare, and strive to give patients incredible care. Customer service is not what it used to be. I'm very nice. Had she just tried to find a different option or done anything to try to help me find what I was looking for, I would have been happy. I ended up going to Ulta after to find a shade to layer over the top. Take care of your clients! They're working hard to pay good money for quality work. read more

Walked in right after they opened at 9am without an appointment and was seated right away. All the women were very nice setting me up. The salon was clean and tidy. I chose the #2 Fresh Green Pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure opened a sanitized set of tools and buffers in front of me (This is so important and necessary!!) During my pedicure s left my toenails in an uneven squared shape during the filing, but after asking to have them rounded they looked better. She did a good job at cleaning up the cuticles and dead skin with the nippers. (This was my first pedicure in about a year, so there was a good amount of clean up to do.) The scrub was nice, not too rough but enough to exfoliate. The massage was just okay, a lot of running her hand up and down my leg in the same spots...and not a lot of focus on my feet. Then came the quick hot stone massage, the stones weren't all that hot. Just warmer then my skin temp it felt like but maybe that's because they had just opened when I got there? The nail polish application looks really good. Overall, I'm pleased and would return here for a pedicure in the future. read more

When we arrived they were very welcoming and sat us quickly. Harry did my daughters pedi and full set. He did such a good job.
