I had my nail appointment today and she did not disappoint! Lynn was very nice, careful and on point with her work! She went above and beyond for my service. I had two little cuts on both my thumbs on the side of my nails and she put neosporin at the end of the service which was so thoughtful. I remember coming here, seemed like a slow day since there weren't many people waiting. Brought my whole family, my mom and my 2 daughters. We weren't greeted by anyone, no one asked us anything so we just sat down and waited. About 20 minutes passed and then finally someone told us there would be a wait. Didn't say how long the wait was. No acknowledgment for at least 30 minutes. We eventually left. We came because the reviews were decent, shop looked clean. Trash service though. Rude workers. I needed a pedicure and was surprised this place was open on a Sunday. They have plexiglass dividers and staff wears masks. So they're following Covid safety protocols. Nail tech did have me sit next to another lady when there was other further booths available. So that was odd. Called for an appt and was taken right away. Nail tech did a good job. I'm a frequent customer of this nail salon and they usually do wonderful work. However I have felt the last few times we have gone in for pedicures their standards are slipping. I went in for a basic pedicure and felt I got up-charged on the price of a basic pedicure and the results were less than standard. I felt my pedicurist was rushed. I asked for a basic thin French tip and it did not come out smooth. Looks horrible. Will be looking to find a new spot. read more

This place is by far the worst nail place I've ever been to. I came here today with a friend for a mani/pedi and the lady (I didn't get her name) started with my pedicure everything was fine until she cut some skin around my toe. She was super rough with my feet I had to tell her to please stop being so rough I am bleeding! Then she finished up, it was a very mediocre pedicure and when I got home I noticed my polish wasn't put on evenly smh. Then she started on my manicure and cut a huge chunk of skin off my finger and it started bleeding profusely that I needed a bandaid. As u can see it's still bleeding through the bandaid and the huge chunk of skin missing without the bandaid. At that point I was beyond pissed! First my toe now my finger! I told her to stop my manicure immediately and did not continue after that. Complete waste of $50! I will NEVER come back here and wouldn't recommend this place. I usually go to blossom nails in vacaville and will continue for now on. Much better service and staff that know how to avoid cutting your skin. Parking during the hour I went (Friday 11 am) was a bit scarce. This review pertains to Minh. He is just the best!! I had the zen pedi that included the hot stone and cucumber scrub. It's been awhile since I got a pedi and it was exactly what I needed. I've had Minh as my nail tech at another location and his quality of work had not strayed. For the first time however, I got a regular mani from him (no gel) and he did not disappoint. He took his time cleaning my cuticles and also shaping them. Came here yesterday to get my nails done. I got the basic pedicure (not gel) and a fill. Everything came out to $70. Why 4 stars, 1- I had three different nail techs. (I tipped all three) 2- Wish they had a sign saying accepting only Cash or Venmo. Note:There is probably a 4x6 paper taped on the plexiglass where you check in and says Venmo but nothing else. I assumed that was another way of payment. 3- I don't have Venmo. 4-Used the ATM in the nail salon. ATM fee is $0.50 cents (that's the cheapest ATM fee I've ever paid, which I didn't mind) 5-The lady that did my pedi was rough and I didn't enjoy it at all. The service is okay but I'm not sure I'll be back if they're only accepting cash and/or Venmo. BUT....if I do, I'll request Minh or Maggie? (I think that's their name) read more

They are very thin and shaped beautifully. Very natural in appearance. The fill is seamless. There was quite a bit of lift but the lines are absolutely invisible. The acrylic goes all the way down to my cuticle and you can absolutely not see where it ends and where my nail starts I mean it is flawless. I will definitely be going back to Helen again next time. I went online to check out reviews of nail salons in the Vacaville area as I was just arriving to Vacaville for a few days. I found "Star Nails" among many others but liked what some of the reviews said so I thought I'd try them. Much to my delight the gal that answered the phone gave me an appointment within the hour of my call! This was late afternoon and I'd never been there before and they would be closing in a little over an hour. When I arrived for the appointment, they said the girl who made the appointment wasn't in! All the customers there had appointments, it was busy and staff seemed very surprised about who gave me an appointment. It was all very confusing. Thankfully one of the kind ladies - "Lyna" said she would do my pedicure and manicure. I was so relieved as I was in town for my mom's funeral. I live out-of-state, was very tired and had just driven over 8 hours to get to Vacaville. I hadn't even checked in at our hotel yet. Lyna did a very thorough job on both my manicure and pedicure. They turned out beautiful! I was so grateful that I wouldn't have to have scraggly looking hands and feet at Mom's funeral/memorial. I came in this afternoon with my daughter. I'm glad I made an appointment for us as they were busy! We arrived a little early, were greeted immediately, and only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. It was my daughter's first time getting her nails done professionally, and even though it was just a kid's mani (she's 8), it turned out so cute and she couldn't wait to FaceTime her friends and show them. As for me, this was my first mani in YEARS (I know ‍). I really wish I had gotten our technician's name, because she was incredible. I have been seeing Lyn for over 4 years and since recently was happy with the results of her work. Then come to find out, I took the gel polish of my toes at home and all my toes were infected with fungus. She didn't bother to tell me last time I was getting a pedicure that she had given me this infection. I could've treated it sooner instead losing all of my toe nails. My finger nails have been breaking and the acrylic rough around all the edges. Like she gave up and just doesn't give a shit anymore. Needless to say... I will not be returning to this salon. Okay this is amazing! My nails NEVER last this long! I haven't had to file them at all! This is 1 month and a few days of growth, no acrylic, just gel. I always get gel, but this stuff is particularly awesome, I almost ALWAYS have chipping/hangnails just because my nails are not very strong and I'm rough on my hands! I can't remember what the brand is, but it's the kind that has the same colors for both gel and traditional nail polish. 1 whole month and NO chipping!!!
