I came here after having an ingrown toenail.. it was so painful so I decided to go in, the gal who helped me was absolutely wonderful. She took her time with my nails and was thorough made sure she got the toenail issue fixed. So instead of apologizing for what happened they responded with it being my fault. That's not how you should run a business. I don't know if your system made a mistake or what but I had Ann's card in my hand when I made the online appointment. I made the appointment with Ann because she did my nails so well the last time I was there. You leave out the part that I was told Wendy would be able to do at least ONE of the pics I gave you (I showed you 4) you picked. Then when it didn't turn out she didn't even remove the polish completely. I have color around the edges when I asked for it to just be removed and put clear over my fill. The problem is your behavior when I complained. You looked me in the face and told me you never said she could do what I showed you, you told me that I never gave you options, and you had the audacity to tell me that there isn't anything wrong with what I paid for. THAT IS A PROBLEM. In fact I'm going to attempt again to post pictures of it. All you would have had to do was APOLOGIZE for a bad experience and move on. But instead you double down and say it's MY fault. Every other customer as they were leaving told me to go back in and say something (I was standing outside talking with a friend) so other customers saw this behavior and saw it as a problem. I wasn't going to even say a word. But then I did and this was your choice in a response. Hi, I've been a customer for about four years and usually see Wendy for my gel manicures. I called yesterday because I needed a repair on a lifting nail and wanted to request Wendy since she's my preferred technician. I was disappointed by the response I received from Andrew. I understand if Wendy was unavailable, but Andrew told me that she wouldn't like me requesting her because she wouldn't make money, which felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. As a long time customer, I simply wanted to see the technician whose work I trust. Unfortunately, this interaction with Andrew left me feeling unwelcome, and I've decided that I will no longer be returning to the salon. I wanted to share this feedback because I believe it's important for management to be aware of how interactions like this can affect loyal customers. See below for a great example of the rudeness and unprofessionalism customers receive here. After being a loyal customer for years, it's disappointing to see criticism met with defensiveness instead of accountability. The fact that management feels the need to argue with reviewers rather than address concerns speaks volumes. My daughter showed Kevin a picture and he did his absolute best by using his time to make her nails look almost exactly like the photo. In my opinion Kevin went above and beyond! I'm super basic so I don't typically get my nails done but when Spring and Summer hit, I make it a point to get my toes together. I was able to get a last min appt online for a basic pedicure and they were able to take me to the chair as soon as I came in. They have a pretty good selection of gel color options, and the pedicure packages start at $35 for a basic one. It is $15 extra for gel polish, but get the gel polish. It won't last you if you don't. The basic pedi gets you the typical foot bath in warm water, nail trim and cuticle clean up, foot/leg scrub as well as a foot/leg massage. Wendy was so great. She offered me cold water to drink and really took her time with my whole pedi. I didn't feel like she rushed through it at all. She even did 5 coats (base, 3 coats polish, and top coat) whereas most places will only do 2 coats of polish. She did a really great job with the polish and even went back in trim my cuticles back farther for nice, neat toes! They do accept card but 2% transaction fee, otherwise you can send venmo or zelle. They just ask you to not indicate that it's for nails! I love that they have online bookings and last minute availability for a busy mommy like me, so this will be my new go to spot in the area for my pedis. read more

I was disappointed with my last set at my usual place that I go to. I had gotten my nails done earlier that week and just wasn't happy with them so I decided to try Cali nails and spa based on their yelp rating. They did not disappoint! Amy did my nails. She took off the old set without hurting me. She did a new that was absolutely stunning. I was so happy! Very clean designs. And she was fast! I was in and out of there in a little over an hour, which is amazing given the takeoff and the full set and the design. The interior isn't super fancy. There's not a lot of decorations hanging on the walls. But I think I've found a new spot. I will definitely come back here for my next set or fill. Oh yeah- the pricing was good too. read more

My irreparable, damaged nail cut occurred July 7,2025 so this review is submitted in case that employee is still working. I originally would ask for Ben to do my mani-pedicures and he was wonderful and consistent! However, on this date Ben had done my pedicure and was going to start on my manicure when the woman who was upfront answering phones and rushing all around, told him to go do someone else and she would do my manicure. I so regret not speaking up and refusing. Ben didn't seem to have any say. The woman would stop and go answer the phone while working on my nails and was not focused on what she was doing. It wasn't until I went out to the car saw blood on my nail. I should have gone back inside and confronted the woman. I decided to go home and wash my hands thoroughly. I assumed the nail would heal with care. The nail never healed, and the doctor says it is ONYCHOMYCOSIS and because of its location, the nail will not adhere to the nail bed so I will be stuck with having a permanent disfigured nail and/or losing the nail. I am so upset. The only reason I am submitting this review is to warn potential clients to realize how important it is to stay with your person you have requested and speak up right away when you know something is wrong. read more

Saw so many great reviews about Andrew, so clearly I had to make an appointment with him after my tech from House of Hues had to cancel last minute. When I arrived, I was greeted and seated right away. Andrew asked what I wanted done and I showed him inspo pics. I know that every salon and tech do things differently but I am always extra observant and critical when it comes to new people working on my nails, especially when it comes down to using their sharp tools. Not once did I flinch or feel scared that I would get cut. Andrew was careful. Although, the only painful moments I experienced was when he used his long nails to push the sides of my nails down or under my nails!? Not sure why techs do that, but I dislike it, and kept thinking of how people have gotten tortured with bamboo being pushed under their nails! That went on a few times during the service. I also had a lot of "what the hell??" moments when looking at my nails in between him placing the acrylic, powder, shaping, filing, etc. because they looked lumpy or uneven. I kept telling myself I was going to say something, but before I could, he would return to the nails and when I looked at them again, they were perfect! Guess I just needed to trust the process. But the shape, length, and designs came out better than I could have wanted. Aside from that painful nail thing he does and the awkward/tense interactions, I can say I was very pleased with the results on the outside. The underside of the nails look a bit messy and the sides of my fingertips are still very sore (writing this 17 hours post service). I perhaps would return, if my go-to nail tech @ House of Hues is not available. After all, Andrew DID do a good job from what is visible on top. read more

I have never been more disgusted with a salon in my life. To give a back story I came here with my daughter to get her a full set. When we were done I sent Zelle for $55 and tipped $5 cash. The Zelle was taking forever to clear so I told them I would just get cash in the car. When I got to my car around the corner someone had smashed into the side of it. They were still there so I called the police and my insurance. Meanwhile the owner Tan Pham continued to call and text while I was on hold with the police department. I was still in the parking lot. He then started to text me nasty messages saying I was a bad mom with a dirty face and all kinds of despicable things. Once the report was made I walked back in with the cash and he started yelling at me saying I tried to steal from him not even understanding my car just got smashed in the parking lot. I asked for a receipt of payment and left. I am literally going to tell everyone i know to stay away. I have all the messages he sent and will have them posted on yelp and other social media outlets. read more

Happy with the outcome. Have a 15 minute buffer before your appointment starts, I think that's typical of anywhere. Sat down and he immediately started on my nails. I had a photo from Pinterest it took me 30 minutes to find the colors while he worked on my nails, that was rough trying to use one hand in between changes. Andrew did a good job I picked him from the reviews online. Fast service. This was matte finish. $60 for the whole job. I would come back for sure. read more

Mistakes happen... In search of a good nail salon in the Fairfield/Vacaville area and this one appealed to me the most. I called to see if they took walk-ins for a mani/pedi (they do) and was given a time to show up, it was perfect. When I arrived, I waited for less than 10min and was seen by Alice. Really nice nail tech and she shaped and painted my nails exactly how I wanted them. She did get me pretty good while snipping my cuticles... but mistakes happen, my biggest concern was infection, especially since the bleeding didn't stop til I left (there for 2hrs). Nonetheless, she was very apologetic, no discount or complimentary service was given but at least my nails look beautiful‍ My pedicure (#2) was amazing. The pedi massage was sooo relaxing and I could have sat in that massage chair all day. My toes turned out very nice and although I didn't get his name, he did a wonderful job on my pedi. Prices are along the lines of every other "good" salon and the customer service, color selection and salon itself was inviting and clean as could be. I'd stop by again! read more
