No prices posted to upcharge tf out of you once it's time to pay! Literal sticker shock at the counter. I got basic 1 color, no design SHORT nails every time. For the price and service you get NOT WORTH no more than $45!!! First off all, they don't offer complimentary water or mimosas at all. No massage unless you complain about it. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE STICKER SHOCK I paid $127 plus tip for a Mani/Pedi with basic polish and nail polish removal from my toes. There are no prices listed anywhere in the shop and when I asked how much it would be for a plain nail polish manicure, I was quoted $35. Imagine my surprise when I was told that my total would be $127. I did end up finding the prices on Booksy and will attach them to this review. With all this said, I absolutely love how my nails came out. I called and was able to get a same day appointment fory friend and myself. When we arrived, we were able to go right in, pick out polished and start out sessions. I appreciate that we were able to have same day service with it being Easter weekend. I picked ad array of spring colors and the technician happily obliged to paint my nails in the requested order of colors. The salon was sterile, peaceful and welcoming. The technicians and the host were very friendly and we had polite conversations. My nails came out nice and neat and I was very happy with my color choice. If the pricing was more up front, this would be a 4 star review and I would go back. I had a great experience here at Luxe Nailscape. On a Sunday afternoon they are open until 7:30, so it was nice to have a place close by open late while everyone else closed at 5. One suggestion I have is that they try to incorporate a menu like other shops where you can see the pricing of everything. They don't have that here so you walk in blindly unless you ask. They don't have the usual massage chairs like other shops, they have big sofa couch looking seats with pillow cases, and even their tubs for pedicures are not your usual bubbly ones. They have still warm water where you place your feet in. The pedicure seems like it's one option, again no menu or different kinds of pedicures to choose from. The lady who did my pedicure, Natalie, was very gentle, patient, friendly and talkative. I feel like she took her time to carefully clean every nail, scrub and massage my legs/feet and even with the coloring did a great job. I decided to also do a gel x manicure (it was my first time) and I really loved it as I usually hate getting the acrylic manicures due to the damage that can happen on your nails. The gel x is a healthier option and not much damage done to your actual nails. I loved the length and shape Hannah did. She also was very gentle, patient and did a great job! I definitely will be back to get a gel x manicure, I loved how friendly everyone was. read more

I've been getting my nails done with Tay Tay for over six years. I used to see her in Vallejo, but when she opened her shop in Fairfield, I decided she was worth the drive. She always does special nails on me. I bring her in pictures of things I see and she delivers. She doesn't use a lot of stickers or decals. She hand paints everything and she does an amazing job. The shop is also nice and quiet. It's a great environment and you should check them out. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. First they have these lame chairs, not even electrical and neither is the tub your feet go in for a pedi. The water was not warm... barely my body temperature. One of the main reasons I go to a salon is to enjoy those features. Next they have no price lists? Why? You're a business! Then for my pedi the lady did a great massage in the middle of the pedi but took an hour to finish a regular gel job, so glad I did not get that "natural gel" because wait until you hear about my manicure. Luckily this lady was gentle and did not dig into my skin like the next nail tech. Then I sat down for my mani, i originally was going to get acrylic but since to pedi lady took too long but I did not. I went for the "infamous natural gel", and when I tell you every single nail chipped off and into my skin... the most flimsy work I have ever endured, I do not recommend whatever they use, your pretty natural nails will be RUINED like mine. I literally waited 2 months to write this and that's how upset I was to even revisit this situation. Lastly, if you thought the devil was a lie about money now, don't go to this nail shop, I'd rather skip on down to ghettoville and pay 75$ and give them a 30$ tip then pay 135$ for the crisis they left with me. The only reason this place deserves 2 stars is because of the massage on my feet/legs. Will never go back here and no I didn't leave a tip. read more

Can't speak on their quality of work because I bailed before getting anything done. It's correct there are no prices so after getting my gel taken off I asked how much it would be and almost laughed out loud when she said my gel x set was going to be $98.00. Nothing fancy just a normal length single color set. I pay $60 at my salon. When I changed my mind and asked if I could go with a gel manicure instead, she told me $60 PLUS $20.00 to remove my gel. I've never been charged $20 for a removal with a service. It felt like she was making it up as she went and it wasn't about the money but the principle- totally felt like a rip off. I paid $20 plus tip for the removal and left with no nails. Super unfortunate and after asking why the high prices, I wasn't really given any justifiable reasons. The chairs were broken. I was actually told not to lean back because i would fall backwards. Which should have been my red flag to get up and leave! My back still hasn't recovered. All i wanted was French tips and she had a redo it 3 times! Even after I gave the nail tech a picture to reference she still couldn't get it right. She was trying her best but she is obviously still training. I hate my nails, the lines and quality aren't there. Then to top it off they charged me $180! which is so laughable. One hundred and eighty dollars for a French fill, GTFO! Don't get me wrong, if the service was $180 worth of quality I wouldn't mind paying it but it was no where near close. My nails aren't even worth half of that. And then when i asked to be given a breakdown she couldn't even explain why it was so much. I just paid it and left, vowing to never return. This salon seemed nice at first glance, but after some time there, I started to notice several red flags. I went in for a full set of gel overlays on my nails and a gel pedicure. I was one of the last customers there, and they actually locked the door and asked me to pay before finishing the service -- which made me very uncomfortable. They also don't have real pedicure spa chairs. Instead, they use a large bowl of water for soaking your feet, and the seating is quite uncomfortable. When it came time to pay, the total was $237 -- which shocked me. I still tipped each person $10, but I was upset by the overall cost. When I asked for clarification, I was told that the gel overlay starts at $95 and that I was charged extra for French tips on each nail. I've never been to a salon that charges per nail for that design, and none of this was communicated upfront. There was also no visible price menu anywhere. For that price, I expected exceptional quality -- but my nails didn't reflect the cost at all. Honestly, I could have gone to a beauty college and received similar work for a fraction of the price. On a positive note, my leg massage was great and my toes turned out fine, but that was the only redeeming part of the experience. If you're looking to treat yourself to a mani-pedi, this is not the place to go. I'm still baffled by being charged extra for each French tip and the lack of price transparency. Do yourself a favor and drive to House of Hue Nails Spa in Vacaville by Brenden Theaters -- you'll have a much better experience there! read more

I had to really think about writing this review because I understand having a business. It's a beautiful place and the staff was very nice. But my experience started with being in there for four and a half hours for a gel pedicure and gel dip. They ended up charging me $230 for both. My nails chipped within 48 hours and my toes within 72 hours. For the prices that are being charged does not equate to the quality of the work you receive. ADVICE: Before you autodown, ask them what you will be charged for your services and make sure they don't upcharge you at the end! Will not be going back and do not recommend! read more

NOPE! Save your money!! This salon is #1 DIRTY!! They have no salon chairs with massages, no real pedicure tubs just a plastic bowl, WAY WAY OVER PRICED. I got an acrylic full set and the lady did a horrible job and it was 85 dollars for an acrylic full set with no design! Just a basic color! The lady rushed my nails because they closed at 730 and she didn't use her time correctly. I'm pissed, I'm embarrassed that I spent this much and they look like crap!! Then the owner has the audacity to say that's a pretty color. Please save your money and self!! ALSO want to mention they do not clean their tools! The lady who did my nails was just pulling random supplies from everywhere!! To the owner, lower your prices or get better nail techs that can live up to your expectations cause this is straight robbery! $169 for A BASIC FULL SET AND A PEDI! I specifically went to look for a place that did GelX or hard gel extensions, because I have had bad experiences with acrylic and dip. I made a booking online (through an app) for a full set and a pedi. It's an easily found place, and when I got there I was lucky that there was no one else waiting so I got both services done at once by Erin and Lina. Both of them super nice and accommodating, soft on the filing (I have thin nails so I appreciate it!) and detailed with their work. I will definitely be back! The only one thing I wish they had is massage chairs but unless that's a deal breaker you're going to do great coming here. I contacted Luxe Nails ape through Yelp and they were quick to respond! Within 10 minutes I had a same day appointment for a manicure (acrylic) and pedicure. When I say the service was a 10/10 I am not one that does that lightly! My pedicure was done by Natalie. She was so sweet and kind. I let her know my toe nails were in rough shape and she said no problem! She took great care of them and made them lol amazing (I don't normally get pedicures because I keep my toe nails so short but Natalie made me feel like I could always get one done!). Lina did my acrylic manicure with design. She also was so amazing and took such great care with my nails. She was able to do the design I showed her. A bonus (and I know this can't happen every time) was that the manicure and pedicure were done at the same time!! The atmosphere was great. Never did I feel like I was being talked about or made fun of (as I have at other nail salons). The conversations with both Natalie and Lina were helpful and it also made me feel like I was chatting with a good friend. It's honestly been the best visit to a nail salon I've ever had. She is friendly, knowledgeable about the different nail polishes (especially which ones work best for the nail art you are requesting), and takes her time doing your nail art! I had a very relaxing time during my appointment and my mermaid-themed nail art turned out beautiful! The quality of her work was amazing too! I will always love Desiree's work however the business is run by a woman that has ticked me off one too many times. Lately EVERY time I come in for a manicure, she pushes my BOOKED APPOINTMENT back by at least 20 minutes without even asking me if it's okay first. Today it is 1hr 10 minutes behind and COUNTING. I end up having to wait for my tech to finish someone, or leave and go somewhere else entirely. She is so incredibly unprofessional, she doesn't even have the empathy to let me know beforehand that she's ignoring my booked appointment time. It's basically pointless to make an appointment.
