I will still give this place 4 stars.... I had a different nail tech this time and though very nice, I will not go back to her. I don't know what happened to the shape of my nails but they weren't square (which I originally wanted) and they weren't round? They were just not great... I was unhappy with them but I am not the type to complain. Her work was definitely a tad slower than what I am used to. After she put the acrylic on, they asked me to move to a different station and Kim took over (who I had last time). She could tell I was unhappy with the shape but I said it was okay, but she insisted she could fix it and asked which shape I wanted. She definitely fixed them and I was MUCH HAPPIER! She literally saved my nails, and my day! She is quick, clean and detailed. Though my nails are shorter than I originally wanted them due to all of the filing, they are at least shaped nicely and look clean! I will be back, but will be requesting Kim! read more

Went in with a vision in my head and left extremely disappointed. I wasn't asking for much, just a gold polish gel manicure with black on my ring finger. As the owner started painting my nails, the color of the polish looked more copper/bronze, more of an orange undertone. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she blamed it on the light and pointed to the bottle saying it was 24k gold. I kept insisting it was not gold and she kept painting. I pointed to her gold bracelet and said even your bracelet doesn't match and she says my bracelet isnt 24k gold. Really! After everything was done and I washed my hands, I ended up with Halloween looking nails. Never again!!! read more

Worse gel manicure ever. ZERO STARS 1. They don't change out their filers or buffers and use the same one on multiple customers. When I questioned them, they said it was new. I know for a fact it wasn't new because I saw old nail residue on them. 2. She didn't even ask me what shape I wanted and started filing away. And then when she was done with one hand, she asked if it was okay. Nope! It was crooked and she even filed the side too much that it started to get tender 3. My cuticles weren't even cut all the way. 4. The paint job was so uneven. 5. There's paint all over the skin surrounding my nail. Please see picture. 6. They obviously didn't know I understand Vietnamese. And sure enough they started talking crap about me and everyone in the salon. My mom used to own two salons, and she never ever spoke bad about anyone! I only went here because of the good reviews but should've known when I walked in that this place was going to be horrible. I have been to this nail shop twice, both times to have my nails filled and redone and both times I have been throughly satisfied. The nail technicians here are very experienced, friendly, and super sweet. They are genuinely concerned about your nail desires and make sure that they listen and give you what you want. The shop is very small there is three women who work here, the same three women are always there, which I love. The pricing is amazing. A fill is only 15$!!! Which for the amazing quality is like unbelievably great. My favorite part of this shop is that the women listen, and give you everything you ask for and they are good at it! read more

Was in town from LA for a wedding in Napa and needed a mani pedi. After reading reviews for many different nail salons in the area, I chose this one. I'm glad I did. They did a good job with my manicure pedicure and had the large comfy spot chairs that they put on massage mode for me. Huong did my nails, was really nice, made conversation, and was very friendly. She and her colleague did my hands and nails at the same time so I was done with both mani and pedi within the hour. Also, at most salons I go to, the aestheticians will talk in a foreign language for at least half the time. Huong and the lady doing my pedicure didn't do that and I really appreciated it! It made the whole experience a lot nicer. Finally, they were so helpful that they even gave me a recommendation for where my husband could get his haircut, and a place where we could get lunch. The tech did a great job with filing and cuticle trimming, but not so great on the gel polish. The tech painted my cuticles. This is a nice little place. Not fancy at all, but the service was excellent! I went in for a mani pedi with gel polish. I was seen right away. I didn't make an appt, just in town for Thanksgiving. Kim was my technician and she did an awesome job! It was so relaxing. Nothing hurt, no accidents. The price was right. Plenty of free parking in front. There were three technicians. There were two other customers already being serviced when I came in. Both of them said they had been coming there for years. It was a quiet atmosphere. There was no rushing but she was efficient. The ladies here are so friendly and very efficient. You get services you request in a very timely manner without being rushed either. They really do a great job. I always get the manicure and pedicure. Love love love the pedicure because they clean your feet so well and give you a great massage as well!! It is so relaxing and calming. The prices here are very reasonable. I have even dragged my VERY alpha male boyfriend here for a pedicure. He was so against it because he thinks they are just for females but every once in a while I can talk him into it. This is the only place he will go. I needed my nails done badly. I didn't have an appointment so I had to wait 30 mins. No problem at all. I didn't catch the name of the ladies that worked on my hands. But the first lady suggested I start a new set rather than get a fill as intended. She explained why. She tried to save the large 3d jewels I had one but unfortunately couldn't salvage them. She recommended I get an almond shape to suit my hands. Love the shape. She took her time and checked in too make sure I was happy as we went. I decided to get a design on my index finger. I am extremely disappointed in this establishment. They did a terrible job on my fingernails. They're a sloppy mess! The technician who worked on my nails was rushed during the process of applying the gel and not really paying attention to what she was doing. When I asked her to fix it she at first acted like she couldn't see what she did wrong. Then her way of fixing it was to use an electronic nail file which simply made things worse while shredding my cuticles in the process, and it hurt! They did a very pretty job on my toes so I had no idea my fingernails would get the complete opposite treatment. My fingernails are an embarrassment! Take my advice, save yourself from the major disappointment and take your money elsewhere. Included are pictures of the mess the gal who worked on my fingernails did so you can judge for yourself. Called ahead like previous tips to schedule an appointment at 4:30pm for two pedicures. The lady on the phone assured me that that would be no problem. I was looking forward to taking my mom out to enjoy some R&R together. Judging from the previous reviews, I thought I had made an excellent choice out of the limited number of nail salons we have in Fairfield... Boy was I wrong. As soon as my mom and I walked in, we noticed how terribly hot it was. I noticed an AC unit on the wall, but it wasn't on. Why? It's over 90 degrees outside. We were asked to wait "10 minutes." Sure, no problem since it was only 4:25pm. We waited as two ladies were finishing up their pedicures.... And waited. One of the nail techs sat another customer down who came in after us. Weird. Out of the three chairs they had open, I wasn't sure how they were going to put my mom and I together. Oh, I know why.... Because we weren't going to and they ended up telling us one has to go first and then the other. Isn't this why I made an appointment in the first place?? For TWO pedicures?? My mom ended up going first. I decided to not even get mine done. The whole point was to sit next to my mom to enjoy it together. So I sat... And waited.... In front of a rotating fan that blew my face with hot air every 10 seconds. They called me up over half an hour later than my scheduled appointment. Um, no thanks. I'd rather get into my AC'd car. Lesson learned. Never coming here again. So much for "R&R." Lol. read more

Came with a friend to get manicures. $20 for a manicure with gel polish. Honestly, they look decent but could have saved my money and did it myself. There's a solid color selection which is nice. The lady who did them (assuming she was the owner) was very nice. However, the service itself was BARE MINIMUM. She didn't push back/deal with the cuticles, wasn't very sanitary, and didn't even put on any cuticle oil or anything. If you're really terrible at painting your own nails or don't own gel polish supplies, it may be worth it just to get em done, but if you can do it yourself, save the money and do it yourself or spend a little more elsewhere and feel like you're actually getting pampered. read more
