Got a manicure and it was BEYOND basic. If I didn't say anything I'm sure my nails would have been sloppily filed and then just painted. I had to point out and ask about the dry skin around my fingers and had to request cuticle oil. I thought he was nice but was really passive aggressive. Paint job was not too bad, but was a bit sloppy and didn't fully cover my nail beds. When I did receive the cuticle oil, it was after my nails were painter and large droplets were added, so I had oil dripping allllllll over my hands while under the dryer. Never again. read more

The nails were done okay but the customer service was terrible. We walked in and they said "if you want more colors maybe you should go to the mall" this is before we said they didn't have the colors we wanted. When we sat they did an okay job but there was a lot of stray polish on the fingers. While we were there a black lady walked in and asked if they can do her nails. At that time there was me and one other lady getting her nails done. They said something in Vietnamese and said to her "sorry we have appointments coming in" I was there for 30 more minutes and there was no appointments that came. Also they had said at some point "the owner only buys the basic colors" so I guess they feel like it's not their problem because it's not their shop... Do no visit them! They were empty on a Saturday afternoon and that should have been a warning sign. read more

Went to Pro Nails on a Monday and by Thursday I had 3 chipped nails. I went back to the shop and they told me I had to pay for another fill - $30. I argued that the nails were too thin and that's not fault. Because I didn't want to take this problem to anybody else, I had them do it. Honestly, they came up with many excuses for not fixing the problem, but ultimately did. I don't recommend this place at all and will never go back! read more

I came here for the first time to get acrylics and they looked great. The service was good and they were very friendly! My only problem was that one of the nails came off I super glued it back on thinking that it was my mistake after making a bad move that was hard enough to found the nail off my finger. But within 2 days of the first one coming off, 4 more came off and 2 of those nails I lost. I didn't want to go back and get them redone so I attempted to remove all of them and sure enough they came off one after the other. The nails looked good and the service was great but the longevity of the acrylics was really bad. I've had nails last me 2 months before and I've had nails last me 3 weeks. But those lasted a week before they started coming off. I may go back for pedicures as their prices are beyond reasonable but probably not for a full set of acrylics. read more

I literally just walked in and they had 1 customer getting a pedicure and 2 seated. There was a gentleman working there as well. The lady proceeds to tell me, sorry they're full. I'm looking at the 3 people and said "you're full?" She said yes, you'll need to make an appt. We no longer accept walk-ins. The sign on the door says walk-ins welcome plain as day. She didn't offer for me to come back. She didn't offer to schedule an appointment. I don't want to jump the gun and assume they turn away black business. But I definitely will not be coming back here. Ever. Poor customer service! read more

I love this place! I come here all the time, whenever I need my nails done. They're not too expensive and really take their time with you. Also, the stuff they use as a top coat glows under blacklight, which is pretty cool. I personally like the girl a little more, she is also the one who does designs, but the guy is much more social and talkative with you. I was able to get a French manicure with a design and nail repair, and a French pedicure all for $43 read more

I've been going to this nail salon for 4 years now, rarely would I go elsewhere (only when they were closed). My daughter gave me a $25 gift certificate a few years ago, which I thought I had used it. I ran across it in a Mother's Day card, it had expired on 5/10/2013, so I did what most would do....I went to the nail salon and told them what I had found. They would NOT honor the certificate. I tried to tell her that not honoring the certificate was illegal, but she insisted that she had a right to put an expiration date on the card. But I know she was wrong to not honor the certificate . SO I CHECKED THE INTERNET AND HERE'S WHAT I FOUND. "People who live in California are in luck. It's against California law to put time limits on gift certificates (with a few exceptions, including gift certificates for food, from nonprofit fundraisers, and from awards programs)." So with this all said and done...............they lost a customer, because I told her that I would not be back. I used to get my friends and family to go there, but not anymore. I will say, that I'm surprised, for the cost of one lousy pedicure they lost a customer. read more

I rarely do reviews but I felt it was necessary. If I could save one person from having a negative experience then this is worth it. This is my first and last time coming here. The ladies here are not very friendly. They aren't very sanitary and the place is unkept. The towels were dingy and some of the tools they used (i.e. scrubber) seemed to be reused. There arent many nail polish selections so if you are looking for variety this place doesn't have it. The person who did my nails literally painted them like a 5 year old, even having to go back over the spots she missed after already put on two coats. There was absolutely no technique. I felt cheated! I could have done a better job with my eyes closed. I like the experience of feeling like I am being pampered but that was not the feeling I had at all. DON'T COME here if you want quality, cleanliness, or a friendly face. DON'T waste your time or money. read more

This is a great little mom & pop nail shop. A spa pedi is only $20. I have extremely ticklish feet and their tip to reduce the ticklishness is to do the foot scrub under water! Oh, whew! It doesn't take the ticklishness away but it does make it more tolerable. Both are careful with their techniques and I will let either one do my pedi. A nice hidden jewel in Fairfield. (Another plus is they are in the same strip mall as Mandarin Restaurant and across the street from Monsoon Burger--lunch and pedi! Worth the drive from Rio Vista!) PS: Closed on Sunday. read more
