We all know how nerve wracking it can be to speak up at a nail salon but Tina never makes you feel that way. Tina remembers your preferences so it always feels like such a personal experience. Her shop is relaxed and comfortable. I always look forward to going in every month. My mom gets acrylics and I get builder gel. I can easily go 5 weeks or more before getting my nails done again. Typically the dremel is only used to file the top layer of gel off then cuticle pushing tool is used to scrape off the residual gel gently. I told this to the other tech and she agreed with me. When I pointed out a red and almost bloody portion on my thumb they tried to tell me it it had already been there under my gel?? I had to cut all my nails down completely, they were perfectly healthy before I went in here to get the gel removed. In fact most of my nails still have residual glue/base on them, the job was so bad and inconsistent everywhere I didn't even want them to buff anymore, only after I mentioned this and had her feel my nails did they even offer to finish. I deeply regret paying for this service.

I've scavenged all over local mom groups to find a salon that could accommodate but was left with going to a regular salon or Sacramento. Fortunately, I found Nancy's Hair & Salon and saw that they had a kid's pedicure chair along with kid's prices. I called the day before to confirm and (who I believe was Nancy) was super helpful with details. I decided to make it a family affair minus one (because she's too young) and brought my daughter, husband, and myself for a kids pedicures/manicure, a pedicure, and a gel manicure. My daughter absolutely loved the experience. She was beaming from beginning to end and my husband was able to finally get his nails taken care of. I had my gel manicure done by Ana and she was awesome. We got a long very and talked throughout the manicure. She was super friendly and my nails came out great!
